
Meditation For The Integration Of Recent Global events: Call Your Energy Back!

This is a meditation for healing and the integration of recent global events. A soothing practice to help you acknowledge, soothe, and release any turbulence in your system. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, scattered, frightened, I hope this meditation will help you acknowledge and integrate these feelings and then bathe you in compassion and self-love. Transcript
Music You've arrived here because you're seeking some guidance,
Some solace and processing and integrating recent events.
The world's been through a huge shakeup recently and the effects of these events affect us emotionally and energetically.
Sometimes in ways we struggle to name but we can feel in our bodies.
You might be feeling overwhelmed,
Scattered,
You might be struggling to keep a hand along clock and calendar time.
You might be feeling like it's unsafe to go to sleep because your dream realm has been very active and you wake up feeling tired from your dream activity.
All of these things are normal and healthy given what's been happening.
So take some time now to relax,
Do some intentional breathing and to integrate your emotional energetic experiences so that you can ground down back into your body,
Settle your somatic system and intentionally integrate the experiences of the last few months to heal,
To resettle,
To call your energy back from wherever it's been,
Back into self,
Your body,
Your conscious awareness.
Getting into a comfortable position now with a seated or lying down,
Whatever is most comfortable for you so you can focus.
You might close your eyes or lower your gaze and then soften your shoulders,
Relax your shoulders down away from your ears and take three long slow breaths.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Carry on taking long slow breaths until you can feel your body beginning to soften and your focus becoming more internal.
Feel where your body is making contact with the floor whether it's your seat bones or perhaps your whole body and allow your body to sink there,
Allow your body to feel more supported there,
Allow your body to release and relax and as you lie there visualize threads reaching out from your body.
These threads are attached to you and they float and undulate out into space in a flowing motion like the waving of a sea anemone.
At the end of each thread is some small piece of you which has become a little separated from you because of all that you've been through recently.
It might look like your worries for other people,
People you love,
People you don't know in other parts of the world,
Your concerns for fellow humans everywhere.
They stemmed from your heart but now they've become a little detached and are floating out from your chest.
Maybe there's some shock and disbelief which is floating there and you've been so busy getting on with your everyday life you haven't yet been able to acknowledge these feelings but there they float following you around.
Perhaps there's some overarching worries about whether we're equipped to cope with the challenges arising,
The challenges ahead.
Maybe there's just the white noise of overwhelm,
A background hum that you haven't been able to analyze but you can just sense it there.
Whatever arises in your mind as you imagine what is at the end of your threads,
The threads of emotional energetic experience which radiate out from your body.
Just take some time now to observe them without judgment,
To allow them to be with them,
To breathe into them,
And to breathe with them.
As you breathe into whatever arises,
As you contemplate your experiences of recent months,
Start to bring a sense of compassion towards whatever has come up for you.
Here you are,
A human animal negotiating a large and chaotic world so find forgiveness towards yourself.
Find some acceptance for how it's been and how you've felt.
Take some deep breaths inviting in compassion,
Inviting in acceptance.
Now using the inhale and exhale imagine the worries,
The concerns,
The experiences at the ends of your threads beginning to dissolve away.
They dissolve away from the power of your taking time to acknowledge them.
You've had the courage to see them,
To acknowledge them,
To be with them,
To feel,
To listen,
To trust.
You've taken all the lessons,
All the wisdom from these things now and because of this you no longer need to carry them around.
Through your acknowledgement and integration they can dissolve away.
Use your breath to breathe them away.
And as the phenomena at the end of each thread slowly dissolves away,
Returning to the ether,
You can now gently and slowly draw the threads down back into your body.
As you breathe deeply you draw all of your thoughts,
Experiences,
Emotions back into the core of your body integrating all lessons,
All wisdom,
All life learning from recent experiences into the core of your body,
Your being.
And as you do so you are slowly feeling more integrated,
More whole,
More grounded and more peaceful with every breath.
Say to yourself,
I am integrated,
I am wise,
I am peaceful,
I am whole.
As you allow yourself to feel whole,
Feel grounded and at peace,
Allow love to wash over and through your system now.
Invite in deep compassion through the breath,
Through your integrated awareness of what's been happening.
Come into the heart space now,
The physical heart space,
The energetic heart space,
The center of love and compassion in your body.
Imagine the heart space as a ball of warm yellow light which grows bigger with every exhale.
Every inhale,
An intention to love yourself,
Accept your experiences,
Every exhale,
Sending that love all around your body.
Inhaling,
I love myself and integrate my recent experiences.
Exhaling,
Love radiates through my whole body now.
Love radiates through my whole body now.
Love radiates through my whole body now.
See the warm yellow light bathing your whole body now.
From the heart space out,
Going further around the body with every exhale.
Love radiates through my whole body now.
I am wise,
I am strong,
I am whole.
And as you bathe in the warm yellow light of self-love,
Of wisdom,
Of reintegration,
Just know that you can return to the state of feeling loved,
Feeling safe,
And feeling whole at any time.
Just know that if you ever again begin to feel the scattered,
Dissipated feeling of emotional and energetic overwhelm,
You have the ability to put yourself back together through conscious awareness.
Through conscious breath,
Through your innate wisdom and courage,
You don't have to suffer.
You have the power to assist yourself with these simple,
Powerful practices of breath and conscious awareness.
Breathing the warm golden light of self-love,
Self-acceptance around the body,
Just begin to become aware of the edges of your body now.
Feel the edges of your body from the top of your head,
Along your sides,
Your back,
Your legs,
The soles of your feet,
The edge of where you meet the rest of the world.
And take this awareness of the edges of your physical body and feel the sovereignty in that awareness.
You are you,
Of the world,
But first sovereign to yourself.
And as such,
You are strong,
You are powerful,
And you are brave.
You get to decide what you want to take on in terms of events,
Energies and emotions in the external world.
And if you begin to feel overwhelmed,
You can pull your energies,
Your emotions,
Back into the center at any time,
Into your conscious awareness,
Your power,
The sovereignty of the self,
Your strong heart and your inner knowing.
Allow yourself to bask in the golden glow of your inner wisdom,
The warmth of your love for yourself.
Getting ready to return to your daily life,
More integrated,
More whole,
Ready for new experiences and the next challenges of your human journey through life.
And slowly returning your awareness to your body on the floor or seat.
Coming into a more natural breath now,
Make some little movements,
Perhaps circling hands,
Circling ankles,
Coming back into the body,
Into awareness of your strong spine,
Your soft face,
Grounding through your feet.
Finishing with a final affirmation from this practice,
I am whole,
I am wise,
I am safe,
I am loved.
May you go forward into your life with courage,
With kindness and with happiness.

Thank you Helen for this meditation, I liked the emphasis on the word "integrating" on which I have been working a lot over the last few years.
