Welcome to your forgiveness meditation.

This meditation is for you if your inner peace is disturbed in any way.

Often times when we are feeling inner turbulence and inner disturbance,

A call for forgiveness is very close.

Our hearts are beckoning,

Inviting us to heal.

If resentment,

Anger,

Bitterness,

Whether that is towards ourselves or another,

Are present,

Then we are experiencing a sort of internal imprisonment.

Similarly,

When we invite in the experience,

The embodiment of forgiveness,

We are free.

Forgiveness is a practice that can assist you in returning to an inner experience of freedom and an inner experience of peace.

The intention of this meditation is to offer you a space to place a healing balm of forgiveness over the harshness of resentment,

To allow you to release,

To let go,

To heal,

And to come home to your true nature,

Which is love.

And situating your body now in whatever way feels nourishing and safe to you,

Attuning to what your body requires today.

And as you situate your body and drop into the space,

We center ourselves with this intention.

Dear universe,

We call ourselves forward into your light and loving.

We ask to be filled,

Surrounded,

Blessed,

Cleared,

And protected by your light of living love.

We ask for an outcome that is for the highest and best good of all concerned,

And we place this practice in your hands,

Surrendering it into the light.

And beginning to breathe here,

Inhaling through your nose,

Allowing the air to fill your lungs and your heart,

And exhaling,

Relaxing your entire body.

Inhaling through your nose,

Allowing the air to fill your lungs and your heart,

And exhaling,

Relaxing every muscle in your body.

With every inhale,

Allowing yourself to receive a greater experience of love,

And with every exhale,

Relaxing even more deeply.

And in your mind's eye,

Holding a vision of someone you are ready to forgive,

Imagining them moving towards you and inviting them to sit down in front of you.

And as they sit down in front of you,

You lock eyes with them,

Gazing at them and them gazing back at you.

And as you gaze at this person,

Centering your awareness in your heart,

And as you do this pure,

Vibrant light manifests itself at the center of your heart,

And that light begins to move out from the center of your heart,

Vibrating right into the center of their heart.

Finding a steady stream of love and peace right into their heart.

And as that light enters their heart,

It begins to return itself to make its way back to you.

And so that light moves in a steady,

Infinite stream of love and peace from your heart to their heart.

From their heart to your heart.

From your heart to their heart.

And from their heart to your heart.

Allowing yourself to fully receive of this moment,

Of this experience.

Receiving the love that exists innately within you.

Receiving the love that exists innately within you.

Receiving the love that exists innately within them.

And seeing this constant stream of light extending outward,

Pouring over their body,

Pouring over your body,

Connecting the two of you,

Joining you as one.

And as you continue to hold this vision,

Gently saying to them,

I forgive you.

I release all resentment towards you.

I forgive you.

I accept where you are on your journey,

And I know you suffer too.

I forgive you.

I love you.

I forgive you.

I release all resentment towards you.

I forgive you.

I accept where you are on your journey,

And I know you suffer too.

I forgive you.

I love you.

Allowing yourself to receive the reciprocal healing of forgiveness.

Allowing yourself to receive that inner freedom,

That inner peace.

Allowing them to receive the inner freedom,

The inner peace.

And now allowing that person to slowly fade away.

Calling all of your energy back.

Resting here in this space,

In this moment.

Deepening your breath as you bring your awareness back into the room.

Shaking your eyes a few times,

Bringing your awareness fully back into the space.

Thank you for giving yourself and this person one of the most deeply healing and loving gifts we could ever give ourselves and another.

Forgiveness.

I'm sending you so much love and endless blessings.

Take great care.

I forgive you.

I forgive you.

I forgive you now.

I forgive you.

I forgive you.

I forgive you now.

I forgive you.

I forgive you.

I forgive you now.

I forgive you now.

Very emotional and so helpful. I've struggled to completely forgive two people in my life who hurt me beyond measure. With this gentle meditation I was finally able to see them for the suffering and hurt individuals they are.
