Find a comfortable,
Quiet space,
And start by connecting with any uncomfortable feelings you're having within yourself right now.
Whether you're feeling anxious,
Overwhelmed,
Worried,
Bring forward whatever it is that you're internalizing and just sit with the feeling for a moment.
Now set the intention of how you want to feel at the end of this meditation.
Whether you're having a fear of the unknown,
A feeling of overwhelm,
Whatever it is,
Set the intention of having faith and trust in not only the situation,
But also yourself.
Set the intention of letting go and fully believing whatever it is will work out the way it's meant to.
Remember,
It's almost impossible to hold the energy of having fear and worry and also hold the energy of trust and faith.
In order to step into faith,
You need to fully let go of fear and worry.
Now start by taking a deep breath in for four,
Hold for seven,
And exhale for eight.
Repeat this three times on your own.
In for four,
Hold for seven,
And exhale for eight.
Start bringing awareness of any tension and anxiety you're holding in your body and just let it go.
Gently shake your whole body,
Your head,
Your hands,
Your legs,
Release any stagnant energy within yourself.
Now just stop and relax,
Starting from head to toe,
Relax your eyes,
Unclench your jaw,
Relax your shoulders.
Take the palms of your hands and gently press them on your closed eyes for about 20 seconds.
Now relax your hands down by your side and turn your palms facing up.
Relax your hips and slowly move your ankles back and forth and drop them in a resting position.
Take another deep breath in.
Now imagine the ceiling above you slowly starts to open.
You have an open sky full of clouds above you.
As you're lying there,
A large white cloud comes to you and it slowly makes its way underneath you.
It starts floating you away to your safe place,
A place where your life can pause,
A place you can go to find clarity again.
Remember this could be an imagined place,
A place you like to go in real life.
Whatever it is,
Know that you are safe here.
As you're lying on your cloud,
Allow your body to fully relax and completely release any tension.
When you arrive to your safe place,
Step off your cloud and look at the details around you.
Imagine in detail how it looks,
Whether it's an ocean,
Mountains,
The smell of fresh air.
Just take a deep breath in and fully embrace the feeling of peace and safety you have here.
Now start sitting with this anxious feeling you're having within yourself.
Try to find the root cause of this feeling.
Is this due to a fear?
Most fear and anxiety come from the fear of the unknown,
A fear of not knowing if something's going to work out or if something bad is going to happen.
Just remember the fear of the unknown is almost always worse than what the future outcome will actually be.
As you start to find the root cause of this anxiety,
Start to dig a little deeper into it.
Sometimes we think the root cause is what's in front of us,
But often it's something deeper.
It might be your mind and body recognizing a familiar situation from the past and associating it with what's happening now.
But remember,
You're in a different place than you were in the past,
Both physically and mentally.
Don't allow the fear of your past to take over the peace of your future.
Sometimes the anxiety building up is just as simple as something you need to take action on.
Anxiety is a part of your intuition.
Instead of pushing it away and distracting yourself,
Lean into it.
What is this anxious feeling telling you?
Is it an action you need to take?
A fear you need to heal from?
A boundary you need to set?
Just sit with it for a minute and listen to your intuition.
Now that you've connected with this anxious feeling,
Maybe you've found more than one thing you're anxious about.
As you're sitting in your safe place,
Imagine you have two jars.
One is for things that are making you anxious that you have no control of,
And the other jar is for things that you can change and start taking action on.
Imagine yourself writing out any anxious thoughts and feelings of a situation that you have no control of and putting them in a jar.
Anything that's coming up,
Just release into this jar,
And once you're done,
Let it go.
Throw it into the nearest river or ocean in your safe place,
As far away from you as possible.
Now that you've let it go,
Remember those thoughts are no longer yours.
Fully embrace the feeling of trust and faith you have in the situation.
Now in jar two,
Start thinking of action steps you can take,
Whether they are small or big.
Listen to your intuition and listen to what you need to do.
Start thinking of little action steps you can take and fill this jar with anything coming up.
You can come back to this and journal through all of these action steps at the end of the meditation.
Remember that first step is always the hardest,
So just make it something small and simple,
Whether it's a project you need to start,
A conversation you need to have with someone.
Sometimes anxiety comes from a bunch of small things that are building up,
Such as needing to clean,
A bill you need to pay,
Maybe it's a decision you need to make,
Just focus on the things you can control and the small steps you can take to move through this anxious feeling instead of ignoring it.
Take another deep breath in and out.
As you're in your safe place,
The feeling of peace starts to replace the feeling of anxiety.
You're starting to feel like everything will be okay.
As you're sitting there,
You feel a hand on your shoulder.
It's your safe person,
Whether that's your higher or future self,
A grandparent,
A parent,
God,
A loved one past or present.
Whomever your own personal safe person is,
They are always here with you.
Imagine they give you a hug and they have a message for you.
Take a moment to truly pause and listen to what this person would tell you right now.
Fully take in whatever message this person had for you.
And as you get ready to go,
Take another deep breath in.
Give your safe person a hug and fully take in the feeling of peace you have within yourself right now.
The feeling of faith and trust and fully knowing it's all going to work out.
Go ahead and get back on your cloud.
And slowly start floating back to your reality and come back up when you're ready.
