Hello and welcome to this meditation.
This is Rosie Elizabeth here with My Life Is Rosie and this meditation is all about releasing what's holding you back.
It's time for you to get comfortable and begin to close your eyes.
This time is just for you.
Know that you are in a safe space,
You are being held energetically by me and all the other beings that you would like to invite in.
And that this time is really an opportunity for you to release what is holding you back.
And that doesn't mean you have to think about what's holding you back or label it or even come up with it.
But it's more about your willingness to release.
And our willingness to release is often just an internal switch.
Allow this time to set any other intention that you have for this practice.
Beginning to take long deep breaths here,
Really focusing in on the inhales,
The belly expanding,
The chest expanding,
Filling up completely.
And exhale,
Breathing the air out and releasing it.
Continue breathing like this and either use your fingers to count to ten or just continue breathing and my voice will signal when we're about done with the ten breaths.
Continuing to pay special attention to the sensation of the body breathing in and the sensation of the body breathing out.
Continuing here with a few more breaths.
And now just releasing anything that feels tight in your body.
Anything that you feel like is holding you back from completely relaxing in this moment.
Again,
No need to label it or to begin a thought process around it.
But just making the decision to release.
And imagining that whatever is holding you back begins to drift off of you like the wind or smoke.
Knowing that you get to decide when enough is enough.
When you're done,
When you're ready for change,
You get to decide.
And oftentimes in life we don't feel like we get to decide.
We feel like we have to struggle,
Keep pushing,
Suck it up.
But the truth is that we get to decide.
We get to release.
We get to let go.
Fill up your body here with the energy of whatever it is that's holding you back.
Really lean into it and feel into it.
Notice if any emotions are coming up.
If any sensations or colors,
Imagery,
Or maybe the habit just comes into your mind.
Filling your body completely with this sensation,
Allowing it to be uncomfortable for a moment.
And taking an inhale breath,
Feeling it so deeply.
And on your exhale breath,
Release it completely,
Sigh it out,
Let it go.
Next breath,
Inhale again,
Fill up with it,
Feel it even more.
And on your exhale breath,
Let it go.
And come back to your long deep inhales and long deep exhales here.
Knowing that on the other side of this habit,
On the other side of this thought pattern,
Or whatever it is that's holding you back,
Is a massive sense of freedom,
A massive sense of relief.
And all you have to do is make a decision.
A decision that you are ready to let go.
And knowing that once you release that resistance,
That clinging on,
That holding on,
That it will just release and it will just let go.
Oftentimes we're in our head battling our ego.
What should I do?
What shouldn't I do?
What's the right decision?
And allowing that tension to just drift away.
Continuing to breathe here and really on your exhale breaths,
Releasing fully and completely.
Continuing to see that imagery of the smoke or the wind drift off your body as the energy that's holding you back floats away,
Drifts away,
Melts away.
Turn your palms over here so they face the ceiling or the sky.
Welcoming in the new.
This helps the heart chakra open and release fear and welcome in love.
Connecting with a space of acceptance and surrender at the same time.
Accepting your behavior,
Accepting your habit,
Accepting whatever it is that's holding you back.
It's been holding you back.
Whether you feel like it's something in the external world or internally.
Taking a moment just to accept that because with the acceptance we release resistance.
And now taking a moment to surrender to it and even go deeper with the acceptance to a level of surrender.
Surrendering what's holding you back.
Giving it up,
Throwing the towel in,
Just completely releasing and letting go.
You can continue with the mantra I release,
I release,
I release.
And then you can even add in a word or phrase that helps you signify what you're releasing.
Or you can just continue with I release,
I release,
I let go,
I let go,
I release,
I let go.
Continuing to feel yourself release and let go for as long as you need.
