Lay your arms by your sides with your palms facing up.
Have your head resting on your soft pillow and softly close your eyes,
Setting the intention to relax and drift off into a deep sleep effortlessly.
Allowing the mind to quiet,
Allowing the body to relax and allowing your consciousness to shift naturally into a sleep state.
Where you will wake up feeling energized with a new day.
Notice how comfortable you feel right now.
Feeling the weight of the covers as they rest over your body.
How soft they feel as they rest against you.
Keeping you warm,
Feeling so safe,
Feeling so nurtured.
Giving yourself full permission to surrender deeper into relaxation.
Allowing the muscles in your body to soften.
Feeling yourself sink deeper into the bed.
Resting now in this stillness and in this place of contentment and peace.
Allowing yourself to simply notice the sounds of the rain as it pours down and hits the tin roof.
Feeling grateful to be warm and dry in your home,
In your bed.
And feeling appreciation for the relaxing sounds of the rain.
Simply listening and relaxing now.
Feeling completely calm and present.
You are dry,
Warm and safe.
You are feeling more and more relaxed.
You feel your consciousness shifting from a waking state into a sleep state.
