Holidays can be stressful and triggering for some. If that resonates, then this meditation is designed for you. Family triggers can feel really heavy and send us into fight or flight. It can sometimes feel like years worth of healing is undone in a single moment. I want to reassure you that isn’t the case. Triggers are not steps back, they are just clues, an opportunity to embrace this human experience, embrace our emotions, and create resilience. This meditation will help you do that in 6 minutes.

Holidays can feel stressful especially if the people around us or our families are triggering and usually it's the people closest to us that trigger us the most and family triggers can feel really heavy and send us into fight-or-flight it can sometimes feel like years worth of healing is undone in just a moment but I want to reassure you that that isn't the case triggers are not steps back they are just clues they're an opportunity to embrace this human experience to embrace our emotions and to create resilience this quick meditation is designed to help you recenter and remember who you are you are not your triggers you are not your stress and you get to decide who you are you get to decide how you show up so wherever you are make yourself comfortable and just take this moment for yourself closing the eyes and relaxing the body take a deep breath in to fill the body with fresh new oxygen and exhale to release anything that's not going to serve you in this meditation and again inhale fill the body with lightness and exhale to release any stress final deep breath in make this the deepest breath of your day so far as you inhale and exhale to release any triggers bring your awareness to your body feel its contact with the surface underneath you feel supported by the surface you are on and for a moment make a fist with your hands and squeeze as hard as you can tensing up your muscles creating tension and exhale as you release the tension and relax deeper relax the crown of your head relax the mind the face muscles the jaw invite that relaxation down through the throat space the neck and the shoulders the arms all the way down to the fingertips relax down through the heart space the hips the legs all the way down to the bottoms of the feet these next few affirmations are designed to remind you who you are repeat them to yourself and as you do this I want you to feel them embody them focus on feeling them because you get to decide how you feel you get to decide how you relate to things so feel them and embody them I am NOT my fears doubts or past I am whole complete and perfect exactly as I am I am safe my resilience and my strength increase every time I am faced with challenges and triggers I get to decide what thoughts I interact with I am connected to a limitless source of wisdom strength and love my presence alone is enough I don't need to prove myself to anyone my presence alone is enough I don't need to prove myself to anyone my presence alone is enough I don't need to prove myself to anyone I am radiant and limitless and deserve peace success and abundance think of one thing in this moment that you're deeply grateful for hold it in your awareness as you breathe imagining a bright white light entering your body filling you with the frequency of gratitude filling your body with this bright white light expanding that about 10 feet past your body shifting the energy around you and shifting your frequency and now imagine a bubble locking in that high energy and shielding you from any lower densities that try to enter your field take this with you and come back to it anytime that you need
