This is a meditation for lovers and or romantic partners. It is a practice in energy exchange which can be a great way to connect, practice together, or prepare for physical intimacy. It can be done together in the same physical space and it can also be a great way to connect energetically with partners over distance. This can also be a meditation a single person can use to magnetize a partner. Enjoy!

Welcome to meditation.

This is a meditation that can be done with a lover or an intimate partner.

It's also a meditation that can be done alone as a form of an invocation,

A sort of a manifestation meditation,

If you are trying to connect to a partner,

To a lover.

This is also a meditation that can be practiced as a sacred union practice with whatever form of the divine you most intimately relate to.

So whether you are with your partner or you're practicing by yourself,

Make your body very comfortable and this is a practice that is done in a sitting position.

If you're with a partner,

Sit facing one another very close.

So if you're sitting with crossed legs,

Your knees can touch.

Same thing if you're sitting in a chair.

Traditionally,

This practice would be done sitting down on the ground or on the floor.

If you're practicing alone,

Then you visualize your beloved sitting in front of you.

Whether that's an ethereal beloved,

Like a form of God,

Or whether that's the beloved you hope to manifest as a relationship in your life.

So as you get set up,

Take a moment to hold hands and just look at each other.

You can allow it to be a little awkward if it feels awkward.

And just take some nice belly breaths together and get settled in before we dive into the deep energetics of this practice.

Just get settled in.

Make sure that your body is comfortable.

The partner's body is comfortable.

And then have a last look before you close your eyes together.

If it's comfortable to hold hands,

You can hold hands.

Otherwise,

You can relax your hands in whatever way helps you to go into a meditative mode.

But try to maintain some contact,

Even if it's just your knees.

With your eyes closed,

Feel the presence of the other.

You're there breathing.

They're there in front of you breathing.

And then connect to the earth.

Whether you're sitting close to the earth or you're sitting high above in a building.

From the base of your body,

Sitting wherever you're sitting,

Feel an energetic movement going down and connecting to the earth below you.

Feel that earth that you're both sitting on,

That you're both connecting to,

And feel your body.

Your body is just earth.

It's made of earth.

It's made of water.

It's made of fire.

Feel your breath deeper so that you can really feel your embodiment held by the earth sitting for this practice.

And then with the awareness of the other sitting before you,

Go into your own experience more fully and feel the central channel of your energetic body.

From the base of your pelvis all the way up through the crown of your head.

And we begin this practice with a vertical breathing within ourselves first.

So you can imagine the breath flowing up when you breathe in and down when you breathe out.

You don't have to synchronize your breath with your partner.

They're there breathing at their pace.

And you're breathing at your pace.

But the breath is flowing up and down inside of you and up and down inside of them.

You don't have to sit completely still.

There can be some movement.

In fact,

It's good for there to be a little bit of movement in your spine,

A little bit of rocking,

A little bit of space-making as this breath is moving up and down.

Make sure your neck doesn't get locked up.

Make sure your spine doesn't get locked up.

And for now,

I want you to resist sharing energy with your partner for now.

For now,

The practice is focusing on this vertical movement of energy within your own being and a concentration of that energy.

So you can imagine drawing in any energies that have been drifting out of you,

Leaking out of you,

Paying attention to all kinds of details or things happening in the world around you.

Pull those back in now.

Concentrate them in your core,

Your breath moving up when you breathe in and down when you breathe out.

Your partner's doing the same thing.

The stronger this step is,

The stronger the next step will be.

And just feel within your own being what is free and what is not,

What is locked up and what is open.

Feel through what we call the three hearts.

Your upper heart in your head,

Your middle heart in your chest and belly,

And your lower heart in your pelvis.

Does it feel like the energy is free and potent all the way from the bottom to the top,

From the top to the bottom?

You might find that you want to use your hands on your body to help energy move or get free,

Or just even to have that contact sensation.

You might want to move your hips or your spine to help with this process of freeing energy and just getting in touch with these centers,

Getting this energy nice and potent,

Nice and free.

A stronger breath might want to come.

Sounds might want to come.

If your partner makes a sound,

You don't have to open your eyes.

You know what's happening.

We're still within ourselves,

Though.

We're not sharing the energy yet.

Now,

Bring more of awareness to your partner.

You can feel that point of contact with the knees or however you're contacting.

Stay within the vertical.

And then gently reach out with your hands and find the hands of your partner.

Or visualize this if you're practicing alone.

You're still within your own vertical energy flow,

But it's getting very strong and very free.

And your partner's is getting very strong and very free.

And now from this vertical,

We're going to invite the energy to start to move horizontally.

And it's organic,

So it's gradual,

The shift.

But now as your breath moves,

When you breathe in,

You're going to be breathing in energy from your partner.

And when you're breathing out,

You're giving energy to your partner.

And again,

You don't have to synchronize your breath.

And you can have the awareness that only the purest,

Freest,

Most beneficial energy is getting shared.

Sometimes we hold back from a feeling of unworthiness or a sense of our flawed nature.

We don't want to share our energy.

But just trust that within this practice,

The energy that you're sharing is just the good stuff.

Just that energy that is most beneficial.

You might be able to really feel it,

Or you might just have to imagine it at first.

But now the edge in this meditation,

The growth in this meditation comes with how receptive you can be.

And how freely generous you can be.

So when you breathe in,

You're opening all the way through the three hearts,

All the way from the top to the bottom,

From the bottom to the top.

To the energy coming from all three hearts of the partner.

It's vulnerable.

It's okay if it takes a second or feels awkward.

And at any point if it feels unnatural to hold hands or you want to shift your body in whatever way to be comfortable,

That's okay.

Your breath might want to be really gentle or your breath might get more intense.

But you're focusing on increasing your receptivity and increasing your generosity.

So the same way you're focusing on receiving all the way from the top to the bottom,

From the bottom to the top.

You're also giving.

See if you can feel the connection.

See if you can feel that outpouring to your partner.

The reception of your partner's outpouring.

You may wish to get closer physically.

If it feels natural and it's comfortable,

You can come all the way in contact with each other.

And you can stay at this distance.

If you're visualizing,

You can choose that level of closeness you want to visualize.

As you more deeply exchange the energy,

There's a deeper embrace.

But stay with the energetic practice.

You're breathing out.

You're sharing this love,

This beneficial energy,

This blessing through your whole body into their whole body.

When you breathe in,

You're receiving.

It's natural for this to turn into touching or kissing or deeper physical connection.

But see if you can keep this energetic focus.

Even as you add the touching,

Even as you add the deeper physical embrace,

There's no need to rush.

We're slowing everything way down.

This second stage is the last stage in this guided meditation.

And so we're moving into a completion of this stage.

And then you decide what unfolds from here.

This can turn into lovemaking.

This could turn into dancing or resting.

However you want to complete this process.

Thank you for joining me for this meditation.
