Welcome beautiful beings,
Powerful hearts,
Back to another guided journey.
Today's intention is opening up your heart chakra for deeper compassion,
Healing,
And collective love.
So taking a moment to ground and arrive here with me as we begin to drop in.
Closing your eyes if they're not closed already and starting to open to feel my heart,
My presence here with yours.
The world moves quickly,
Energy shifts constantly,
And much like myself,
You are most likely feeling the emotional currents moving through the collective right now.
Sometimes these currents feel hopeful,
Sometimes they feel extra dense and heavy,
And when we are sensitive to the world around us,
Our hearts can feel both the heaviness and the lightness at the same time.
So today's meditation is an invitation to reconnect back with your heart,
Connecting back to it as the powerful center of balance and compassion.
So with me taking a big,
Big,
Big powerful breath in through your nose,
Into your belly,
And slowly out through your mouth,
And this time going again and holding at the top,
Breathing in,
Holding and allowing your beautiful body to settle,
Allowing yourself to get even one percent more comfortable in the position that you are in.
And starting now to bring your awareness to the center of your chest,
And noticing without any expectation or forcing or pressure,
Noticing the quiet presence,
Vibration,
Beating that is here.
Your heart center,
This space,
Has carried your love,
Your hopes,
Your grief,
Your courage.
And today with so much gentleness and ease,
We get to listen to it,
And we get to create a space for it to open.
Breathing in with me,
Into your belly,
And breathing out,
Expanding,
And going again,
Breathing into your belly,
And breathing out,
Expanding.
Your heart naturally over time builds protection from moments of disappointment,
Loss,
Uncertainty.
Naturally,
These experiences can cause the heart to tighten,
Not from weakness,
But as a form of protecting you.
So here with me,
Instead of trying to push open the heart,
We will offer it kindness.
Placing your hand on your heart,
Over your chest,
And inwardly with me,
Repeat,
Repeat,
It is safe to soften,
It is safe to feel.
My heart is allowed to open at its own pace.
And taking a slow breath into the space beneath your hand,
And breathing out,
Expanding,
Feeling the warmth spreading across your chest,
Feeling it under your hand,
And seeing now,
A soft,
Gentle light,
Starting to glow under your hand,
Outward from your heart centre,
A calm,
Green light.
And with each inhale,
This light becomes brighter.
With each exhale,
This light expands wider.
And just observing,
Feeling the warmth,
Feeling the steadiness,
Breathing in the brightness,
Breathing out,
Expanding.
Feeling it move into your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Feeling it expand through your whole upper body,
And feeling the compassion of your heart behind the light,
Through the light,
Your natural capacity to care,
To forgive,
To love deeply.
This green compassion has always been here with you.
It is always here to be applied to your life.
So take this moment now to think and bring into your inner awareness,
A part of your life that has felt particularly challenging,
Particularly heavy,
Dense,
Maybe something you are navigating emotionally,
Maybe something in the collective,
Without automatically going to analyse it with your mind.
Simply send your compassion toward yourself.
And see this green light wrapping around this version of you,
This part of you that has been struggling.
See this green light wrapping around this part of you,
This version of you,
With this loving embrace.
And as you feel and connect to this,
Let us add in my own affirmations and prayer here for you,
Feeling my love behind these words,
Directed right into your heart.
May you be kind to yourself.
May you be patient with your journey.
May you remember that you are human and you are allowed to make mistakes.
And may you remember that you are powerful beyond all measure and your heart is the opening to this.
Breathing in these words and breathing out,
Expanding.
Self-compassion is the foundation of a beautiful open heart.
And we get to experience this.
We get to feel it on a deeper level.
And from this self-compassion,
We can now see and imagine and feel this same green light,
The same green compassionate light,
Expanding beyond your body.
Expanding slowly outward,
First filling the space around you.
Maybe you are in your home,
Out in nature,
Maybe in a class with other students,
See this compassionate green light filling the space.
And from here,
See it expanding further to your local community,
Your friends,
Your family,
The people that you work with,
The people that get to experience you in day-to-day life,
Allow the feeling of compassion to expand to all.
Toward people that you have never met,
Toward communities experiencing hardship,
Toward the wider human family,
Knowing that your compassion is not here to fix the world,
It is simply offering the vibration,
The energy,
Of care and love.
May all beings find peace.
May all hearts feel supported.
May compassion guide our world.
And feeling your heart grow stronger when it gives freely.
If your hand has moved from your chest,
You can place it back on your heart.
And in this space,
Noticing now the difference,
The difference in the heart that came into this meditation,
And the heart that is here,
Present with me here now.
Notice how your breath has shifted.
Notice the warmth in your chest.
Knowing that your heart does not need to feel this open,
This warm,
This compassionate,
All the time,
To also be whole,
To also be complete.
But you get to remember what this state feels like,
And you get to return to it.
Breathing in to this openness,
And breathing out,
Expanding.
I will close this heart connection,
This heart opening,
With a word and a prayer for your heart.
A prayer that you can carry with you into your day,
Into all the spaces and places you get to show up.
Your heart came here to be present in its fullest expression.
And every moment you step out into the world with the intention to share this gifted open heart,
All those your heart touches are blessed to experience it.
They are blessed because they too get to remember,
Through your heart energy,
Through your open heartedness,
They too get to remember their gift,
Their heart.
So take this final moment here to feel the gift of your heart.
The gift that your open heart is.
The gift for yourself,
The gift for your clients,
Your family,
Your friends,
And the gift it is for the collective.
Breathing this in,
And letting go,
Expanding.
Beginning to bring your awareness back into your body.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Rolling your shoulders slightly,
Opening up that heart space chest,
Feeling it one more time.
And when you're ready,
You can softly open your eyes,
Carrying the sense of openness into either the rest of your day,
Your evening,
Or your night time rest.
