Welcome children to this guided meditation for kids to sleep,
Relax and imagine with unicorns and butterflies.
Imagine the enchanted woodland meadow where unicorns love to frolic freely and butterflies and fairies flit about between the flowers.
If you're ready to meet these divine creatures and have so much fun,
Then close your eyes and make sure you're all cosy and comfortable to let your imagination run free.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out.
That's great.
One more time,
A calm breath in and a relaxed breath out.
You may feel your body relaxing happily now as your breathing returns to its natural rhythm and you feel very curious about what you will discover.
Wonderful.
You're doing this meditation brilliantly already.
Now imagine a woodland forest of oak trees,
Wise and protective,
With hollows to hide in and strong branches to climb on.
Imagine walking through these oak trees and feeling the smooth bark of one of the strong tree trunks.
You notice the picture of a unicorn drawn into the bark of this tree.
It looks very old,
Like it was drawn many years ago.
Now imagine walking happily between these trees until now you come to a big open meadow hidden in the middle of the woodland.
This huge open meadow has rolling hills covered in green grass and fresh flowers and is protected by the ancient oak trees surrounding it.
This is a secret and safe place where unicorns love to frolic freely.
Can you feel the warm gentle breeze against your skin?
Can you smell the scent in the air of fresh flowers,
Of honeysuckle and jasmine?
You now notice there is a sparkling waterfall on one of the hills in the distance.
You look around in joy at how beautiful it is here.
Cherry blossom trees miraculously grow as well as delicate curling ferns and daisies.
The grass is the softest on earth,
Like a fluffy natural carpet of fresh green comfort.
As you walk barefoot on this soft dewy grass which is playfully tickling your toes,
You instantly feel connected and grounded here,
Like the healthy energies of the earth are welcoming you and relaxing you.
And now you see the most amazing creatures of all,
Two real life unicorns.
Wow!
They are relaxing in the sunshine between the flowers near an oak tree.
You take a deep breath and admire their golden horns.
You feel so blessed to be meeting real unicorns and you can feel their kind energy as you walk over to them.
These unicorns are magnificent,
Majestic creatures of pure peace and love and you feel very welcome in their presence.
As you reach out your hand,
They gently nuzzle their silky soft heads into you.
You just know that these unicorns are so very loyal and you can trust them with your deepest secrets.
You know that they are always there to protect you and take you to the most magical places you can dream of.
As you play with your unicorn friends,
You now see another incredible sight,
Fairies with beautiful butterfly wings flitting about between the flowers and giggling at you.
These are actually butterflies which became flutterbys.
Flutterbys are fairies with butterfly wings who flutter by like butterflies.
They are so gorgeous with their delicate wings of every colour and their pretty fairy faces and boots and outfits stitched from forest leaves and meadow petals.
They are having so much fun flying playfully about and laughing.
You pick a dandelion puff flower and blow on it as you wish that you could join them.
You watch as the wispy dandelion puffs float through the breeze.
Suddenly your unicorn friends magical horns light up and they both shine a unicorn horn vortex of rainbow light around you.
And you spin up and up into the air,
Spinning and shining and sparkling with radiant energy.
You feel so full of peace and love and happiness.
And now you notice that everything around you looks so much bigger.
But then you see that you are now in fact smaller.
You have become a flutterby,
A butterfly fairy with your own beautiful colourful butterfly wings.
Feeling so delighted to be able to fly,
You flit about between the flowers drinking their fresh nectar.
Your new flutterby friends dart about you in delight as you twirl in the grass,
Dance on toadstools,
Prance on mushrooms,
Fly up into the trees and perch on high branches.
Your heart feels so warm as you have so much fun.
You love giggling and laughing playfully as you play hide and seek between the petals and leaves with your new flutterby friends.
Together you sit on the magical unicorns backs and hold on to tufts of their white fur as the unicorns take you on a magical adventure.
You and your flutterby friends are now riding on the unicorns galloping so quickly through the open meadow.
The air rushes through your hair and you feel so joyful to be so free.
The lovely unicorns ride you to the enchanted waterfall high up on the hillside across the meadow in the far distance.
As you arrive at this stunning waterfall you gaze up at the enchanted waters flowing so peacefully.
With joy in your heart you now see there is a rainbow forming in the waterfall mist glowing with lovely colours.
You flit your gorgeous butterfly wings and together with the flutterby fairies you fly into the magical rainbow mist of the enchanted waterfall.
As you enjoy this precious place you are dancing and twirling and flitting about in the shining sparkles of pure water mist and enchantment.
This is the most beautiful and magnificent experience and you feel so grateful to be here.
In the shimmers of rainbow mist from the glorious waterfall you are so happy to be your wonderful self because you know that you are so very loved and that the most fantastic things are possible for you.

From flying high up in the air you see the crystal clear blue water pond and the stream at the base of the waterfall and you watch how the pristine water flows all the way down through the countryside winding through the meadow between the green rolling hills.
Feeling so full of joy and happiness you know that it is time now to return home.
You giggle and laugh and wave goodbye to your flutterby friends and fly down to meet the lovely unicorns in the meadow below.
They shine their radiant golden horns over you and with sparkles of enchantment you become the perfect person that is you.
Patting their silky soft mains to wish them thank you and to say goodbye.
The butterfly meadow starts to fade now as you gradually arrive back into your room and feel the soft warm covers around you in your cosy bed.
As you dream so peacefully and sleep so happily here.
You are so completely relaxed because you know that you are so safe and so loved.
Drifting even deeper now into your most blissful dreams.
You smile to yourself because you know that you can visit the butterfly meadow for magical unicorn adventures anytime you wish.
