Peace family,
Welcome to Happy Chrysalis and to this meditation I am safe to shine.
In this meditation you will make peace with past struggles and use them as the foundation of your growth rather than be limited by them.
If you have faced difficulty on your life's journey or have had challenges along the way,
It is understandable that you may feel as though you have to fight your way to your success.
However,
The first law of Tahuti,
The law of mentalism,
Teaches us that all is of the one mind.
That means that everything that has ever happened or will ever happen to you or anyone else in this entire universe is interconnected through a unified field.
Your journey can become unnecessarily challenging if you choose to reject this truth by seeing yourself as separate to any circumstance in your life or seeing it as working against you.
In truth,
The challenge or difficulty is part of your journey and if you choose to look at it from this perspective you can use it to serve your evolution rather than take away from it.
I invite you to make sure that you're comfortable in a seated position and your spine is upright,
Your sit bones are nice and connected either to the ground or to a chair and your feet are grounded.
Just making sure you're entirely comfortable and you won't be disturbed.
When you're ready,
Closing down your eyes and starting to withdraw your attention into your body through connecting to your breath.
Inhaling in through your nose,
Expanding into your chest,
Relaxing your shoulders and exhaling out through the mouth to release and let go.
Repeating that twice more,
Inhaling in through your nose,
Making sure your shoulder blades and your back are nicely relaxed and then exhaling through your mouth to release.
And once more at your own pace.
When you're ready,
I invite you to connect your hand to your heart.
So bring your hand to connect to the center of your chest and just allow the touch of your hand on your chest to move your body into a feeling and a sensation of safety and relaxation.
Allow your attention to melt down from your thinking mind into your heart center.
Notice how that connection and awareness feels as it moves inside into the heart,
The bridge between your physical body and your energetic field.
I invite you to breathe deeply into the center of your chest and trust that you are being guided to move beyond the things that may have been causing you pain.
And as you breathe,
Let your body and your body be the center of your chest.
And trust that you are being guided to move beyond the things that may have been causing you pain.
Just take a moment to land into that feeling of safety.
Now I invite you to call to mind the struggle or difficulty that you would like to release.
As you call this to mind,
Create space to feel the emotions that come up with this challenge.
Notice how your body may shift,
How your facial expression may change and just allow what comes up to be.
Notice how your body may shift,

Resist the urge to look away if you can and trust that you are being completely guided in safety to release these,
But first you must look at them.
Now as these emotions come up,
Imagine yourself in complete darkness trying to clear them away from around you.
You move your arms,
Trying to brush them off and swipe them aside.
But as you try to clear them away,
Nothing shifts.
And just as you start to feel tired or defeated by them,
You look above your head and notice a glimpse of light.
And now looking at this light,
Instead of trying to clear these thoughts,
Feelings and emotions from around you,
You raise your hands above your head to lift yourself up towards the light.
And although this light feels unfamiliar,
You continue to raise your body towards it out from the darkness,
Until you're standing up,
Looking at the light.
Until you're standing up above it.
And as you look down to where you had come from,
You realise that you were in fact a sunflower seed planted in the soil.
Notice how it feels to look down on the darkness from above,
Rather than from inside it trying to brush it aside.
And now from here you brush any remaining dirt off and continue to grow towards the sun.
As you grow,
You feel your roots embedded in the darkness deep,
But it is supporting you rather than holding you back.
Take a moment to notice this grounded and supported feeling that comes from recognising what you have come through and where you are going.
And where you are going.
Both connected through you.
Now with your next inhale,
Feel the energy of the earth come up through your roots from that darkness,
Up through your stem and up to your heart,
Feeling your heart open as you come out into bloom.
Take a breath in here and feel the openness that comes from this surrender,
And the energy coming up from the shadows driving you into bloom.
Now for the next few moments,
Notice how it feels to open up to your bright future,
While being supported by your past challenges.
And now as you look around you,
You notice the other sunflowers are around you doing the same.
Take a moment to feel that community supporting you and you supporting that community.
Others just like you.
Now with love and gratitude,
Take a moment to bring your hands into prayer in front of your heart.
And give thanks for your journey,
Giving thanks for what it has taught you,
How it has guided you,
The strength it has given you and anything else that came to mind.
And from here,
When you're ready,
Take another deep breath to open your eyes.
Take a moment to take in the environment around you.
Maybe have some water if you have it to hand.
And well done for taking this journey into your subconscious to explore how your challenges are serving your growth.
I'd encourage you to take a few moments to reflect on or journal about the emotions and thoughts and beliefs that came up for you and how they may have changed through that journey.
And you can always return to this meditation whenever you feel that you need some support in rising above past or present challenges.
