Welcome,

My name is Gus and this is a guided meditation for deep love,

Understanding and embracing of the self.

I would like to start this meditation by inviting you to thank yourself deeply and fully for taking the time to lie down,

To sit,

For taking a time for yourself.

Find a comfortable position,

Make as many adjustments as you need through this meditation and as you take your deep breath in,

You remind yourself that you are in a safe space,

That absolutely nothing is required from you now,

You remind yourself of all of the challenges you have overcome so far and you breathe and as you take a nice deep breath in,

You breathe in love,

Love towards yourself,

Acceptance towards yourself and you breathe out all of the doubts,

All of the uncertainties,

All of the parts of you that you do not approve and you breathe in a full breath of love,

A full breath of peace.

I would like you to focus your attention on your breathing pattern,

You don't have to change your breathing pattern right now,

Just observe the rise and the fall of your chest,

Notice what parts of your body are moving with your breath,

Feel the weight of your body against the surface,

Noticing how perfect your body really is.

Notice how your breathing is an avenue,

Is a tool to calm you down,

To bring you back into the centre of your being and you notice your breath,

You return to your breath,

The way your body moves to accommodate your breathing pattern really reminds you of the ocean,

The waves crashing into the shore,

Returning to the sea,

Returning to the vastness of the sea.

Always return to your breath,

Your thoughts will invite you,

They will invite you to join very exciting journeys,

However your thoughts also are part of you,

So you accept them,

You allow them to come into your attention,

You allow them to come in,

But you also allow them to go out,

You don't have to follow every thought,

Again just like the waves in the ocean,

Those thoughts come in and out and you return to your breathing,

In and out,

In and out,

Noticing the temperature of the air that you breathe in,

Noticing particular smells around you,

Noticing how full your lungs are as you breathe in and more importantly realize how relaxed you feel after every single breath out.

This is a moment for you and you only,

You have made certain decisions to be sitting or lying where you are right now,

Listening to this recording,

You have agency,

You are a conscious,

Beautiful being and it's now time for you to understand and accept yourself as such.

As humans we are constantly trying to be better,

To achieve more,

To be a better worker,

A better wife,

A better husband,

A better son or a better daughter and we forget to acknowledge everything we have already achieved,

All of the friends we've already made,

All of the smiles that we have put on so many people's faces,

Everything that we have given psychologically,

Materials,

Everything.

It is time to look at ourselves with compassion,

With understanding,

With pride.

I would like you to visualize yourself standing in a beautiful beach during a beautiful summer day.

You are looking your best physically and mentally,

You seem happy,

Self actualized,

You found your place,

You are complete and now I want you to walk towards yourself in this visualization without fear,

Without holding back,

Without thinking of the past and specially without judgment.

I would like you to walk towards yourself and hug yourself very,

Very tight.

Embrace yourself and in this hug I would like you to show,

I would like you to transfer,

I would like you to emanate love,

Understanding,

If you feel emotional you can cry,

Cry it out,

Let it burst out of you,

All of this love that you have for yourself,

All of this understanding that you have towards yourself because you are a beautiful being,

You are strong,

Look at how many challenges you have overcome,

You are a true warrior,

You are a true warrior.

Enjoy this hug,

Feel your breath melting away and breathe.

And as you take a nice deep breath in,

You feel much more in tune,

You feel more understood and more loved,

You feel like you are at the right place at the right time and you have a very fine balance between wanting to be better and judging yourself for not being the ideal self that you want to be and wisdom is what lies in between those two.

Hopefully you will able through this meditation to remind yourself how much and how deeply you accept and understand your own actions,

Your personality,

Your achievements and your light.

I invite you to carry this wisdom and this new found appreciation into your routine,

Into your daily lives as you slowly return to your normal state by taking a deep breath in,

Moving your fingers and wiggling your toes.

Remember what you were about to do before you started this meditation and thinking about your future plans for today.
