The phrase comfort zone was first introduced by management thinker Judith Bartwick in her work Danger in the Comfort Zone in 1991 The comfort zone refers to a behavioral state in which a person functions in a state of low anxiety Using a restricted range of behaviors to maintain a consistent level of performance Typically without perceiving any substantial risk Now we all love our comfort zone,
But there is one problem Being in that comfort zone.
There isn't much space for people to reach new heights of success and productivity Your performance will plateau you will stop growing and evolving which is totally opposite of what humans do Welcome back to another episode of meditate manifest and grow.
I'm your host curry So now the question is how can we come out of our comfort zone and move to the growth zone?
To understand this there are four different stages that will lead you from comfort to growth zone First is comfort zone This is where you feel safe and secure.
You feel like everything is in control Your anxiety is at minimum.
The problem here is that it leads you to boredom in other words You will be stale We all love that security and safety and to have that comfort in our lives But sometimes the comfort that you have is not gonna help you to move further if that's your goal But if you're happy with your life and you're happy being in that comfort zone,
You don't have to move But let's say you have decided to come out of your comfort zone Because you want to change your life or certain parts of your life You show some courage and that will lead you to the next zone which is called fear zone So what is fear zone?
Fear zone is where you are ready or at least you want to improve or change something But you are affected by other people's opinion Think about it every time we try to learn something we go to the gym for the first day We start a new class.
We learn a new skill We are scared what other people will think or sometimes we are just scared of the change of the unknown We'll find excuses why we shouldn't do this Why we shouldn't learn this new skill because we are so comfortable in our world in that comfort zone But when you are in that fear zone and you will try to do something and you will face challenges Then you will question yourself in this zone you lack self-confidence I remember when I started my journey when I started putting myself out there.
I Was scared because I didn't have that confidence.
I didn't know how to talk how to teach people I knew a lot of things but that was just for me.
That was helping me,
But I didn't know how to Explain this knowledge this experience to other people so I had to learn I had to make my first video I had to record my first episode.
I had to do my first coaching session.
I had to do my first live event and Do you think that my first video or my event or my coaching session was great?
No,
It was probably really bad But I had to do that.
I had to take that first step.
I had to Be in that fear zone so that I know how does it feel how does it look like and Once you're in this fear zone Where you are still deciding you're still trying to find excuses But you have already started you have moved from comfort zone to fear zone And then you will move in the next zone.
That is called learning zone in The learning zone you deal with more challenges and more problems you acquire new skills and you extend your comfort zone This is where you are consistent.
You're showing up every day.
You're learning new things and now maybe you start to enjoy that process You have moved from that comfort zone to fear zone and in this learning zone You have already dedicated your time and energy and this is the time when you decide that if you want to continue doing what you're Doing or you want to quit But after this learning period now,
You will have a new comfort zone and you're ready to find success Learning zone.
It's all about from its name.
You can take the clue It's all about learning when you're getting exposed to this new information when you are reprogramming your subconscious mind taking all that information In now you are probably ready for the next zone and that is the growth zone This is where you apply what you have learned This is where you find your purpose live your dreams find aspirations and set new goals in The growth zone you do the impossible things that you used to think were not possible in the past when you were in your comfort zone and Now you're already doing those things This is the manifestation of your thoughts of your feelings of your habits of your behaviors Now you are living in that reality and in the same way.
This is how manifestation works action is the most important part and One thing that you really need and is beneficial is your self-awareness The more self-aware you are the more easy it becomes to be in each zone in Reality and from my personal experience the journey from the comfort zone to growth zone is not linear You will find yourself feeling scared and some days you would want to give up in those days Seeking comfort and sometimes not moving further is completely.
Okay But make sure you are clear on your why Intentions because that is the driving force that will keep you aligned with your vision If you have some goals and you want to manifest that dream life.
I Want you to come out of that comfort zone?
Because there is no growth you have to do the unknown.
