Transcript

Welcome to this present moment space.

And thank you for taking the time,

Care,

And consideration to give yourself this gift of presence right now.

Please sit with your feet flat on the floor.

This will aid you in grounding your energy at this time.

Remind yourself here in this moment,

Listening to this recording,

Sitting in this space,

That everything is okay here and now.

I invite you to place your left hand over your heart and feel the subtle pulse of the heartbeat with your hand.

Take a slow,

Mindful breath in to this heart center.

And remind yourself that you are here and you are not going anywhere.

In moments of drama,

In relationship,

In situations of breakup,

It's important that we reassure ourselves that we are not abandoning ourselves.

Feel the feet on the floor.

Feel the heartbeat into your palm.

Breathe mindfully,

Anchoring yourself into your body even more.

And this present moment,

As you exhale,

Release the past.

Release the toxic situation that you are leaving behind.

With each exhale,

Release back that person's energy into the universe to be blessed and transformed.

Release them with love.

Bless and release.

And then as you inhale,

Call your own energy back to you,

Blessed and transformed.

As you breathe in,

Calling your energy back,

Feel yourself coming home to yourself into the safety of your body.

To your sovereign home.

And notice in your chakra system where you feel the most heaviness.

Pain,

Grief.

It may be in the heart,

The solar plexus,

The sacral chakra below the belly button,

Or maybe the throat chakra.

And just be the observer of that sensation.

And as you are ready,

I would like you to cut the cord to this person.

Use whatever method works for you.

And imagine that cord cut,

All energetic ties,

Separate between you and this connection that no longer serves you.

You may want to imagine cutting on both the front and back of the body.

As you bless and release this person.

As the cords fall away,

Ask that the energy be blessed and transformed.

And allow yourself to feel whatever is present here right now without judgment.

Just with compassion.

It might help to speak to yourself in the same way a loving mother would speak to their child if they fell down and scraped their knee.

You could say,

I know it hurts sweetie,

And it's okay.

I'm here for you.

I will not abandon you.

I love you.

And in this way,

We can care for ourselves in a healthy way so that we can take the first steps to healing.

If it feels good to you,

You can imagine this person and you can put your hands in prayer position over your heart.

Bow and say Namaste.

Thank you.

I release you.

And whatever emotions are here and now,

Allow them to be having the awareness that you are here for yourself right now.

And everything is okay in this present moment.

I wish you peace.

I wish you love and strength to take care of yourself first.

Namaste.

Not only for "romantic relationships break ups". I like that the focus in this visualization meditation is mainly on the Self and less on the other person. I used this to release residues of the hurt after friendships, that ended without a clear cut (but it was slowly clear that the other part lost interest in maintaining the friendship) -even if that happened years ago, and even though I already long "let them go" in my mind, since I came to understand and see how we were only ment for one another "for a part of our life journeys". It was situational. Friends for that season. I know, honor and cherish that already. Still, there is a difference between knowledge and getting all of the emotional body in board. I noticed lately that a part of my heart was still feeling abandoned/ rejected in a way. However small, that clinging to the past/ wanting things to be different, it causes suffering... So this meditation was a gentle and good way to further untie those energetic bounds. I will do it again whenever needed. I've done similar meditations in the past, it's nice to experience how each one is so individual and I believe it is a process and practice that we sometimes need to repeat, until we feel lighter and free. Hope this might encourage others to try this meditation, even for other relationships than romantic relationships :) Namaste ✨
