So I was thinking about when rain meets the ocean and naturally I became water in the form of rain and the ocean because I wanted to experience what it felt like for both of them to meet.
And they're both water,
Yes,
But they exist in different forms.
Like soulmates they meet,
Rain in the ocean.
A familiarity,
The feeling like they've met before but can't quite place from where.
A soul tie.
They touch for a brief moment,
Passing by,
Experiencing one another,
Rain crashing into the ocean.
A spark of deep recognition,
A flicker of intense inner knowing,
They have a piece of one another within them,
Like souls from the same tribe,
Confusion and relief living together when water finally and once again meets water.
I shifted away from being the ocean and the rain and I became the observer.
I thought,
Is this what the universe sees when soulmates pass one another?
As if the higher power can see what we cannot.
The connection,
The direction,
The intensity.
Two parts of the same piece finding each other again.
Maybe for the first time in Seoul time,
Or perhaps the last.
Like a mom watching the life of her child unfold,
Passing through the phases she had already passed.
Knowing what will unfold,
Yet accepting it is the child that must experience for himself.
The universe watching water meet water.
Souls meet one another.
You meet me.
Me meet her.
Her meet him.
He meets she,
Or we all just reign in the ocean and the observer passing,
Meeting,
And watching.
Existing together we.
I don't know,
But next time I meet a soul sister,
Mate,
Brother,
I'll catch them.
Like I am the ocean,
I'll fall like the rain.
I'll accept our fate like the observer.
We're all just passing through anyway.
You.
Me.
Water.
Life.
Aren't we all the same?
I wonder what the observer said when I dropped into the ocean of you.
Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoyed.
