Hi guys,
Welcome back to another meditation.
For today I just want you to get comfortable whether you're sitting down or lying down.
This meditation is focused on coming back to yourself,
Recognizing your own energy and feeling safe within.
So you can gently begin to find your breath,
Just noticing how it lives within you.
Connecting with your inhale,
Letting it rise,
Holding it gently at the top and then exhaling out,
Becoming an observer to your breath.
Notice where there may be tightness and where it flows.
Allow yourself to slow down to come back into the home of your body.
If any thoughts arise,
Let's welcome them without any judgment.
The goal of meditating and coming back to yourself is not to stop the thoughts,
Is not to use control,
But it's a time to show yourself unconditional love,
To be accepting and compassionate.
So continue sinking your attention inward,
Drawing your attention back to the breath.
When you're ready,
Take a big inhale in,
Hold your breath at the top,
And as you exhale let it all out,
Feeling your belly button pull in towards your spine.
Let your natural breath sink back.
What does your energy feel like right now?
Stepping away from the outside world,
Stepping away from your environment and your surroundings,
How does it feel within you right now?
Do you feel soft?
Do you feel energized?
You don't have to use a label,
But just feel.
We spend a lot of our days trying to distract or numb,
Whether it be intentional or not.
Right now you're allowed to focus all of your attention on you.
Use this time to fill up your own cup,
To recognize and honor your inner energy,
The way your heart beats,
The way your mind rests.
You can gently begin to return to your body.
You can begin by sliding your fingertips against one another,
Maybe pressing your thumb into your other fingers,
Maybe bringing your hands up to your arms and giving them a nice squeeze,
Maybe wrapping your arms around your body for a nice hug.
Then you can slowly begin to open your eyes to come back to the space around you,
Moving slowly and relaxed,
Noticing the space,
The colors,
The feelings,
Maybe any sounds.
Just gently reintegrate yourself back and don't forget to reconnect to yourself,
Your sacred energy throughout the day.
You are deserving and you are love.
Namaste.
