A meditation to honor 2023 and bring in the new year 2024,

But to also honor the full moon that just happened the 26th.

This is a meditation to admire all that we've been through this past year,

All the accomplishments,

All the shortcomings,

Even if all we did was make it through.

This is a chance to honor that,

To honor life itself,

And bring in this new year gently with love,

With grace,

And then manifest all that we desire.

Everything we want to happen,

Not just this year,

But for life in general.

The next steps in your journey,

Everything you don't want to bring with you into 2024.

The habits,

The patterns,

The cycles that are so tough to break.

This is a chance right here for you to break that.

An invitation to leave this world behind and step into the quantum,

Step into stillness,

Into presence,

Where we can recreate,

Affirm,

And manifest the life that we want,

The love that we want,

The success that we want,

The prosperity,

The wealth,

The kindness,

The abundance.

To just flow with ease throughout this next year,

No matter what comes.

Gaining the ability to go through life's ebbs and flows,

The ups and downs,

With a new perspective,

With a gentle perspective,

In the way we view the world,

In the way we view our neighbors,

Our family and friends.

I don't know about you,

But that sounds pretty nice to me.

I'm ready for it.

So whenever you're ready,

Go ahead and find a comfortable seated position and posture,

Or you can lay down,

Whatever feels most comfortable for you right now.

We're going to begin with a couple rounds of breathing,

Where we're going to take a full inhale into the belly,

Into the chest,

And we're going to hold it at the top for a count of four.

And then we're going to exhale,

Really blowing out that air,

All the way for a count of six.

Now with each one,

We're going to go six first for the exhale,

Then we're going to go seven,

And then we're going to go eight for the exhale,

Okay?

Your inhale is only going to be to a count of four.

All right,

So let's do this together.

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Holding it at the top for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Now big exhale,

Three,

Four.

Keep it going,

Five,

Six.

Now deep inhale into the belly for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Holding it in at the top.

Now big release,

Exhale gently with ease.

Keep it going,

Seven.

Now big inhale again,

Holding it at the top,

And big exhale to count of eight.

Five,

Six,

Seven,

Eight.

And again,

Inhale,

Count of four.

Hold it at the top for four,

And we're going to exhale,

Count of six.

Inhale through the belly,

See in the breath,

Expand the belly,

Going into your chest where you're holding it at the top,

And then you're exhaling,

Releasing,

Releasing the tension all the way to a count of seven with ease.

Another big inhale into the belly,

Last one,

Biggest one yet,

Into the chest,

Holding it at the top for four,

And big release,

And eight.

And return to a normal breathing,

Just noticing your breath going in,

Going out,

Moving gently with ease,

Noticing the depth of each breath.

During this meditation,

There may be sounds all around you,

Close by or far away throughout this practice.

Just allow them to pass by without giving them too much of your attention.

Just like with your thoughts,

They'll be present and continuing to pop up throughout this practice.

Allow them to pass,

Allow them to be without taking too much of your main focus and attention.

Now become aware of your posture,

Aware of your breath,

Aware of your body,

And let your awareness scan through your body,

Just noticing if there's any areas of tension or tightness,

Bringing a gentle awareness to these areas,

Loosening them up with each breath.

Bring your attention to your eyebrows,

Softening your eyes,

Allowing your brows to be at ease,

Unhinging the jaw,

Relaxing and making room for a light smile.

Now see if you can relax your shoulders,

Letting them fall away from your ears at ease,

Feeling the breath flow,

Feeling from the inside out the movement of energy,

Softening your body,

Letting go with each breath,

Letting your hands rest in an easily effortless way.

Bring your breath out of your mind and let it come into your body.

Feel your body from the inside out at ease with no tension,

Just being and letting the perception of the outside world,

The 3D world,

Fade away and beginning to invite in a sense of presence,

Of stillness and honor the full moon this week.

Let's bring to mind an image of the full moon or a memory of you gazing at this full moon.

Imagine the face of the moon or even just sense the bright light and the shining energy of this full moon,

Noticing how it may feel and connecting it to your breath,

Returning to your breath and with each breath imagine opening at the crown,

Opening yourself to receive this bright full moon energy,

Entering your body,

Feeling it wash down your body,

Filling you up with this divine cosmic energy.

Let this moonlight fill your whole body and as it reaches the lower parts of your body,

See it come out and go down into the earth like the roots of a tree,

Down to the crown,

Down to the core.

As you see it come back up and this cycle continues.

With each inhale,

You inhale and fill up your being with light,

Washing away anything that no longer serves you and with each exhale it flows downward and enters into the earth,

Grounding you and creating a channel to this divine life force.

Right now you are directly connected to source,

A conduit of this light and loving energy.

Feel the warmth enter your entire being and sit with this feeling,

Allowing this cycle to continue for a while without opposing anything,

Without trying to control anything.

Just at ease with your breath,

Witnessing what's going on,

Witnessing this light and the ebb and flow coming through you.

Allow this feeling of the divine light from this full moon stay present,

Flowing through your body throughout this meditation.

When your mind wanders,

Gently bring it back to the image of this full moon,

Into this light flowing in and out with your breath.

Let's take a deep breath,

Deep inhale into the belly,

Into the chest and exhale.

Another deep inhale and exhale.

Exhale,

Sigh,

Release,

Bring your mind into the present moment.

Begin to bring to mind some things that you're proud of that you achieved this year,

Big or small.

Achievements are life-changing things.

Something small like setting boundaries,

Maybe you learned to cook something this year,

Maybe you said no to more people than you would have expected,

To people that don't serve you,

Maybe you started a new hobby,

Maybe you noticed that you were just smiling more and maybe bigger accomplishments like saying yes to a new opportunity that frightened you or maybe you quit a job,

Maybe you moved to a new city or a new house.

The big transitions throughout this year that you went through.

I'll give you a moment to list these things,

Take your time and just allow yourself to be proud of everything that you've done,

Be proud of every day you lived.

These aren't miracles that you lived,

Feel confident and brag a little to yourself because you've made it through and if you feel like you have no accomplishments because all you did this year was make it through,

All you did was survive,

That's okay.

If all you did was survive,

That is an accomplishment in itself.

So as you create this list,

Think about the things you survived through,

Feel the emotions that came along with these achievements,

Feel the happiness,

Excitement,

The joy and the thrill,

Feel the emotions of all your achievements and remember this feeling,

Place it in your body because it'll only manifest more excitement,

More achievements into your life.

Feel that sense of relief from making it through the situations that you thought you wouldn't,

Making it through to the next day,

Being proud of where you are today because the person that you are right now is listening to this meditation,

Listening to this meditation,

It's not the same person that you were at this time last year,

It's not the same person that you were just yesterday,

You've evolved and you've grown.

As you think about the last few,

Let's take a deep breath and let's exhale,

Taking a moment to be proud,

Allowing these feelings to resonate.

It doesn't matter if your list is long or if it's short,

Know that you did so well this year,

No matter what your year looked like,

Be proud and feel gratitude for still being here,

Breathing.

If you're still roaming in the memories,

Bring yourself back to your breath,

Back into the present moment and now next bring into mind the things you don't want to bring into the new year,

Any limiting beliefs,

Any people,

Any habits,

What are the things you are releasing and leaving behind in 2023?

The fear of showing up,

The fear of being yourself,

The scarcity mindset,

The people pleasing,

Old habits and patterns you don't want anymore,

Scan these over and in your mind's eye imagine a paper and a journal that you're writing in,

Writing this list of everything that no longer serves you,

Everything that's not going to serve the person that you're meant to be in 2024.

Imagine taking that paper,

Ripping it out and crumbling it up and setting it in a river stream,

A river stream that flows directly out into the ocean,

Watching it flow,

Release into the ethers and as it flows through the water the further it goes the less you see it and the less you see it the more you feel yourself letting go,

Releasing a part of you that no longer exists here in the present,

Releasing the habits,

Releasing the shadows,

They no longer exist here in you and once again feel the emotions associated with what you're releasing,

It may feel tender as it gets further and further.

It may bring up some remnants of pain or shadows or experiences that you've been through this past year,

Just breathe into whatever arises,

Feel what it is like to feel small,

What it feels like when you are people pleasing or not speaking up for yourself,

Not speaking up when you know you've had things you wanted to say,

Feeling those limiting beliefs that you've placed on yourself because of a friend or family,

Because of social media,

Because of fear of judgment,

Recognize what you no longer want to feel going into this new year and with each breath imagine these parts of you leaving your body,

Leaving your mind,

Leaving your mind,

Leaving your soul and flowing out,

Flowing out into the ethers just like this paper.

It's important to release these with grace,

Having gratitude for the awareness you have to even notice this,

You are growing and you are stepping into the person you've always dreamed of becoming,

So release these with love and let it bring a smile to your face for recognizing what no longer serves you,

For these all at one point served you and aided you in becoming who you are now.

Limiting beliefs are sometimes there to make you feel safe,

The ego is here to make us feel protected,

So when we release don't do it with any animosity or hatred or resentment,

Release knowing you are inviting in new experiences and patterns that would better serve you at this point in your life.

Take a deep inhale and exhale,

Sigh out,

And exhale,

Sigh out,

Release.

Envisioning these things leaving you and coming back into this present moment,

Centering and grounding yourself with your breath,

Feeling this light continuing to flow throughout your body,

Throughout your entire being,

Feeling the tingling and the vibrating sensations.

Now let's move to what we are calling into this new year.

What do you want?

What do you desire?

The relationships with family,

Friends,

And partners,

Your job or career,

Your business,

The money and wealth,

The hobbies and passions,

Your health,

Your wellness,

Your spirituality.

What do you want?

What do you desire?

There are no limitations so go big because here everything is possible.

Imagine creating the dream reality you want to live in,

Letting go of the outside world and creating your own.

What is it that you want for yourself?

What do you want for this life to look like?

Nothing is too big.

Be courageous,

Be brave.

What beliefs are you reinforcing this year?

Maybe the courage to show up,

To speak up for yourself,

To do the things that serve you and your potential,

To feel and align yourself with these feelings of abundance,

Of prosperity in everything that you do,

Standing unabashedly in yourself,

Align yourself with what you feel and see yourself living this dream life,

Having your dream car and the dream location.

Put yourself there right now because this already exists in your life and right now we're just shortening the distance,

Encouraging it to walk towards us just as we're walking towards it,

Attracting it.

So how does this make you feel to wake up there,

To drive in this new reality?

What is the excitement that you have?

Where are you going?

The joys,

The passion,

The power,

The spirit in yourself.

Smile,

Laugh,

Do a little happy dance because this is you right now.

You are the wealth you desire,

You are the success that you chase.

Believe you're already living in it and it will unfold before your very eyes.

Living in this mindset is what brings it into reality.

So stay with it and keep going over it,

Keep replaying it even if it's just one little experience that you want next year.

Every little detail from brushing your teeth,

To the food that you're eating,

To your body that you see in the mirror,

To the things that you smell and can touch,

Be excited and embody this feeling.

Take a deep breath and hold it in at the top,

Allowing it to flow throughout your body just like this light,

Bringing it closer and exhale,

Releasing anything that isn't going to guide you closer to this higher self,

Releasing anything that isn't going to guide you towards this life that you want.

And notice your breathing,

Notice this natural rhythm,

When it's calm and excited for life,

What do you feel?

The buzzing,

The vibrations inspired,

The tingling or chills from these visions,

Allow it to resonate because when you open your eyes this will be your new reality.

Step into the person that you've always dreamed of being,

Because right now in this present moment you are him,

You are her,

Who's there with you in this life.

See who's in your circle,

See who's in your community.

Just take a moment to sit with yourself and if you feel nothing at all that's perfectly fine,

If it's hard for you to bring these visions into your mind's eye that's okay,

Just allow the feelings to resonate,

Just allow this stillness to resonate,

This presence.

And as we come to an end,

I'm going to leave you with a question,

Don't try to answer it,

Just sit with it and whatever comes to mind first,

Embody it,

Feel it,

Feel it.

That question is,

What is your intention for the new year?

It could be one word or a clear sentence,

Whatever comes to you,

Whatever feels right,

Hold on to that and if nothing comes up that's okay,

The question is the answer.

So live with this question,

Breathe into this question and feel all the potential that comes with it,

All the unknown abundance that is waiting to unfold within this question.

And just know that if this doesn't come to be,

Trust and surrender that something greater will come.

So store this question,

Store this intention if you have it in your heart or somewhere in your body so you always have a place to come back to throughout this year,

So you always have some curiosity to follow this year.

Live with this question and every day connect to the feeling of what you're calling in,

Let it resonate through everything that you do,

Every choice,

Not all days will be perfect and this is okay because you are divine and you are exactly where you're meant to be,

Moving at the pace that you're meant to.

At any given moment the universe is giving you the best result possible,

So trust that this is happening in divine timing,

Trust in the signs and the impulses,

Most of all surrender because you're being guided always.

The universe sees your vision and it will give this to you or something better that is meant for you as long as you continue to follow your intuition.

Surrender at any given moment,

You can place one hand over your belly and one hand over your heart,

Feel yourself breathing,

Feel your heart beating in this present moment,

Allowing these feelings to resonate and repeat to yourself,

All that I desire is already manifested.

I let go of how it comes to me,

Why it comes to me,

When it comes to me and I focus on living this and I focus on living this desire now as I know the universe will bring this reality to me in divine timing.

I release,

I surrender,

I let go,

I trust and so it is.

You can open your eyes,

Begin wiggling your fingers and toes if you haven't already.
