Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
Let's take a moment to get comfy.
Close your eyes.
And begin to slowly drop in.
Giving yourself permission to let go of the day for a moment.
Surrender any expectations.
Rest away from any to-do list or agenda.
And feel yourself stepping into this presence.
Arriving here,
Coming to a full awareness of where you are.
And tapping into your senses to allow them to bring you into the now.
Notice all the sounds that you hear.
Maybe some mental chatter still happening.
Notice what you smell.
Where the air enters the body and where it leaves the body.
And then start to notice the weight of your body.
All the parts of you softening into the surface beneath you.
And then take a moment to do a little check-in on how you feel.
Noticing where you're at today,
Your quality of mind,
Quality of presence.
If there's any tightness or heaviness in the body.
Any stale or stagnant energy,
Any negative thought patterns or thought loops on repeat.
Notice where you feel that in the body or in the mind.
Knowing that whatever you feel,
It is okay.
And when you're ready,
Take a deep breath in.
And then slowly exhale,
Let the outside world fade into the background.
Take another full breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let everything taking up too much space in the mind or body slowly go out of the body.
Settling within yourself.
You are here.
And in this moment,
You are okay.
Notice how there's nothing else to do right now but exist.
There's nowhere else to be.
And now you can fully be present here trusting that you are exactly where you're meant to be in this moment.
So feel your body settling.
For the support beneath you.
Notice the warmth gathering throughout the body.
And notice the quiet pulse of your heartbeat.
The gentle rhythm of your breath.
Let this be a space where you finally don't have to hold it all together.
Allow the ground to hold you.
Cradle you.
And take a slow breath in through the nose.
And a long,
Steady,
Gentle breath out.
Fully exhaling till you can't exhale anymore.
And then with your next breath,
Create this space for something new to enter,
Breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Imagine the day gently loosening its grip upon you.
The conversations.
The responsibilities,
The plans,
The expectations,
Allow them all to drift a little further into the background.
For these next few moments,
They no longer need your attention.
Imagine with each exhale you begin to surrender and let go a bit more.
Notice how often life quietly asks us to become more.
Notice how life has maybe asked you to be more productive.
More accomplished.
More certain,
More prepared.
There seems to always be another mountain to climb.
Another list to complete.
Another version of ourselves waiting somewhere in the future.
And while growth is beautiful.
Sometimes the deepest healing comes from no longer asking ourselves to become anything at all.
So for these next few moments.
.
.
Allow yourself to simply be and exist.
And notice what that feels like.
To just be here fully within yourself,
No burden,
No weight,
Nothing to do,
No roles to play.
You can just exist.
And I bring your awareness back to your breath.
Notice that each inhale arrives naturally without striving.
And every exhale leaves without resistance.
And every exhale leaves without resistance.
In this present moment,
The breath never rushes.
It never compares itself.
It simply trusts the rhythm of life moving through it.
And perhaps there is something to learn from that right now.
So as you continue breathing deeply,
Begin to feel the weight of your body settling more deeply into the earth.
Feel your heels becoming heavy,
Your legs softening,
Your hips releasing,
Your back widening,
Your shoulders melting downwards,
And even the muscles in your face and around your eyes begin to soften.
You are being received fully by the moment that you're in.
Imagine now.
That you are lying in the center of a wide open meadow.
A vast green field.
And above you hear stretches an endless evening sky.
Clouds drift slowly overhead.
Wild grasses move gently with the breeze.
Maybe somewhere in the distance,
Birds sing their final songs before nightfall.
Really paint the scenery,
Place yourself there as if you are really there right now.
360 degrees around you,
Notice what it feels like to be here in this open meadow.
And notice.
.
.
How nothing in this landscape is rushing.
The flowers do not bloom faster because another flower is blooming beside them.
The trees do not compare their heights.
The river does not question whether it is flowing well enough.
And the moon above you never apologizes for appearing in phases.
Everything belongs by simply being what it is.
And right here,
Right now,
So do you.
To feel life as it is.
Feel this moment as it is.
And let this settle into your body,
Not as an idea,
But as a sensation.
As though the earth itself is whispering you have always belonged here.
I invite you to bring one hand to your heart if that feels comfortable or just bring your attention there to your heart space and feel its quiet rhythm.
Acknowledge that this heart has carried you through every season of your life.
It has celebrated with you,
Grieved with you,
Loved,
Broken,
Healed,
All without asking for recognition.
It has continued to show up in miraculous ways for you.
Your lungs breathe for you.
Your body adapts for you.
Your nervous system does its best to keep you safe.
Perhaps your body has never asked you to be more.
Perhaps your body has only ever asked you to listen.
So take a slow,
Deep,
Expansive breath in and allow yourself to hear that.
And with your next breath,
Begin to imagine a warm,
Goading light gathering around your body.
Coming out from the heart space.
It's soft like the final light of the setting sun.
It surrounds you completely.
There is nothing you need to reach for,
Nothing you need to earn.
Simply rest inside this warmth.
Like your own cocoon of quiet warm light.
Feel it moving around you.
Feel it supporting you from every direction.
As a life itself.
Is saying you may rest now.
Let this light be a reminder that you do not have to prove your worth here.
Let it be a reminder that you are welcome exactly as you are.
And then feel those words move through the body more than the mind.
Notice where they land,
How your jaw softens,
Perhaps your belly releases,
Perhaps your breath deepens all on its own.
So often we believe that abundance waits somewhere ahead,
After the next accomplishment,
The next milestone,
The next version of ourselves.
But here,
Nature tells a different story.
A seed does not become worthy once it becomes a tree.
Its potential has always lived within it.
The tree is simply the unfolding of what was already there.
You are no different.
Within your stillness lives creativity.
Within your rest lives wisdom.
Within your enoughness lives infinite possibility.
And not because you are doing more,
But because you are no longer using your energy to become someone other than yourself.
Instead of reaching outside of yourself,
You come home to being within.
Feel how much spaciousness there is in simply allowing yourself to be.
Notice how much space there is to choose,
To release,
To be.
There is nothing missing from this moment.
There's nothing missing from you.
In this presence,
There is only breath.
There is only this quiet unfolding within this awareness.
So rest here for a few more moments,
Breathing naturally.
Allowing your heart to remain open to receiving.
And know that you are enough while you are growing.
You are enough while you are healing.
You are enough while you are uncertain.
And you are enough even when you are resting.
Perhaps it is from this place of enoughness that your most authentic life naturally begins to bloom.
That is in the present moment where we create our potential for a wonderful life.
Take another slow nourishing breath in.
And a long,
Complete breath out.
And give yourself permission to carry this feeling with you into the rest of your evening,
Into your dreams.
And may tomorrow not be lived from the belief that you must become more.
May it be lived from the quiet knowing that who you are in this very breath is already enough.
And from this place.
May everything you create grow not from striving or force,
But from the abundance of simply being.
Taking.
A few more grounding breaths here.
Breathing in gratitude and appreciation for all that you are,
All that you have.
And letting that breath reach all the edges of your body into all the spaces of overwhelm.
Until there is nothing left but this appreciation,
This presence,
And this breath.
And as you start to feel the surface beneath you once more,
Notice the quiet around you,
The warmth within you.
And when you're ready,
You can gently begin to flutter your eyes open.
The light in me honors the light in you,
My friend.
Blessings for your journey.
Blessings for your life.
Namah Shivaya.
Namaste,
My friend.
