Welcome to Life Lessons and Laughter with your host,
Glenn Ambrose.
Hello,
Welcome,
Welcome,
Welcome.
How's everybody doing today?
Uh,
So today I don't have,
I guess,
Is,
Is many formulated thoughts or fully formulated,
I should say.
Um,
Around this.
So God only knows where it's going to go.
So,
Um,
I'm talking about worthiness.
Are you worthy?
Are you worthy?
Do you deserve,
You know,
And,
Um,
I was contemplating this the other night because there's something about it,
The,
The energy of,
Of,
Um,
Being worthy feels like,
Or deserving,
It kind of feels like an egoic,
Um,
Dualistic word,
I guess,
You know,
Which,
Which here on earth,
You know,
Everything is dualistic,
Everything has two sides,
So it's kind of,
Okay,
Well,
If you're worthy,
Then therefore there's somebody who isn't worthy.
If you're deserving,
Then there's somebody that isn't deserving.
Right.
So that's the dualistic nature that I'm kind of picking up on with this word.
And like,
When we're talking about being worthy on our spiritual path,
You know,
I think a lot of us have found out that the conditioning that we grew up with through an unconscious society has left most people,
Um,
With low self-esteem,
Low self-love.
And it's something that we all need to work on,
Rise ourself,
You know,
Raise our self-esteem,
Raise our self-love.
So this is kind of where we come in,
You know,
Where we're like,
Okay.
You know,
I need to feel worthy of something if I can embody it,
If I can be it,
Though,
You know,
We're talking about,
You know,
Am I worthy of God's love?
Am I deserving of God's love?
Am I worthy of abundance?
If you don't feel like you're worthy of abundance and you can't have it,
You know,
If on an unconscious level,
You don't think you deserve to have abundance,
Then you're not going to acquire abundance because you don't feel you deserve it.
So on an unconscious level,
On a conscious level,
Basically everybody wants money,
Like,
You know,
Everybody understands that money to a certain point can make your life easier.
Right.
It's not as dramatic,
Um,
As people think,
But up to a certain point,
It can make your life easier and it can actually help you experience more happiness because you're not using all your energy and resources to try to just make ends meet,
You know,
And it frees you up to spend your energy more in alignment with your purpose and helping others and doing all kinds of wonderful things,
You know,
So,
So this,
This worthiness aspect we've got to,
You know,
Is,
Is a big part of our,
Our spiritual work,
Right?
We,
We have to feel that we're worthy.
So,
But as I was contemplating that word,
Like I said,
It kind of became apparent that there was an egoic aspect to it,
Or it seems that there might be.
I'll phrase it that way.
And it kind of reminded me of the podcast that I did on,
Um,
Pride,
You know,
Like being proud of yourself.
We use that term.
And most of the time,
I think we mean it in a good way.
You want to be proud of yourself,
You know,
But when you dissect that word pride,
Um,
You know,
It's one of the seven deadly sins.
So there you go.
Um,
You know,
You can go listen to that podcast as well,
Of course,
For more on that,
But I kind of see it the same way.
It's,
It's like,
We talk about pride and,
And it's good to have pride in,
In a job well done and proud,
Proud of your child and,
And proud of,
Um,
Even yourself,
You know,
But yeah,
There's an egoic root on to that underneath.
So we can experience the same energy of pride in a beneficial way without attaching the egoic aspect.
So this is where I am.
Um,
I,
I hope you guys are following me.
I know it's kind of,
Ooh,
Kind of out there a little bit,
But this is kind of the same type of thing that I was getting when I was contemplating the,
The,
The worthiness,
Because sometimes when,
Not always,
But sometimes when I hear people talking about being worthy,
Um,
Or deserving,
I like,
I can feel some egoic aspect to it,
So it just always seem like,
Eh,
I don't know if that's the right word.
I don't know if that,
Or that that's the right approach.
So I was,
I was thinking about it and I'm going,
Okay,
Well,
What are other ways to look at this?
You know?
So,
So first I want to embody the energy of being worthy or,
Or get the,
A clear concept of what I mean by being worthy in the forefront of my mind,
And then see if there are other ways to come at that.
So that might be a little bit too much information.
This is,
This is what I do.
Uh,
This,
This is welcome to inside Glenn's head.
Um,
So I'm thinking of it and I'm going,
Okay,
What,
What do people mean when they're saying that,
Uh,
Or,
Or even myself when I'm saying it,
Because I say it sometimes,
Um,
So what do I mean when I'm talking about being worthy,
You know?
And,
And I started with,
And this might've been a smart move on my part,
Or shall I say lucky?
Cause I didn't plan it.
Um,
I started with being worthy of God's love because that's like the,
The Mac daddy,
You know,
That's the big thing.
Um,
So being worthy of God's love and I,
And I started thinking and I'm like,
Am I worthy of God's love?
I was like,
Well,
Yeah,
Of course I'm worthy of God's love.
Like I,
God made me like,
I am an essence of God and I'm not going to hang on this part,
But as I was contemplating this stuff,
I actually got like a visual of,
Of,
Of,
Uh,
Creation,
Creation of a person or multiple people.
And I'm not saying this is true,
But this was the visual that that came in.
I saw a geometric pattern,
Right?
And it was,
And I looked closely at it and it was the flower of life.
If you're not familiar with that,
Just look it up.
The flower of life,
Geometric pattern.
And I,
And I saw like,
I didn't see God.
I just saw what God was doing supposedly.
Right.
And it was all these geometric patterns of the flower of life.
There was tons of them and he kind of took them and he wasn't,
You know,
He didn't have hands,
So it wasn't touching them,
But he just kind of somehow,
You know,
I'll show you visually with,
With my hand,
But he,
He just kind of scooped some up and,
And,
Or,
Or directed some in a way,
Like I said,
He was doing this without a hand.
So if you're listening to this on audio,
Don't worry about it because my hand movements probably aren't making much sense anyway.
So,
So it was like,
God took these,
These flower of life,
Geometric patterns,
Just they're all the same and there was tons of them and he just kind of moved them in one area to kind of symbolize making a human being and then he just breathe some energy into it,
Just,
And it,
And it was energy.
And what it did is it animated those,
Those geometric patterns into like a human being,
And it was very like loose concept,
You know,
It didn't look exactly like a human being,
But it would,
But my point is,
Is all these flower of life,
Geometric patterns kind of came together into one unit to form a person and,
And,
And the way it was,
It became animated was through the breath of God,
Which was pure energy.
So he breathed some energy into that and it just became a person,
You know?
So along those lines,
Like if you can follow that visualization with me,
I'm like,
Okay,
Well,
The breath of God,
The energy,
And even the geometric patterns that he was using were aspects of God and God is love.
So it's aspects of love.
So I am made of love.
I am made of God's love.
It's,
It's what puts me together in a geometric way.
It's what forms my cells and my molecules and it's,
It's what forms them.
And then the thing that brings them all together and,
And induces life is the breath of God.
So I'm a combination of,
Of God particles called the flower of life and the loving breath of God.
So am I worthy of God's love?
I am God's love.
Animated.
I literally am the love of God being expressed through the breath of God.
In a particular way.
And of course we all are.
So do I have to become worthy of God's,
Do I have to become worthy of what I am?
It's literally what I am.
So I don't need to become worthy of it.
Of course I'm worthy of it.
I am it.
It's what I'm made of.
So I,
I embody it.
I am it.
Now,
Of course,
I mean,
I am it period,
Right?
Now I'm experiencing this lifetime on earth as Glenn.
Do I always act like I am God's love?
No,
No.
I don't,
You know,
I can forget it.
I can block it out.
I can be conditioned to believe that I'm something else.
I can be conditioned to believe that other people could hurt me or that I'm not eternal or that other external forces are in control of how I feel and what I do.
You know,
I can be conditioned to believe all these things.
It doesn't mean it's true.
It's just,
But I have free will because that's love.
Free will is love.
Like you can't,
You can't control something and say you love it.
That's because control is not love.
It's,
It's the opposite energy.
This is why we have free will.
So I have free will.
So that means I can block out,
I can choose what to believe in and I can forget because of conditioning and I can,
I can't actually separate myself from God,
But I can think that I am.
I can't actually even separate myself from the universe,
From every other person and every other thing and every other no thing.
I can't separate myself from that,
But I can think that I am and behave like that,
Like I am,
So then I'll experience it like I am here on earth.
It's not true.
Face over on the couch crying.
What's you crying about Faithy?
I didn't actually forget it.
It's okay.
Um,
So,
So yeah,
Our,
You know,
Our belief can.
Can inhibit the way we're interacting.
So,
You know,
Along those lines,
So,
So this is,
That's where,
That's where I started,
Which I think was a good place to start because it's very foundational.
Right.
And then off of that,
We can start bringing in other things to,
To just explore this,
You know,
As I'm contemplating,
I'm bringing in other things.
So I'm like,
Okay,
Well,
Okay.
I,
I like that idea of God's love.
I don't have to be worthy of God's love.
I just have to remember that I am God's love.
And then of course I will have it in me because I am it.
If I don't feel it,
It's not because I'm not worthy of it.
It's because I forgot that I am it.
Right.
So that's our foundation.
Then,
Then you can start bringing that concept into other things and say,
Oh,
Does it,
So does this concept work with other things,
Other God qualities,
Other things that I would like to embody other things that people,
Um,
Want other aspects of God,
Uh,
And you know,
One of the things,
One aspect of God is abundance,
You know,
So I jumped right to that one.
Because that is almost the other end of the spectrum to me.
Like you've got God's love and that's everything that's foundational,
But then God also has other qualities and,
Um,
And abundance is one of them.
But abundance,
The way a lot of people's brains look at it is,
Um,
Money or,
Or,
Um,
Things or,
You know,
And the more we are attached to our life here on earth,
Our,
Our temporary identity,
The more we want that stuff.
And even if we're,
You know,
Really on a spiritual,
Like,
Let's say we're completely enlightened,
Well,
We're going to be abundant where we're not going to want for things.
Why?
Because,
Because,
Because God is abundant.
And if we are,
If we erase that veil of illusion as to what we actually are,
Then we will be abundant just because it's a characteristic of characteristic of God,
Then it's obviously a characteristic of us because we are made of God energy.
Energy.
So what,
What God is made of is what we are.
You know,
You,
You can't make a wooden table if you don't have wood.
God doesn't have a pile of crap up there.
So he's not making people out of crap.
He's only using what he's got and that's love,
Love energy.
That's what he's got.
So that's what he's using.
And he's got an abundance of it because abundance is a characteristic of God.
God is abundant.
Nature is abundant.
There's no shortage of blades of grass or grains of sand or leaves on trees.
There's no shortage of that.
There's no lack.
So,
So then am I worthy of abundance?
Worthy of abundance implies that it's separate from me and I have to do certain things to acquire it or be a certain way for it to come in,
You know,
And,
And it's,
See,
This is,
This is the kind of tricky part that this is,
I think this is a good example of how people can see things in different ways and it doesn't mean that they're wrong,
You know,
Because like,
I'm not saying that we can't say I'm,
I'm worthy of abundance or I'm worthy of God's love.
We can still say that.
And I understand what people mean,
But when you go on a deep level and you start exploring this,
All of a sudden you start seeing different ways of saying it.
And it doesn't mean that the other way was wrong.
It could mean,
Depending on the person,
That one way resonates more than another way,
Right?
Maybe after listening to this podcast,
Some people are going to go,
I don't know,
Man,
Like,
I don't get what you're saying with all this.
I am it.
But I can understand that if I open up to God,
Then I'm worthy of it.
So I'm just going to stick with that.
It's like,
Oh,
Okay.
Then cool.
Stick with that.
You know?
But other people are going to go,
Oh,
Okay.
I see what you're saying.
This is a different way of coming at it.
And the energy might be a little bit more pure this way.
That's what I'm thinking.
I don't know that I've come to my final conclusion,
Or even if I do,
If my conclusion will stay,
Maybe I'll change my opinion a month from now.
But it seems to me that I'm always looking for the purity of the energy,
Because there's less,
You know,
If you want to get closer to the truth,
You simplify.
So if I come down and I go,
Okay,
If I'm looking at,
Am I worthy of it?
If I'm worthy of abundance,
That means that there's a possibility of me being not worthy of abundance.
If I,
Especially if I have to do something to become worthy of it,
Or I have to align myself with a worthiness,
Then I have to do that.
Whereas if I just am it,
Then I'm just remembering that I am it.
I just have to remember my truth.
There's nothing to do.
Like you can't go remember really hard.
I can't,
I can't get lost in trying to remember,
You know,
Oh,
I'm going to,
I'm going to go sit in a corner real hard and remember,
I'm going to remember that I am abundance,
Effort,
Effort,
Effort.
Oh,
Oh,
I was so close.
I didn't quite get it.
All right.
Let me try it again.
Effort,
Effort,
Effort.
No,
You're not going to do it that way.
Right?
You can't effort your way into remembering something because when you effort,
You constrict,
You tighten,
Which restricts flow,
Which restricts openness.
You know,
Who sings that song?
I can't think of it.
Oh,
I'll just stop trying to think of it and it'll come to me.
Yeah.
And then you stop thinking about it.
And then all of a sudden,
Five minutes later,
It's like,
Oh,
It was that guy.
Right.
Why?
Because the harder you try to remember,
The less it works because you're constricting,
Right?
So.
So if,
If I'm not trying to accomplish something or trying to do something,
Then I'm less likely to effort at it.
If I understand it's a matter of remembering my truth.
Then maybe I can attempt different techniques of remembering my truth.
Maybe contemplating is one because you can't contemplate real hard.
You can think real hard,
But contemplating isn't necessarily trying to come to the conclusion.
It's just tossing ideas around.
That's why I like it so much.
You know,
Just toss ideas around,
No pressure.
I might come to a conclusion.
I might not.
And then even if I do come to a conclusion,
I might change my mind later.
I'm just contemplating.
So,
So yeah,
This is,
This is what I'm talking about.
I'd love to get some feedback on you from you guys on this one,
Especially just to,
I always love getting feedback.
You know,
I always love getting emails.
Messages and,
You know,
Comments and stuff like that.
I always love that.
You know,
The feedback,
Like I,
I do a podcast,
But which is mostly me talking.
Right.
But,
But where it's really at is interacting with people and feedback and stuff.
So this one,
Especially,
I'd be curious as to what people think about these this concept,
You know,
The,
That,
That we don't have to become worthy or deserving of something that we already are,
Because if it's a quality of God,
Then it is a quality of us because we are an aspect of God.
We are part of God.
So now I just,
I don't have to become worthy of abundance.
I just have to remember that I am abundance itself in human form.
I am abundance energy.
And if I'm not experiencing it in my life,
It's because I've blocked it or forgot the truth of it.
It's not because I'm not it.
I'm a walking ball of abundance,
Just like everybody else's and everything else's.
You know,
There is no lack.
I'm not lacking anything.
God's not like,
Oh,
We're going to make Glenn,
But we're not going to give him something that he needs just because I feel like being a jerk today.
Like,
Does that sound like love to you?
If I can't picture a loving God saying it,
Then it's not true.
So,
Yeah,
Let's see if I had anything else to touch on,
This might be a short one.
Oh yeah,
I just made a note that I,
About the creation thing that I,
The visual that I had seen,
But I already talked about that,
You know,
It's,
It's,
It's interesting,
I saw this movie a while ago.
I don't remember which one it was,
But it was,
It was,
It was,
It was,
It was like,
I don't remember which one it was,
But they put,
They had like this,
I don't know what it was,
I,
I think it might've been paint,
Like,
You know,
Liquid paint,
Um,
But it may have been yogurt,
But whatever it was,
They had it like inside this container and there were pumping vibration into it,
Which is energy.
Right.
So like,
You know,
Music or something.
And the,
The more intense,
The vibration that they pumped in,
The,
The,
All of a sudden the liquid started standing up and animating a little,
You know,
It didn't really look like a person or anything,
But it all of a sudden it starts,
You know,
Instead of lying flat,
It started vibrating and causing ripples.
And then all of a sudden those ripples started coming up in the middle and standing up kind of.
And then,
You know,
And then they,
They just kept increasing the vibration or rate and,
And then all of a sudden it's,
You know,
There would be a separation from where the body,
And then it almost looked like a head on top and then maybe an arm coming out and I'm like,
Oh my God,
Look at this,
Isn't that amazing?
Like that could be it.
Like that could be what's happening to us.
That could be the energy because I mean,
The amount of energy in our bodies can like literally power a city.
Right.
So there's,
There's a vibrational rate within every cell,
Within every molecule,
And I don't want to go to quantum physics on you guys,
But,
But like,
You know,
Theoretically it's possible that,
That this is what's happened,
You know,
This is how we were formed and this is literally what we are.
We think where this matter,
This we're mostly empty space.
With vibrational rates within that empty space,
Like,
You know,
And we'd look at,
We'd look at a rock or a table and we think it's solid.
It's not,
It's,
It's literally movement inside everything.
Every piece of matter is simply there's,
It's just vibrational rate.
So,
So yeah,
That's the,
That's a creation.
So yeah,
I'd love to hear what you guys think.
So are we,
Do we have to become worthy of God's love?
Do we have to become worthy of abundance?
Do we have to become worthy of peace?
That to me is one right in the middle.
I believe peace is an aspect of God.
So,
So like love is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is,
Is the end all be all,
And then we've got abundance and then kind of,
I,
I kind of see peace right in between those two in between it's not love cause love is just absolutely everything,
But it is still a beautiful quality.
Maybe it's an aspect of love.
Abundance could be an aspect of love,
Right?
But I see love as the total,
And then maybe abundance is being an,
As an aspect of love and peace being an aspect of love.
So,
But like I was saying initially,
I kind of saw peace like in between love and abundance.
So it's like,
Am I,
Am I worthy of peace?
Do I have to do something to be worthy of peace?
No,
No,
I don't have to do anything to become worthy.
Do I have to believe that I'm worthy?
Ooh,
Now we're getting closer,
Right?
I understand why somebody would say we need to believe that we're worthy of peace,
Because if you follow that,
It's going to help you embody it.
But is that exactly it?
Maybe not.
Maybe we are peace and we just have to remember that we are peace.
It's our natural state.
The only reason we're not experiencing peace is because we've put up a block against it.
We forgot that it's our natural state.
So we started embodying something that wasn't peace,
Defensiveness,
You know,
Argumentative,
Like we've developed these things because we forgot we were peace.
Yeah.
So this is it.
Yeah.
This is going to be a short one.
That's good.
So welcome to Glenn's brain.
Welcome to Glenn's contemplations.
Um,
And yeah,
I just think,
You know,
Right now,
As of today,
I'm thinking that just remembering the truth of what we are,
Which that's not a foreign statement to say,
Um,
I guess I'm just coming at it in a way that I haven't heard other people come at it.
That's why I'm doing this podcast,
But remembering what we truly are,
I think accomplishes the same thing as believing we're worthy in it.
Maybe this is a good way to phrase it.
Remembering what we truly are accomplishes the same thing as feeling that we are worthy or deserving of it.
It,
But it bypasses some of those egoic trips and tricks because.
Like I said,
The feeling you're worthy or feeling you're deserving kind of implies that it's possible to not be worthy or worthy.
Um,
It might be possible to not be deserving.
So then see that,
That dualistic nature,
That dualistic implication kind of opens a door for the ego to come in and just like,
Oh,
Can that,
Can that ego sneak in a little bit here and get involved in the conversation,
You know,
And the problem with that is if the ego comes in and you're sitting there,
Like,
How do you,
Sometimes it's hard to decipher if you're going,
I am worthy of something and it's pure self-love,
Or if you're going,
I am worthy of something and it's egoic or partially egoic based,
That can be difficult,
That can be difficult to navigate because we're really good at lying to ourselves,
Right?
This is why I always look for like the purest form of energy,
The simplest way,
Because like,
If,
If I can shut the door on an ego,
If I can shut out,
Um,
This illusion of duality,
Which can open the door for egoic,
Because that's planet earth time now,
Which is a temporal zone.
It's not the eternal zone.
Like there's a danger that I'm sneaking in some ego or the ego sneaking in and I'm not recognizing it,
Right?
Whereas if I'm just remembering my truth,
I don't feel the ego with that.
Just remembering that my natural state is abundance.
So I,
The reason I don't see the dualistic end of that is because I,
I can't remember something that I'm not like,
If I'm trying to remember my natural state and something isn't my natural state,
Then how can I remember it?
Right.
I mean,
Of course,
If you really want to try to delude yourself,
You could make stuff up and you could go,
Well,
No,
I,
Uh,
I just decided I remember my true self and I remembered that I am a BMW,
So now I have a BMW because I remembered I was one,
Uh,
It's,
You know,
I mean,
That,
That of course,
Wasn't a good example,
But,
But my point is,
You know,
You,
You can BS yourself in any way,
Shape or form,
Whether you're talking strictly spiritually or,
Or not,
Um,
Dualistically or not,
Like you can delude yourself.
I'm just saying,
I think it's less likely the closer we get to the truth,
The closer we get that phrasing things and looking at things the right way,
That the more spiritual way,
The less dualistic way,
The less doorways for the ego come in to come in or the less likely they are to come in,
Then the better off we are,
You know?
So,
Yeah,
That's going to do it.
Let me know,
