Choose a comfortable place for yourself.

Sink into this place.

Feel your body becoming soft and heavy.

Melt down into the support that surrounds you.

We are going to begin with breathing.

It is one of the simplest of movements and one of the most healing gifts.

It was the first thing you did when you were born from your mother and it will be the last thing you do when you pass from this earth.

Take three long,

Deep,

Slow breaths.

Each breath,

Find yourself letting go.

Freeing.

Surrendering.

You are not surrendering to some force outside of yourself.

You are surrendering to spirit within.

Every sound is taking you deeper.

Every breath is taking you deeper.

Bringing you to a wonderful feeling of relaxation.

That's good.

Feel your body relax.

Allow your mind to become quiet.

Thoughts may float in and out.

Just let them float by and focus upon the sound of my voice guiding you.

And focus on your breath.

As you continue breathing,

Feel how light you are becoming.

As a pure,

Clean energy of air enters and fills you with life force energy.

Visualize yourself in the middle of a vast meadow filled with wildflowers and grasses.

You are facing east,

The direction of air.

The sky is crystal clear,

With soft,

Wispy floating clouds.

The sun is shining bright.

It's the perfect temperature.

Not too hot,

But warm and comfortable.

Take a moment to listen to the soft whisper of the wind as it blows through the grasses and wildflowers around you.

The air gently caresses your face and lifts your hair slightly as it blows through your strands.

Butterflies dance gently around you as they kiss the blooms in the meadow.

In the distance,

You can hear the wind start to pick up a little momentum.

As it rushes towards you across the grass,

You feel the brush of the breeze as it approaches you and rushes over your skin and through your hair.

Feel the energy of air.

Air of inspiration.

Air of knowledge.

Creativity.

Ideas and breath.

As the wind is blowing,

It begins to move through you and within you.

Swirling,

Twirling,

In and out of you as if it is clearing you.

Creating space and openness to receive messages of the universe.

You feel as if there is no separation between you and the sacred element.

You are air.

You are air.

You are now open and ready to receive the messages of wisdom from the element of air.

In the distance,

You see a songbird approaching on the breeze.

And with it comes a message from air that only you can hear.

I'll be quiet for a moment as you receive the message meant only for you.

It may come as a picture in your mind or a whisper or the lyrics of a song or any way that air wants to communicate with you.

Listen.

It is time to offer gratitude and blessings to the sacred element and to bid air farewell.

Know that you can connect with air anytime and anyplace to receive clarity,

Rejuvenation,

Invigorating,

Radiant and healing gifts of air.

It is time to come back,

Back to normal waking consciousness.

Know that you are supported,

You are grounded,

You are loved and you are worthy.

Bathe in this sensation of rest,

Renewal and restoration.

When you feel ready,

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a deep breath in and out.

Open your eyes.

Feeling refreshed,

Restored and energized.

And so it is.
