Welcome to your gentle evening reset for deep rest.

And start to connect to a mindful breath as I open our practice.
Deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale slowly from the mouth.
Another mindful inhale through the nose.
From the mouth letting the shoulders drop and the jaw relax And inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth,
Stepping away from your busy day.
And diving within.
Getting further and further away.
From the external world and diving.
Within your inner space.
That beautiful safe place.
A space that allows you to restore and replenish your precious energy.
A place where you reconnect.
With your true essence.
With who you are beyond all the roles that you play in the external world.
All of that is getting further and further away.
Taking a beautiful inhale through the nose.
Expanding the belly and then the lungs.
Exhale releasing from the mouth Rolling the shoulders back.
A few times to fully land in the body.
Release.
Any tensions that may have landed there.
And then just allowing the entire nervous system to relax.
And get ready for rest.

Nourishing inhale through the nose.
Exhale from the mouth.
Beautiful sigh of relief and release.
It sends a signal to the body and the mind that it's safe to relax.
It's safe to step away from it all.
To release any heaviness.
Anything that you've been carrying with you.
And just coming back.
To yourself.
To that space of love.
Compassion,
Trust,
And knowing.

Creating more and more distance between yourself and the thoughts that may arise.
Allowing the stillness to remind you that you are not the thought.
You are the observer of the thoughts.
You have the power to consciously choose.
If you focus on them.
If you attach to them.
Or if you release them.
If you gently let them go.

Eyelids,
Relax.
Muscles in the forehead,

The muscles in the back,
Relax.

Inviting every part of the body to melt a little more.
Into the bed or your chair or the floor,
Wherever you are.
Just fully melting into the moment.
Into the now.
Into beautiful,
Peaceful,
And restorative energy.

Exhale anything that isn't serving you from the mouth.
Releasing,

Releasing.
Letting it all go and float away.
Creating beautiful expansiveness within yourself where You're creating a safe space.
The space of beauty.
Of beautiful dreams Out of anything.
That your heart is calling for.
For the restful night ahead.

And just coming back to peace and presence.
