Womb Healing Meditation
I created this “Womb Healing Meditation” to support you in gently reconnecting with your power, sexual energy, and creative potentials that reside in the womb. So many of us were never taught how to welcome and feel into the wisdom of our bodies, so we could trust our deeper nature that guides us towards greater fulfillment.
Transcript
This is a womb healing meditation.
I invite you to find a comfortable position that allows you to be relaxed.
Find a posture that would allow the legs and the feet and the pelvic floor to be comfortable.
And then from here,
Just inviting your body and your mind to settle.
If you need a little bit more adjustment,
Feel free to grab a pillow if you need it.
And just continuing to settle into your posture.
And also you can choose if you'd like to have your eyes open or closed.
Remembering there is no right or wrong way here.
You're just giving yourself permission to explore your own body,
Your womb space.
We're going to continue by focusing our attention on the breath and the phrases so that you can start to synchronize and bring together your mind,
Your breath and your body.
On your next inhale,
I invite you to repeat the phrase breathing in.
And then on your exhale,
Repeat the phrase breathing out.
You can breathe in through the nose and then breathe out through the nose or the mouth,
Whatever you prefer.
Just continue doing that for several cycles.
If your mind wanders off,
Just remember it's very normal.
It happens to all of us.
Just gently return your attention back to the phrases and the breath.
And from here,
I invite you to place your left hand on your belly.
If you feel comfortable enough,
Having a skin-to-skin contact between your hand and your belly.
And just feeling this connection between your hand and your belly.
Remembering that you're not trying to make anything happen.
Just simply becoming aware of what starts to come into your awareness,
Your consciousness as you gradually move towards the space in your belly.
You might initially have thoughts such as my belly needs to be flat or maybe feeling a sense of discomfort initially.
Whatever comes to the surface,
Just accept it for now.
Remembering to be kind and compassionate with yourself.
If you start to react to the thoughts that are arising,
See if you can release the reactivity and come back to the sensations of the belly.
Now I invite you to move beyond the physical layer of your belly and actually go deeper into the energetic layer in your womb.
Start to pay attention to the energy inside.
Is it contracted?
Is it soft?
Is it feel warm or cold?
Maybe there's a sense of numbness inside.
Maybe you sense that the energy is as tight as a ball.
Maybe you see a particular image inside that shows you what the state of your womb is currently.
Give yourself time and space to explore the energy inside.
Remembering that if something becomes overwhelming for you,
You can always stop the meditation,
You can open your eyes,
You can return back to your breath.
Start to pay attention to what it is that you are repressing or resisting or shutting down and holding inside of your womb space.
If you have some experiences that you've gone through that still haven't been processed,
Most likely some of those experiences are being held inside of the womb.
There could be pain there,
There could be grief.
Just allow yourself to touch those places with gentleness.
Gradually bring the light of your awareness into those quote-unquote dark places.
And see if you can allow the breath to reach your womb,
Allowing the womb to soften,
To release,
Giving yourself permission to let go.
If your pelvic floor or your womb starts to rock back and forward or in a spiral or maybe side to side,
Just trust the movement of your body.
It's just one way that the body starts to release the energy and allow it to move.
I can even repeat the phrase,
It is safe for me to trust my body.
From here I invite you to feel that there is a cord of energy that connects your womb with the energy of the earth.
You can feel that connection,
You can visualize it if you can't feel it quite yet,
And just feel that your womb is being anchored in the energy and the love of the earth.
And allow your pelvis to release into the earth,
To let go into the love of the earth.
Allowing yourself to be deeply held.
Opening your womb space,
Softening around the contractions,
Allowing the emotions and the energy to move.
If this feels supportive to you,
You can also place an image inside of your womb that feels healing to you.
You could choose a flower,
You could choose to place a ray of sun inside of your womb.
Just allow your imagination and your inner guidance to show you what that would be.
There's nothing you need to come up with.
And allow that image to work inside of your womb,
Connect with it.
Connect with the energy of that image.
And if you don't feel anything at the moment,
Or there's a sense of being cut off from your womb,
Or there's a sense of disconnectedness and you're just noticing that you are in mental space at the moment,
It's totally ok.
Just allow yourself to accept your experience exactly as it is.
And if you feel connected,
Allow the transformation to take place,
Allow the healing to take place.
To the extent that you're ready without forcing for something to happen,
Letting go of aggression or agendas.
Continuing to give yourself time and space.
Grounding yourself in your womb.
And from here I invite you to repeat the following phrases if you wish to.
And feel the vibration of those phrases as they're landing inside of your body.
I reclaim my womb.
I reclaim my womb.
I reclaim my womb.
And if there's another phrase that comes up for you,
Allow yourself to speak it in either internally or out loud.
And now I invite you to place your hand,
The right hand,
On your chest,
Connecting with your heart center.
Just take a couple of gentle breaths into your heart space.
From here I invite you to start to feel the connection between your heart and your womb.
If you don't feel a sense of connection,
Just visualize that there's a cord of energy that runs from your heart into your womb space.
Continuing to breathe into your womb and into your heart.
Maybe even noticing which center rises first.
Is it your belly that rises on your inhale or is it your heart?
And if your heart rises first on your inhale,
See if you can allow the breath to deepen.
So the inhale comes first from the womb and then it rises up into your chest.
And if that doesn't seem possible at the moment,
Totally OK.
Just let that go and remember you can continue to practice.
You can return to this meditation again and again.
And the way we're going to close this meditation is by saying to your heart,
I love you.
And bringing our attention to the womb and saying to the womb,
I love you.
And then when you feel ready to bring this practice to completion,
I invite you to rest your hands away from your womb and your heart.
Take a couple of gentle breaths one more time into your body.
I just want to continue receiving the nourishment from the energy that got awakened.
Feel free to do that.
But if you feel like you want to complete that,
I invite you to open your eyes gently.
Just coming back into the space where you're at.
