In this meditation practice I'll be sharing with you how to connect with your future self.
And when I talk about the future self I don't mean that it's you needing to take action,
You needing to know the exact steps to connect with your future self.
It's more about noticing the and sensing the energy of your future self.
This will be a guided visualization practice.
So from here I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Posture.
You could lay down if you want to,
You could be seated.
It's really up to you.
Just finding a place of comfort that allows you to relax and be awake at the same time.
Now I invite you to allow your body to release into the support of the chair or the sofa or the furniture or the floor.
Just surrendering to the pull of gravity and yourself to be supported and held.
Finding a sense of ease into your mind,
Into your body.
And for this practice to be effortless.
Releasing a part of you that might want to get somewhere,
That is used to accomplishing,
Achieving.
Just letting it rest as you create space for something new to emerge.
I invite you to visualize yourself in a beautiful garden.
Feel your feet pressing against the earth.
Feel your legs moving.
Allow yourself to take in what you see in that garden.
Noticing all the beautiful flowers,
Colors,
Seeing birds and butterflies flying around.
Feel a gentle breeze caressing your skin and sense the warmth of the sunshine falling on your face and your skin.
As you keep walking you notice a pond in front of you.
As you approach that pond you see clear water.
You're just spending time looking at the beauty.
I invite you to look to your left side and you notice a bench there.
On that bench you see a being.
You recognize that being as your future self.
Look at your future self.
Notice what is your future self wearing?
What does the energy feel like of your future self?
What is the facial expression?
You can come closer and sit at the bench with your future self.
Looking into their eyes and noticing what do you see in their eyes.
If you want you can ask them a question.
What do you want me to know?
Just listen to the response.
If you have another question feel free to ask it.
Notice if your future self wants to share something with you or wants to give you a gift.
Come receptive to what your future self wants to share with you.
From here I invite you to stand up and see your future self standing up.
If it feels right for you I invite you to embrace your future self in the sense that your energy is merging with the energy of your future self so that you can start to in this moment embody your future self.
As you are starting to walk once again towards the pond,
Once again walking down that same path through the garden,
Feeling your feet pressing against the earth,
Taking in the beauty around you.
Just continuing to walk to that same place.
Meditation practice has started.
Once you reach that place I invite you to start to gently bring this practice to completion.
Now check in with yourself to see if there is any particular action you need to be taking in the direction of your future self,
A fuller embodiment of your future self.
Maybe there is no action that needs to be taken right now and that's totally okay.
Maybe there is something that your intuition is inviting you to step into or your inner guidance or your future self are inviting you to step into.
If you like you can jot it down so you can remember it and that you can always go back to this meditation when you need to reconnect with your future self.
