Fear is something that's coming up a lot in my life right now.
Fear of moving forward.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear of what comes next.
So let's take some time to just sit with that feeling and acknowledge where it lives in the body.
I'll invite you to find a comfortable position.
And gently close your eyes.
And just allow your body to arrive.
Notice the weight of your body in this moment.
Notice the places where you are held by the surface or the ground beneath you.
Notice where the air touches your skin.
And just allow yourself to feel into this moment.
Take a slow breath in through the nose.
And a long,
Easy exhale through the mouth.
Once again,
Breathe in deeply.
And let it go.
There may be something in your life right now that feels uncertain.
Perhaps a threshold you're standing at.
A decision unmade.
Door that has not yet opened.
Or a chapter that hasn't revealed its shape just yet.
You don't have to name this out loud.
Just allow your body to acknowledge that it knows something is in motion.
And see if somewhere within your body There's a sensation connected to that uncertainty.
You might feel tightness in your chest or a hollowness in the belly held quality in the shoulders or the throat.
Right now,
You don't need to fix or interrupt it.
Just become aware of where that sensation lives.
Fear of the unknown is one of the most honest things a human can experience.
It means you care about something in your life.
It means something matters.
So today,
Instead of asking the fear to leave,
See if you can just let it be here.
Not as the enemy,
Not as a warning,
Just information.
As a part of you that's trying to keep you safe.
And if it feels right to do so,
Place one hand on the area of your body where you feel this fear most.
And if there's no distinct location,
Rest your hand on your heart.
And take a breath into that place.
And on your exhale,
Soften.
Even slightly around it.
You don't have to know what comes next.
In this moment,
You don't have to have it all figured out.
Right now,
You are okay.
You are breathing and you are held.
You see if you can stay here with the sensation of not knowing.
Without rushing towards an answer.
Life changes us.
Transitions ask things of us.
And often the most difficult part isn't what's ahead.
It's what lives in between.
The liminal space where the old has ended and the new hasn't quite arrived.
It's okay if that's where you are.
So breathe into it slowly.
And exhale completely.
And maybe ask yourself quietly.
.
.
With curiosity rather than demand.
In this moment,
What do I already know that I can trust?
Let whatever comes up to arise.
You don't need to force an answer.
This is an invitation to sit and listen.
Slowly begin to deepen your breath.
Let a little more air in and a little more out.
You came into this practice carrying something real.
And you didn't try to outrun it,
You sat with it.
That takes courage.
It takes practice.
When you're ready,
Begin to bring gentle movements back into your fingers and your toes.
Maybe stretch your arms overhead if that feels right.
And as you slowly blink your eyes open,
Take a moment to take in the room around you.
The one that's held you during your practice.
The one that's been constant for you all along.
Whatever is unresolved in your life.
It doesn't have to be resolved today.
You are allowed to be in progress.
You are allowed to not know what comes next.
And even through that uncertainty.
You are still beneath all of it,
Completely whole.
You you
