Hello,
Inside timer.
Right now is an opportunity to come home to yourself,
To pause,
To tune inward.
So,
Wherever you are,
Allow your body to land in whatever way that looks like for you today.
If it feels comfortable,
Gently close your eyes and begin to notice your body,
The way you're sitting or lying down,
Perhaps feeling into the points of contact beneath you,
Holding you,
Supporting you,
Allowing yourself to be in this moment.
Let's take a slow,
Deep breath in through the nose,
And a soft exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Breathing in,
And as you exhale,
Letting go.
One more time,
Inhale deeply,
And exhale with a sigh.
As you allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm,
Just notice the subtle movements of the body as you breathe.
The rise and fall of your chest,
The subtle movements in your belly,
We aren't trying to control the breath,
We're just noticing.
As you rest here,
You might notice that your mind starts to wander,
And that's ok.
Just gently return your awareness back to your breath,
Back to your body in this moment.
I'll invite you to bring your awareness beneath the movement,
Beneath each thought,
Beneath the breath.
Notice if there's a quiet presence here,
Perhaps a stillness that exists regardless of what's happening on the surface.
See if you can feel into that,
A space that's unchanging and quiet.
Allow yourself to rest here.
This deep calm within isn't something you have to create,
It's something you just remember.
Gently begin to bring your awareness back to your breath,
Back to your body.
Notice the space around you,
And before you open your eyes,
Take a moment to notice how you feel.
Stillness often is not loud,
It's just present.
When you're ready,
Gently blink your eyes open.
Carry this quiet with you into whatever comes next.
