Self love can be profoundly healing and it is through the act of self compassion that we can improve our mental health.
We live in a fast paced and diverse society that can make it seem as though we aren't doing enough and the cycle of beating ourselves down begins.
The drive toward perfectionism can begin a vicious cycle as well but nothing is gained by being too hard on ourselves except more and more stress.
In order to quiet the mind of self criticism you must first cultivate your inner compassion.
Let that voice rise above the rest of the noise.
Know that when you begin to take care of yourself you begin to lead a happier and more fulfilled life.
Today stop putting yourself last and move yourself up to the top of the list.
You are an important person and you deserve the care,
Attention and love as well.
In this recording I will guide you through a short relaxation meditation leading into a visualization journey that will help amplify your self love so that you can receive that much needed healing energy that it provides and let it ripple out into your life.
Let's begin by relaxing.
You may now close your eyes.
You can be sitting in a reclined position or laying down.
Take a very deep breath in through your nose and as you exhale through your mouth focus on the sound of my voice allowing you to be present and grounded in this moment.
Now take another deep breath in through your nose and exhale any tension you might be feeling.
Once again a deep,
Deep breath through your nose and exhale.
Let the natural rhythm of your breath take over as you begin to focus your attention to your heart space.
It is in this space that you can set your intention for this meditation to open the gateways into self love,
Compassion,
Forgiveness and healing.
I would like you to imagine a warm healing energy in this heart space.
It is a bright healing light that is ready to spread throughout your whole body slowly.
This light is a gentle and loving energy.
You begin to feel it spreading upward to your shoulders,
Neck and face.
Spreading through your whole entire head all the way up to your crown.
Focusing your mind and receiving the love and healing that this heart energy provides and all your muscles feel relaxed.
Focus your attention back into your heart space.
And imagine this healing light spreading up your chest and back all the way to your shoulders and down your upper arms,
Elbows,
Wrists and fingers.
Relaxing all of your muscles and releasing any tension that might be stored.
Draw your attention to your heart space once again and imagine the healing light spreading down to your abdomen,
Lower back,
Filling your hips,
Pelvic area and buttocks muscles all the way down to your upper thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Shins,
Ankles,
Feet all the way to the tips of your toes,
Relaxing you completely.
You are now completely enveloped and filled with this loving and healing light.
Your mind is calm and you feel whole in the embrace of this energy.
Now that you are completely relaxed and basking in the healing light,
We will begin the journey in a perfect setting for this type of healing.
In nature,
Visualize yourself walking down a path in a beautiful open field.
You're enjoying the light breeze on your cheeks and the sun caressing your skin.
You notice a beautiful and vibrant forest up ahead.
This is the forest of your dreams.
I'm going to count from 10 to 1 and when I reach 1,
You will have reached the edge of the forest in complete relaxation and at ease.
10 Feeling calm and relaxed.
9 Noticing the ground below.
8 Walking peacefully down the path.
7 Feeling at ease and happy.
6 So relaxed.
5 Feeling excited for the adventure up ahead.
Knowing that this is for my highest good.

You know you are guided.

Feeling content and at ease.

You are now completely relaxed and you find yourself at the edge of the most magical looking forest.
You enter slowly and notice how the beautiful rays of sunshine are absolutely everywhere.
It is golden,
Bright and your mind feels calm and at peace.
You keep walking,
Enjoying every smell and touching the plants,
Trees and leaves.
As you stroll through this wonderful spacious forest,
Some leaves are lazily making their way down to the ground as they float peacefully by.
You are taking it all in and enjoying yourself.
You turn to the right and notice a huge standing mirror.
At a short distance,
It is about the size of your whole body.
It has intricate designs all around and is absolutely beautiful.
You walk closer and closer until you are standing right in front of it.
You notice how the sun rays are shining on top of you in the reflection.
Good feelings come up for you as you stand eye to eye with your reflection.
You are drawing closer and closer to the sky.
Really look at yourself from head to toe and back into your eyes and notice what emotions come up.
Are they positive,
Judgmental or indifferent?
Always sit with any feeling that may arise and try and see where that feeling comes from.
What is the root of this emotion in your life?
What is the root of this emotion in your life?
Now I want you to focus on your heart center once again.
As you slowly raise your arm and stretch your hand out,
Putting it right on the mirror,
Hand to hand with your reflection.
You watch the warm and healing light spreading from your heart and into your upper arm,
Elbow,
Wrist,
Hands and fingertips.
Until it begins to spread into the hand and body of your reflection.
The loving and supportive,
Unconditional energy has now enveloped both you and your mirror reflection.
Look into the eyes of your reflection and say,
I forgive you.
You did your best.
I respect you.
I honor you.
You deserve to be happy and loved.
You're amazing.
I love you.
Goodness,
What feelings this conjures up.
Allow the warm and loving heart energy to embrace you both and hold you in a safe and sacred space.
Now imagine your reflection saying,
I forgive myself.
I know I did my best.
I respect myself.
I honor myself.
I deserve to be happy and loved.
I'm amazing.
I love myself.
Notice any emotions that may come up and sit with it for a moment.
Try to see where it comes from.
At what point did you experience the disconnect?
And at what point in your life did you feel any of these statements?
Focus all your attention on theๅบๅป area of your reflection and Now repeat that for yourself.
I forgive myself.
I did my best.
I respect myself.
I honor myself.
I deserve to be happy.
I deserve to be loved.
I am amazing.
I love myself.
Now sit with these emotions and see what comes up for you.
Start opening yourself up to the possibility of vast amount of love and healing that come from you.
Coming face to face with yourself and really being present in this awareness can begin the healing process towards self love and compassion.
You slowly step away from the mirror and notice a beautiful green and rich patch of grass up ahead.
It looks inviting and comfortable and the sun's rays are hitting it beautifully.
You walk toward it and notice the trees opening up above to the most beautiful blue sky with puffy white clouds here and there.
You lay down,
Face up and rest.
Taking in the serene beauty all around and listening to the birds singing their beautiful song.
Listening to the leaves rustling gently in the warm breeze.
This moment is yours and you deserve to be relaxed,
Loved,
Held and honored.
All you have to do right now is take in these following affirmations.
Let them seep deeply into your entire being.
Let them become your truth.
I love myself.
I love my body and all that it does for me.
