Hello,

I'm Rhys Jones,

And welcome to this lucid dream incubation recording.

What follows is a lucid dreaming story,

Influenced by one of my own lucid dreams.

It can either be listened to for fun,

Or with the intent to sow seeds for a lucid dream later on in the night.

If you're listening just for fun,

Then you are,

Of course,

Free to put this on at any time during the day or night.

However,

If you decide to listen with the intent to incubate a lucid dream,

Then we recommend listening to it either just before getting into bed,

Or whilst falling to sleep.

So,

I'll now give you a moment to decide how you want to proceed.

If you decide to put this on whilst you're falling to sleep,

Then use this time to prepare for that.

Turn off your lights,

Draw your curtains,

Get into bed,

And do whatever else you need in order to feel fully settled.

Just when my voice returns in a moment,

The lucid dream incubation will begin.

Goodbye.

You come to,

On your knees,

Looking down at a ground made up of sparkling light.

Where am I,

You wonder,

Trying to piece together the timeline of how you got here,

From ten minutes ago to now.

But you can't think straight.

A soft gust of wind rolls through,

Tempting you to shift your focus elsewhere.

But you resist.

Where am I,

You think again,

Once more trying to make sense of your whereabouts.

You can't get hold of anything solid though.

You can't trace back your steps.

And so your lucid dreaming training kicks in.

You push yourself up to your feet,

Plug your nose,

And try to breathe in through it.

To your delight,

You can.

I'm dreaming,

You say out loud,

Watching your words emanate from your mouth in the form of coloured light.

This is all a dream.

Go and see your games.

You look down at the ground again,

Now lucid.

It's still sparkling brightly.

The source of the light is unclear though,

So your focus zooms in towards it.

At first it's just your sight that moves,

As if your eyes were a telescope.

But then,

You feel your actual being tumbling towards it,

Your consciousness as a whole.

You feel disorientated by this perspective shift.

Are you moving towards it?

Is it moving towards you?

Is it getting bigger or is it you that's getting smaller?

Either way,

You now find yourself in amongst the light,

No longer looking at it,

But instead in it,

Surrounded on all sides.

It feels warm and soft and safe here.

And you once again remind yourself that you're dreaming,

Just to make sure that you don't lose focus and fall into a trance.

.

You're now moving through the light,

In a sense walking,

But not really.

Closer to floating,

But even that doesn't feel quite right.

You're exploring this field of light,

Lucidly,

Moving through it with the will of your mind alone.

Not trying to control the unfolding of the dream,

But instead merely observing,

Finding what there is to find.

At one spot in the field,

You find a huge funnel of creamy white light shooting upwards.

At another,

You find a glowing ball,

Pulsating big then,

Small,

Big then,

Small.

Further along still,

You find what almost looks like a rainbow,

But made of pure white light instead of colour.

You're intrigued by these discoveries and as time goes on,

You reach what feels like the outer edge of this field,

And the scene suddenly begins to take on a more solid form.

As this transition takes place,

You rub your hands together and take long,

Deep breaths in and out,

In and out,

In and out,

To ensure you maintain lucidity.

Pause In this new,

Solid space,

You see a rock forming.

Then a tree.

After that,

Off on the horizon,

You see a hill,

And some grazing cattle appear.

A fully-fledged dream scene is materializing around you.

And finally,

You see a cave.

A cave that beckons you toward it,

Requesting you to explore.

And so you walk toward it,

Getting up on its small,

Circular entrance and peering in.

It's a crystal cave with stalactites hanging from the ceiling.

Hundreds of little blue glowing mushrooms peppering the ground.

And a monstrous,

Illuminated quartz crystal in the center.

Hello,

You shout in,

Your voice booming through the cavern,

Loud and bright.

You may enter,

A voice returns,

Quiet and distant yet somehow firm and reassuring.

And so you do not hesitate,

Taking a confident step in to the crystal cave.

Upon entering the crystal cave,

It opens up around you.

From the outside,

It looked a decent size,

But now,

On the inside,

The space takes on a whole new character.

It's huge beyond belief,

And you feel humbled as you look around.

Once again,

You become unsure of the perspective shift.

Did the cave just get bigger,

Or did you just get smaller?

Or both,

Perhaps?

Either way,

You're awed by it,

And walk towards the quartz crystal in the center of the cave with eagerness.

It's big and shimmering and blue,

And you feel an otherworldly pull towards it.

The rocky walls around you are lit up by the crystal's vibrancy,

Taking on its beautiful form and reflecting it back towards you.

The walls shimmer in a way that seems heavenly,

And in response,

You feel tingles rush from your head down to your toes.

Upon reaching the quartz crystal,

You feel a deep sense of peace wash over you.

You place a hand down on the surface and soak in its essence.

And here,

You say with reverence.

In response,

A vibrational wave undulates through your body,

Emanating from the crystal itself.

This is a dream,

You know,

You continue on.

Another warm wave washes over you,

And you rub the crystal's surface to engage your dream's senses and further solidify your lucidity.

As you do,

The crystal starts changing color,

From blue to green to yellow and then to a deep,

Deep purple.

A thick,

Gooey purple.

Its insides are moving around like a lava lamp.

You gaze at it,

Transfixed,

But all the while,

Remembering to keep your eyes moving around from one spot to the next to ensure the dream scene doesn't break down.

You're beautiful,

You say,

Beginning to feel quite emotional.

I think I'll stay here for a while.

You are beautiful,

You say,

Beginning to feel quite emotional.

You stare at the crystal,

And you say,

I'm going to stay here for a while.

You stare at the crystal,

And you say,

I'm going to stay here for a while.

You stare at the crystal,

And you say,

I'm going to stay here for a while.

You stare at the crystal,

And you say,

I'm going to stay here for a while.

You stare at the crystal,

And you say,

I'm going to stay here for a while.

You stare at the crystal,

And you say,

I'm going to stay here for a while.

As time passes,

You fall into a meditative state,

And eventually realize that you've merged with the quartz crystal.

From there,

You lose all sense of self,

All sense of spatial awareness,

And spend the rest of the lucid dream in the clear light.
