Hello,

I'm Rhys Jones and welcome to this Lucid Dream Incubation Recording.

What follows is a lucid dreaming story,

Influenced by one of my own lucid dreams.

It can either be listened to for fun,

Or with the intent to sow seeds for a lucid dream later on in the night.

If you're listening just for fun,

Then you are,

Of course,

Free to put this on at any time during the day or night.

However,

If you decide to listen with the intent to incubate a lucid dream,

Then we recommend listening to it either just before getting into bed,

Or whilst falling to sleep.

So I'll now give you a moment to decide how you want to proceed.

If you decide to put this on whilst you're falling to sleep,

Then use this time now to prepare for that.

Turn off your lights,

Draw your curtains,

Get into bed,

And do whatever else you need in order to feel fully settled.

And when my voice returns in a moment,

The lucid dream incubation will begin.

You come to,

Groggy at first,

And kneeling.

Where am I?

You wonder,

Looking down at the ground,

Trying to piece together the last 15 minutes.

You can't.

Your mind feels blank.

You're dreaming,

You know,

Says a voice behind you.

You get to your feet and look around,

But see no one.

Yep,

They're right,

You're dreaming,

Says another voice,

To your left this time.

You spin around,

But again,

See no one.

For a moment,

You feel frustrated by this.

Where are the voices coming from?

You wonder.

But then,

Logic kicks in,

And you accept the obvious truth.

Of course,

I'm dreaming.

I'm inside my own mind,

You think,

Reassuringly.

Lucidity arrives like a lightning bolt.

Vibrant colours paint the scene.

A gentle breeze wafts in,

And a sense of harmony envelops you.

You're standing on the shore of a beautiful beach.

The sand beneath your feet feels warm and soft,

And the rhythmic sound of the waves,

Breaking against the shore,

Create a soothing melody.

The sky above you is alive with hues of pink,

Orange and purple,

As the sun begins to rise,

Casting a golden glow across the landscape.

What a wondrous sight,

You think.

I'm home again.

You imbibe the magnificent surroundings,

Breathing deep and feeling a strong sense of clarity kick in.

Every detail of your surroundings becomes vivid,

From the intricacies of the seashells scattered along the beach,

To the delicate patterns formed by the crashing waves,

All the way to your clear mental state.

This is the life,

You think,

Breathing in deep again.

The air feels pure and invigorating here,

Carrying with it the scent of the ocean and the subtle fragrance of nearby flowers.

You feel happy to be lucid dreaming.

You kick off from the beach and find yourself soaring through the sky,

Effortlessly gliding above the clouds.

The wind caresses your face and you feel an incredible sense of freedom.

Up and up and up we go,

You think.

The dream landscape below you transforms into a kaleidoscope of colours and shapes,

With magnificent mountains,

Cascading waterfalls and vast meadows stretching out as far as the eyes can see.

Such a thrill.

Your epic flight goes on for what feels like hours before you gently glide back down and land on Terra Firma.

After some time simply appreciating the dream,

You now decide to turn towards an experiment.

I should face my fears,

You think,

Like my fear of spiders,

For example.

And just like that,

You come face to face with a spider,

Crawling along the beach.

For a moment,

You feel a sense of encroaching fear,

But instead of being paralyzed by it,

You lean into it.

You remind yourself that you're dreaming and realize that you have full control over your emotions.

With this newfound confidence,

You approach the spider calmly,

Acknowledging your fear but refusing to cave into it.

As you gently stroke the spider's back,

You observe its intricate beauty,

Appreciating its role in the ecosystem.

And quickly you realize that it's within your power to have a similar reaction in waking life too.

Next up,

You decide to confront another fear and talk in front of a large group of people.

And as quickly as you can think of it,

The beach dissolves and a new scene appears.

You find yourself standing in front of a vast audience in a huge auditorium.

This fear would typically overcome you,

But here,

In your lucid state,

You're determined to overcome it.

And so,

With a deep breath in,

You remind yourself that you're dreaming and that there's nothing to fear.

It's up to you how you respond to this situation.

As you step forward to the podium,

Draw strength from your lucidity and begin to confidently share your thoughts and ideas,

Captivating the audience with your passion.

As the talk unfolds,

You remember that it's within your power to be confident in waking life too.

But now,

You wonder,

Still buzzing from the public talk,

Your mind turns to an old friend you fell out with many years ago.

You've been actively avoiding him ever since the falling out.

And just like that,

Once again,

The dream changes,

From the auditorium to your old friend's house.

You look around.

The house appears just how you remember it.

And so,

Still lucid,

You approach your old friend with empathy.

What do you want?

He asks,

Visibly upset.

Hey,

It's been a while,

You say softly with a smile.

From there,

You engage in a heartfelt conversation,

Expressing your emotions and listening to his perspective.

Soon,

He comes around and you reconcile,

Finding closure,

Forgiveness and a renewed connection.

The talk heals the wounds of the past and provides you with a sense of inner peace.

I should really reach out to him in waking life too,

You think,

And turn my dreams into reality.

Throughout this life-changing lucid dream,

You confronted various fears,

By leaning into them instead of recoiling from them,

You gained new insights,

Resilience and strength.

When you wake up,

You'll bring these lessons back,

Empowered to face your fears head on and pursue personal transformation.

You spent your time well in this lucid dream.

And here's to many more in the future.

And here's to embodying the lessons learned.

If you listened to this lucid dreaming story just for fun,

I hope you enjoyed it.

And if you listened for induction purposes,

Then I hope this parting message now finds you relaxed.

Your lucid dreaming seeds have been sown,

Your mind has been primed.

And so with that,

I draw this session to a close.

Remember you are a lucid dreamer.

Never forget it.

Happy dreaming.
