Intuition Nook Guided Meditation Get in a comfortable position where you won't be disturbed for the next few minutes.

This could be sitting or lying down where your neck is comfortable,

Your legs are relaxed and you can fully sink down as we meditate together.

Shut your eyes.

They might feel weary or dry,

Tired because you haven't slept or you've been staring at screens for hours.

All of that is perfectly okay.

All you need to think about right now is the sound of my voice as I guide you through this experience.

Pay attention to your breathing.

You don't need to breathe and deliberately slowly or particularly deeply.

I want you to breathe normally however you need to.

You might find your breaths quicken or slow down and that's perfectly okay too.

It's your body working however it needs to,

To keep you relaxed and focused at this present moment.

Now let your mind drift to how your body is feeling.

Are you tense,

Tight or tired?

What can help is working from the very tips of your toes,

Scrunching and tensing the muscles in your feet,

Holding them for a few seconds and letting them go slack.

Can you feel the difference?

Doesn't that feel amazing?

The contrast of tense and relaxed.

Now gradually work your way up your body.

Tense your calves for a few seconds and then release.

And now your thighs.

Tense your thigh muscles until they feel tight,

Not too much and remember to keep breathing and release.

Your thighs carry a lot of stress especially if you've been seated for a long period so paying them some extra attention will help them feel warm and relaxed.

Moving up to your stomach,

Tense the muscles in your core for a few moments and release.

Next I want you to move your attention to your shoulders and arms.

If you're anxious,

Worried or stressed so much of that is held in these parts of your body and squeezing those muscles until they're tight.

Holding and then releasing can do wonders.

You will feel much more relaxed,

Warm and ready to go on a meditation adventure.

I want you to imagine in your mind's eye that you're walking slowly through a wondrous forest of majestic fir trees.

Snow is softly falling around you but the thick trees are stopping the breeze from blowing through your coat so you feel quite warm.

There's a blanket of snow on the ground.

You can smell the pine scent of the trees around you and hear the crunch of fresh undisturbed snow underfoot.

The sound is soothing to you.

It feels therapeutic to listen to your rhythmic footsteps.

Your cheeks and nose are red from the cold but you're bundled up in a cozy woollen scarf and hat.

There's a comfortable,

Peaceful silence in the forest as if it's holding its breath for you as you make your way through.

Patiently it's waiting and guiding you and you feel safe and secure to go at your own pace.

Right now as you walk steadily through the frosty clearing,

You spot a small log cabin off a little way in the distance.

The windows have a warm,

Cozy orange glow and there's a small stream of smoke coming from the chimney.

Seeing this log cabin ahead fills you with warmth and a sense of relaxation as you imagine what might be inside.

A welcome sight as the light is fading fast and you're looking forward to resting your tired feet.

You continue to trudge through the beautifully untouched layer of snow closer and closer to the cabin.

You stomp your heavy boots up the outside wooden steps of the porch,

Surrounded now by twinkling fairy lights and warm candlelit lanterns,

Knocking the snow off your feet before walking up to the front door.

Your heart is filled with anticipation as you notice a small handwritten note on the door.

In loopy handwriting it reads,

A hearty welcome to the forest cabin.

Inside is everything you need to relax and rest.

Enjoy and stay as long as you like.

Somehow the cabin feels like home but you've never been here before.

Slowly you turn the brass doorknob and the warmth hits your cold face immediately as you open the door,

Just like sinking into a hot bubble bath after a long day.

As you walk inside you notice the cabin is lit up entirely by the roaring fire in the log burner and a few clustered candles in nooks around the room.

A gigantic squashy sofa beckons with a soft blanket and cushions.

First you pull off your heavy coat,

Hat,

Scarf and gloves,

Setting your boots to one side.

The contrast between the weight of your outer clothes and the feeling of taking them off is deliciously relieving.

There's a small rustic table laid out with a steaming mug of your favorite hot drink.

Helping yourself you sit comfortably down on the chair.

You begin warming up immediately,

Sinking your tired feet into the sheepskin rug that's decorating the floor in front of the fire.

The warm mug heats up your cold fingertips and you inhale the scent and steam rising from it.

Taking a gulp you feel the warm comforting liquid soothe your throat and you feel its warmth radiate your body,

Spreading down into your chest,

Your stomach and spreading through your arms and legs.

Relief and tranquility wash over you and you feel at peace.

Taking a few moments to sit in the quiet all you can hear is the crackling fire and slight whistle of the wind from outside.

All is calm,

You feel peaceful and nothing is troubling you.

You can feel your body sinking even further down into the sofa,

The cushions cradling your body.

Any stress,

Tension or discomfort simply begin to evaporate as you rest in the blissful peace and quiet.

In this moment nothing else matters.

You know that you are welcome to stay sitting in comfort for as long as you need to.

You Warm,

Comfortable and relaxed you finish up the last of your drink and set the mug down.

You are feeling content and happy.

You know that whenever you need to you can come back through the forest and visit the log cabin at any time.

For now you are ready to wake up your muscles by wiggling your fingers and toes and gently rolling your head from side to side,

Feeling the gentle stretch.

Take a deep steady breath in,

Fill your lungs with air and breathe out.

Reach out in front of you or above your head extending your arms all the way through your fingertips.

Feel the warmth in your arms and bring them back down.

Slowly open your eyes there's no need to rush.

Gradually get familiar with your surroundings again and when you're ready you can get up and carry on with the rest of your day.

Thank you so much for joining me and see you in the cabin again soon.
