This is a guided meditation for healing.

Healing is a lifelong journey.

When you are born,

You are this brand new bundle of existence with your eyes wide open,

Wanting to soak up every little piece of information that passes you by.

Then you experience different life's challenges that impact your mind,

Body,

And soul.

To heal these challenges,

You have to do some work.

This guided meditation is a tool that you can use to get back to basics.

To spend some time reconnecting with your breath and in turn reconnect with your inner self.

Filling your own cup will give you fuel to do that healing work and have more energy to give.

You can do this meditation any time of day.

Get yourself into a comfortable position for you.

Start to notice your breath.

Notice if you have any tension in your breathing.

Do you have more air filling your stomach and less in your upper chest or vice versa?

Most people tend to hold tension in the upper chest when stressed.

It's a natural response when you're not breathing correctly,

Which is completely normal.

Without forcing or changing anything,

Take a few more breaths.

The natural rise and fall of breathing should begin in your stomach and work its way up to your upper chest.

On your next breath in,

Slowly start to fill up your stomach.

Slowly start to move up to your lungs,

Expanding your diaphragm until you feel the breath moving up,

Rising into your upper chest.

On your breath out,

Start to feel the upper chest start to deflate.

Then your diaphragm into your belly where the breath will begin again.

Also make sure to observe the space in between the breath.

Take a few breaths here on your own,

Observing the gentle rise and fall,

Bringing breath into areas of tension.

Now that you have brought attention to those areas of tension in your breathing,

Let it go and just breathe naturally.

Over the next few minutes,

Bring the words,

I am loved and I am safe into your mind if it begins to wander.

Breathe in,

I am loved.

Breathe out,

I am safe.

When you hear this sound,

It will be time to come back into your body.

Gently start to bring your awareness back into your body.

Move your fingers and toes.

During your healing journey,

Remember to take time to come to your breath.

It's a first step in getting connected to your inner self and connect to those deeper spaces in need of healing.

Be kind to yourself.

Forgive yourself.

You are a warrior.

The wound is a place where light enters you.

Take one last inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Gently flutter your eyes open and slowly go about your day with the reassurance that you are loved and you are safe.

Much love from me to you in your healing journey.

You you you
