Hello and welcome.

My name is Sade Simone.

In today's practice,

We're going to recite a prayer.

And this happens to be one of the Dalai Lama's favorite prayers.

It is extracted from a guide to the Bodhisattva way of life.

And you may wish to just hear the words and allow them to permeate your mind and to connect with the spiritual heart.

By virtue of my merits,

May no living creature suffer,

Commit evil or ever fall ill.

May no one be afraid or belittled with a mind weighed down by depression.

May the blind see forms.

May the deaf hear sounds.

May those whose bodies are worn with toil be restored when finding repose.

May the naked find clothing.

May the hungry find food.

May the thirsty find water and delicious drinks.

May the poor find wealth.

Those weak with sorrow find joy.

May the forerunner find hope.

May there be timely rain and light.

May the poor find wealth.

May there be constant happiness and prosperity.

May there be timely rains and bountiful harvests.

May all medicines be effective and wholesome prayers bear fruit.

May all who are sick and ill quickly be freed from their ailments.

Whatever diseases there are in the world,

May they never occur again.

May the frightened cease to be afraid.

May the frightened cease to be afraid.

Those bound to be freed.

May the powerless find power.

And may people think of benefiting each other.

For as long as space remains.

For as long as sentient beings remain.

For as long as sentient beings remain.

Until then,

May I too remain to dispel the miseries of the world.

Thank you for watching!

I really liked this. My husband didn’t like how each verse repeated, but I loved it, because of the brain issues I’m healing. Thank you!

I wish that everyone could hear this daily. It has the power to reach down to soul level and remind us that we are love and healing and that we can see and make and be the change. We can help eachother.
