Angel Cape

Just relax,

Make yourself comfortable and settle into the surface supporting you.

Take yourself inwards,

Into that space behind your eyes,

To that soft dark space where it is warm and safe.

Just stand there in that space and feel yourself relax.

Just relax.

As you stand there you feel a light shining on your head and as you watch the light circles around your body,

Round and around and around and around until it forms a ball of light and you are encased in a ball of light,

Soft and white.

It makes you feel lovely and relaxed and safe.

And as you watch the ball hardens and becomes crystal,

Smooth and clear and you are in a safe crystal ball.

You can see through it.

You are safe and protected.

You realize the base of your ball is soft and you can sit down.

You touch the side of the ball with your hands and you feel the smoothness.

Not hot,

Not soft,

Not hot,

Not cold,

Just smooth and warm.

You find you can turn the ball with your hands.

You can move and as you move the ball you feel the ball rise.

Rise up out of the space that is you.

Up and up.

Up into the atmosphere.

Up higher and higher and higher until you are so high it is becoming dark and you are out there in the universe just moving slowly as if there is hardly any motion at all.

Warm and safe in your crystal ball.

Out further and further.

And you are suspended in space,

Crossing all time.

You notice little lights are starting to appear in the sky,

Pinpricks of stars in the distance.

One of those stars is brighter than the others and you feel that your ball is heading towards it,

Moving closer and closer,

Closer into the light.

Your ball of light is moving into the light and you are surrounded by light,

Brighter and brighter.

You feel the ball stopping and then it is still and the light seems to move away a little and you find that you are in the most beautiful room,

A room of light.

In the centre of the room is a soft easy chair and on the easy chair is a cloak,

Like a cape.

You love to be on that chair with that cape around you and you stand up in your crystal ball and it opens and dissolves away from you.

And you can step into that room,

Walk across the floor and pick up the cape.

It is soft,

Light,

Made of angels feathers.

You put the cape over your shoulders and wrap it around you and you curl up on the easy chair,

Snug and warm and safe.

And the soft light is all around you.

And you feel as if you are being held in arms,

Strong arms,

Soft arms,

Gentle arms,

Enveloped in the cape.

You are wrapped in the arms of love.

Suspended in the arms of love.

Caressed in the arms of love.

Cradled in the arms of love.

Silent,

Peaceful,

Tender.

And you feel a kiss on your brow,

On your eyelids,

On your lips,

A kiss of love.

And you relax there,

Totally at peace.

And now it is as if there is a bubble of joy within you,

Expanding and filling you,

Until it bursts out of you or over you.

And the joy of love surrounds you.

And you sit there,

Relaxed,

And just feel love.

Feel it spread out from you and in you,

All over and around you.

And as you sit there in love,

You realize that it's always there.

You can always access it.

You can always enter the space behind your eyes and travel in the crystal ball to the place where love is,

To the heart of love.

It's time now to replace the cape.

You take it off and you put it on the chair.

When you look back to where your crystal ball was,

It is reformed.

It is waiting for you.

You walk over and you can step through the light of the ball into it,

Into your safe cocoon.

It lifts gently back into the night,

Back into the universal sky of darkness.

The light of your star fades and becomes a pinprick as you move back,

Back,

Back through time and space,

Back to the place where you were,

Back to the place behind your eyes.

And your crystal ball diffuses into light and the light fades and you are back in that safe space,

Your own space.

And you bring with you all those feelings you have,

The peace,

The silence,

The feeling of being safe and happy,

The joy of love.

And with those feelings,

Become aware again of your body.

And bring yourself back,

Back to this time and this place and this space.
