Resilience is the capacity to adjust, triumph, and even develop in the face of challenging circumstances like loss, illness, a protracted period of poor economic conditions, or any challenging circumstance that life throws our way.
We are all going to experience and go through difficult situations because they are part of life, we will feel that everything crumbles at some point and that perhaps we have no ground to stand on. Because life is change and all situations are impermanent, both good and bad.
Resilience is in most people, since many of us have gone through adversity and suffering and we have been able to adapt and even grow personally and spiritually, so resilience is an innate quality in human beings, but it can also be trained, for when these situations come or if you are already going through a difficult time. Trying to keep your boat rocking but not sinking.
Through mindfulness, and the study of resilience I have created this course to accompany you and give you tools so that you can maintain serenity in the storm. So that life can shake you but not knock you down and to learn from all this process that you are going through.
I know it is difficult to see clearly, but people who overcome a difficult process with resilience are stronger, more empathetic and compassionate with themselves and with others. I will be waiting for you in the first session to go through the course of this wonderful journey called life, with its lights and shadows.
