In today's Joy Work lesson we are going to focus on springing up from the heart.
Let's begin with my poem called Heart.
All of us have a heart.
It is hidden like a star in the dark.
We hold our chests like blankets over it,
Comforting,
Shielding the spark.
One day we dare to let it out.
We share with one other beating drum human with a rhythm in his chest.
We call this love.
We say we promise to know each other best.
All promises come to an end.
It is not a problem.
The sooner we accept this,
The sooner we add a friend.
All people have a heart.
Its purpose is to give us a song so we can write lyrics that become the anthem to our creative part.
The important thing is to start.
This is how we make art.
It is also how we make love.
All the rest is apples sitting in a market cart.
This week I encourage you to take some time to journal about the project you want to complete this year.
Answering the following questions will allow you to start moving now.
To start planting and sprouting and springing without waiting.
So let's get started.
Write in response to each of these statements for two minutes.
Do not edit or cross out.
Just write what wants to be written.
Let your hand keep moving.
