If you see the Corona Virus or any other crises as something that you need to fight, then you are not really paying attention and you are missing an opportunity here. See this situation as an invitation to be in relationship with the nature of you. This meditation will guide you to your inner self, from where new realizations and creative ideas can arise. This will help you to act with a commitment to growth.

Transcript

We start with breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth.

And when you breathe out please let go of the stress you're feeling right now.

And just see if you're sitting or lying down comfortably.

Maybe you need to correct your pose.

Let your body become really heavy.

You may relax all your muscles right now.

And we're going to start with a simple breathing exercise to get you in touch with your body away from the monkey mind.

So when you breathe in you activate all your muscles by stretching them.

And when you breathe out you slowly relax all your muscles again.

When you breathe in you breathe through your nose.

And when you breathe out you breathe out through your mouth.

So breathe in through your nose and stretch all your muscles.

And breathe out through your mouth and relax all your muscles.

So breathe in,

Tense,

Breathe out and let go.

Breathe in,

Tense,

Out and slowly let go.

Breathe in and hold your muscles.

And let go.

And now when you breathe in hold your breath and hold your muscles.

Breathe out and relax.

One more time.

Breathe in,

Tense,

Keep holding,

Breathe out and let go.

Now you can relax all your muscles.

Relax and let go.

And sink a bit deeper and deeper and deeper and let go.

And now breathe in and out only through your nose.

And observe your breath.

Notice your breath going slow now.

And become aware how you are feeling right now.

And try not to use your mind.

Let your mind not interfere.

Just observe your feelings,

Your body.

Can you look at yourself without any judgments?

How is your energy level at this moment?

Do you feel pain somewhere?

And please no thoughts about why you have this pain.

As it is what it is right now.

Do you feel an emotion going through your body?

Like some kind of worry or fear or frustration?

Or are you completely at peace?

And please note nothing is right or wrong.

Again no judging.

By all means let's at least be kind to ourselves during this time.

Maybe you have had enough of this lockdown situation.

But are you ready to go back to your normal life again?

If you see the coronavirus as something that you need to fight.

Then you are not really paying attention and you are missing an opportunity here.

In any case it has nothing to do with all these conspiracy theories you hear people talking about.

That means you are blaming others for this situation.

Please see this situation as an opportunity of self-correction.

That is what our planet is expecting of us right now.

Did you find the time,

The peace to feel or think about what changes you can make?

Or are you confused about this situation?

And you didn't get any real peace yet for yourself to find answers to such questions.

Maybe you are working very hard doing your shifts.

Maybe you are trying to keep everything running at home and making sure everyone in your family is happy.

Maybe loneliness is absorbing all your energy.

Maybe your darker side is emerging much more these days.

You feel that you are showing this side too much now to your loved ones.

Maybe this hurts.

Maybe you feel sad about this.

Maybe even embarrassed.

Normally this side of you isn't so much visible because you are out and about.

Maybe you feel like hiding.

Maybe you are frustrated and you long for some time for yourself.

This is all okay.

We all are different.

We all have different sides.

A coin also has two sides.

Embrace the darker side of yourself as well.

We are all human and there is nothing to be ashamed of.

So we are actually all the same.

Try to look at your situation from a distance.

Like taking a step back inside of you and then looking at yourself without judgment.

Just observe this human being,

This soul doing the best he or she can do.

Maybe some of your values are changing because of this process we are in.

Now ask yourself,

Do you really just want to go back to how things were?

Or do you feel somewhere deep inside a need for change?

See this as an invitation to be in relationship with the nature of you.

What world do you want to build for yourself?

You were prepared to go through this crisis.

Now take your toolbox and use all the tools at your disposal.

I will guide you how to do this.

Now bring your awareness towards your heart center.

Take another deep breath.

And breathe out.

And one more time,

Another deep breath.

And breathe out.

Feel your heart.

Your heart center.

Open your heart.

And visualize your heart as a deep well.

And now drop a coin into the well.

See how the coin falls down.

Deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper.

Until it reaches the bottom of your heart.

And now cherish that sense of stillness.

This silence is omnipresent.

In this silent stillness,

When perhaps not even a thought arises inside of you,

Your own self is rooted.

This is supreme peace,

Silent,

Motionless,

Like a rope.

That all of us can access it from within.

It is an open space of possibilities,

Where new realizations and insights and creative ideas can arise.

It is when you feel this breakthrough in your awareness,

As if you have clearly entered a larger and wider dimension of light.

It is very harmonious and of great beauty.

Where you can feel a sense of release from the burdens,

Obligations and insecurities that sometimes put so much pressure on us in our everyday challenges in life.

And maybe you realize that within this peaceful inner space,

You don't always need to react to everything directly.

But that there is a sense of freedom not to react out of habit,

Impulse or ego.

But rather,

As you recognize this space within,

And you become aware of it,

You have the choice to act with wisdom and love and with a commitment to growth.

Now you can move your fingers and your toes a little bit.

Really become aware of where you are right now.

Maybe you want to stretch yourself completely.

And please remember that you have a choice to act with love.

Hoi Anne Ja mijn eerste meditatie in het Engels… en zeker niet de laatste keer… Ik was benieuwd & bang hoe ik zou ervaren… misschien te veel in mijn hoofd..
