Harness the power of your seven chakras in this mantra and visualization-based meditation. You'll be guided through a journey through your seven chakras, starting at the base of your spine, and three mantras for each of the seven chakras, to balance and harness their power and full potential. You'll feel safe, supple, powerful, loved, heard, intuitive and limitless. This practice is most potent when practiced in the morning before starting your day, or at the end of your day, before you go to bed.

Welcome to this journey through the seven chakras,

Your energy centers in your body.

Come into a comfortable seated position which could be on a chair,

A cushion,

A block,

Or even directly in contact with the earth beneath you.

As you exhale,

Let your pelvis be heavy,

Allowing its weight to settle evenly downwards and feel the draw of gravity downwards towards the earth.

As you inhale,

Let your spine and your body relax and grow upwards.

Allow the architecture within yourself to support all that is inside of you.

If it feels good to you,

You can allow your spine to gently sway left,

Front,

And back,

Negotiating and slowly finding that space and place where you are neither leaning into the future nor falling back into the past.

You are here right in this present moment.

Once you arrive in that place and space,

Allow the three curves of your spine,

Your heart,

Your lungs,

And your mind to settle there.

Allow your arms to gently relax,

Letting any tension melt away from them.

Allow them to fall wherever they feel comfortable.

Let your palms face upwards if you'd like to share your energy or receive answers.

And let your palms face down if you're feeling more introspective or if you'd like to conserve your energy.

Allow your jaw to soften and let your tongue lay comfortably in your mouth.

You may wish to allow your eyes to stay open,

Holding a soft gaze,

Or let your eyes close,

Resting underneath the blankets of your eyelids.

We commence your journey by bringing your awareness inwards to discover this ever-occurring miracle that is your breath.

Feel that as you inhale,

You could follow your inhale like a surfer riding the waves behind you.

Follow every millimeter of your inhale and your exhale.

Notice as you connect to your breath,

Everything that's sitting just beneath the surface,

Mentally,

Emotionally,

Even physically,

It starts to come up and rise.

As you exhale,

Allow this to slowly settle and continue to be with the flow of your inhale and your exhale.

Staying with your breath,

Allow your awareness to descend down your body,

Moving through your spine like a plumb line down.

Allow your awareness to descend down,

Down,

Down.

Drop your focus down your body and as you breathe in,

Feel yourself connecting low into the very root of your body,

Into your sacrum,

Your pelvic floor.

Connect to your breath,

And allow your awareness to descend down your body,

Into your sacrum,

Your pelvic floor.

Allow your awareness to descend down,

Down,

Down.

Connect to your breath,

Allow your awareness to descend down,

Down,

Down.

Drop your focus down your body,

Widen your inhale into this earthly area of your body.

Notice if there is any holding in your body and as you exhale,

Soften and release this holding,

This tension.

You are safe,

You are taken care of,

You are supported.

Repeat these mantras,

I am safe,

I am taken care of,

I am supported,

I am safe,

I am taken care of,

I am supported,

I am safe,

I am taken care of.

Allow your attention to rise further up towards your reproductive organs,

Your lower back,

Kidneys,

Your adrenal glands,

And if you wish,

Gently place one palm on the back of the area of your pelvis.

Feel the warmth of your palm on the back of your pelvis.

In your sacrum,

Your hypogastric plexus,

Sits your sacral chakra,

Your svadhisthana,

Which governs your right to feel,

To enjoy pleasure,

And to express creatively.

Here,

Feel that you could inhale and breathe into the back of your body and sense that you are connecting with the space and place inside of you.

You are sensual,

You are supple,

You are fluid and healthy.

Repeat these mantras with me,

I am sensual,

I am supple,

I am fluid and healthy,

Allow your attention to rise further up along your lumbar spine,

Moving your palm over your navel center,

Letting it rest gently over your belly button.

This space is called the solar plexus,

Your manipura chakra.

This is where you were connected with your mother as an embryo through the umbilical cord,

And nearby are your adrenal glands,

Which regulates the hormones cortisol and adrenaline in your body.

This space empowers you to relate to your agni,

Your inner fire,

Which governs transformation and your ability to digest not just food,

And drink,

But also situations,

Relationships,

Words,

Thoughts,

And perceptions.

This relates to your right to act and your personal power.

Breathe into this realm of your body and feel your fire being purified and nurtured.

Here,

Know that you are confident,

You are empowered,

You act rightfully.

Repeat these mantras with me.

Let your awareness rise further up to your thoracic spine,

To the space between your breast bones,

Your heart.

Let your palm gently rest here on your cardiac plexus.

Here lies your anahata,

Your heart chakra,

Which governs your right to love and be loved.

Your heart is embraced by your lungs.

Here,

As you breathe in,

Feel your prana,

Your vital life force energy through your lungs and your heart area.

And as you exhale,

Enjoy this lightness,

Ease and mobility like a cool breeze.

Allow this air to carry this openness and free flowing energy throughout your entire body.

Here,

Know that you are love,

You are loving,

You are love itself.

Repeat these mantras with me.

Continue to journey upwards from your thoracic spine to your cervical spine,

Your neck,

And let your awareness reside in your throat plexus,

Close to your thyroid glands.

Gently let your palm rest on your throat and connect with your vishuddha,

Your throat chakra,

Which governs your right to speak and to be heard.

Feel the element of spaciousness emanate and spread and connect with your inner voice.

Know that when you speak,

People listen.

You are honored and you speak from a place of true alignment with your values,

Your longings,

Your inner voice.

What truly matters to you,

You speak your truth.

Repeat these mantras with me.

Guide your awareness further up from your throat to the space between your eyebrows,

Your ajna,

Your third eye chakra.

Behind this area sits your perineal plexus and your pituitary gland.

And this area empowers you to connect with your intuition,

Your ability to see beyond the surface,

To dream,

Vision,

And intuit.

Here,

Visualize a light illuminating everything as it is,

Without the filter of your past,

Your expectations,

Or your judgment.

You trust your intuition.

Even when situations are difficult,

Things are challenging,

You know what to do.

You see past the noise to connect with your vision.

Repeat these mantras with me.

Allow your awareness to float further up towards the crown of your head,

Where your crown plexus is.

At your crown chakra,

Connect with freedom.

Visualize a vastness like an endless bright blue sky.

All seven chakras aligned in your sushumna,

Your central channel.

Realize and remember that you are the bridge between earth and sky,

More than your feelings and your thoughts,

Neither your body nor your mind.

Remember once more your true nature.

You are universal consciousness,

A never-ending pulsation that is neither limited by space,

Nor time.

From this remembering to overflow,

This bliss to resonate throughout.

Repeat these mantras.

I feel that all seven of your chakras have now been blessed,

Welcomed,

Harmonized.

Notice any sensations,

Feelings,

Thoughts,

Or memories arising.

Let them slowly simmer,

Gently settle into your breath.

Noticing the slight pause before each inhale and the slight pause before each exhale.

Slowly bring your hands together in Anjali Mudra.

Prayer palms in front of your heart.

Send gladness to your body,

Your mind,

All seven of your chakras.

Send it to everyone,

Everything,

All the circumstances that made it possible for you to be here now.

Gently bow your head down,

Letting your mind bow to your heart.

Gently release your palms so that your palms rest on your lap.

Bring this energy with you into the rest all.

A beautifully guided journey from the base of our energy channel, to the crown, with lovely, resonant mantras throughout. I would've loved some extra space between each chakra to settle in to my own experience & receiving of insights from Wenlin's guidance.
