Find your way to a comfortable position,

Either seated or laying down.

When you feel ready,

Gently closing down your eyes.

Take any adjustments that you need to then eventually make your way towards stillness.

As you find this stillness,

Notice the remaining movement of your breath as it naturally travels in and back out.

Observe the breath in these moments.

Now notice your body,

Your vessel.

As you inhale,

The body expands.

And as you exhale,

The release of breath allows the body to soften and empty.

Imagine the outline of your physical body being traced from the top of your head all the way around to the base of your seat,

The soles of your feet,

Outlining the entire form of your being.

Breathing into this outline,

This perimeter of your physical vessel.

And as you breathe out,

Allow everything to empty from that shape.

Inhale,

Retrace the outline of your form,

Defining the outer edges of your physical being.

And as you exhale,

Empty the contents,

Allow there to be space,

An empty vessel.

And as you continue with this visualization,

We become a little bit more attuned to the details of the body.

As you trace the outline,

Notice sensation or strain.

As you exhale,

Allow these to be opportunities to create a little more space to let go and release.

And as you observe the body,

You might notice spaces of tension or expectation built up within you.

And just notice that.

Inhaling to observe,

To identify.

Exhaling it all out with the breath.

Let yourself be empty to what arises as you take your next inhale breath.

Through this clarified lens,

You might notice sensations in the body that you have not noticed yet.

Can you begin to become aware of repetitive thoughts,

Feelings,

Or ideas?

Let them go with your exhale breath.

With this space,

We breathe in,

Allowing for newness,

Information from the body,

Your inner world to be shared with you,

To be unfolded.

It's normal that thoughts will find their way back into your inner space and that's okay.

Every new wave of breath is an opportunity to release and to empty once more.

As you repeat this visualization of the breath clearing the body,

Your vessel,

Continue to notice what arises for you and then simply let it go.

When we allow ourselves to be empty of judgment,

Tension,

And past experiences,

We free ourselves to the present moment and all that it can be.

Returning to your breath once again,

Visualizing the outline of your physical form as the inhale traces your entire body.

Allow the exhale to soften and release.

You can repeat this technique whenever you start to feel overwhelmed or filled with thoughts or tension in the physical body,

Inviting this space to return back to your vessel.

When you're ready to complete this practice,

We'll begin by gently moving our hands across the outer surface of our vessel,

Beginning to reconnect to the outer world of warmth and sensation on your skin.

Taking a deep,

Long,

Slow inhale.

The whole body exhales as you release,

Letting it go.

Softly open your eyes.

May you be open to the newness of every moment.

Have a beautiful rest of your day.
