Welcome to Fit2Mind.

In today's meditation we will be using the imagery of a waterfall to cleanse us energetically,

Emotionally or of anything that we are holding onto in this moment.

So settle yourself in,

Whether you are seated or lying down,

Making any appropriate adjustments as you need to,

Closing the eyes now,

Deepening,

Slowing down the breath,

Feeling that gentle breeze,

The wind swirling around in your lungs and as you draw it in through the nose,

Filling up the belly,

Up through the ribs and all the way to the chest,

Slowly drinking in each breath,

Just feeling the breath moving through the body,

Sensationalizing the breath.

Perhaps you just feel the body respond by moving with the breath or perhaps you are feeling the breath enter through the nostrils,

Down the nasal passageways,

You might even be able to feel the breath gently caressing the back of the throat.

Then see if you can start to visualize the breath as a current of air,

A visual wind that you can see being drawn into the body and then seeing that same breath,

That current of air releasing from the body.

Notice any colors that you may see or lack of color.

What does it visually look like as you breathe in this air?

And then imagine yourself sitting just in front of a waterfall.

You can hear the rushing sound of water behind you and you can feel the immense energy that this waterfall has and through your body you can feel the base,

That thunderous roar of the waterfall crashes into the water below.

The high vibrancy and energy of the cascading waters meeting the stillness below.

Then you can see in front of you the water as it moves away from the waterfall,

Narrowing into a trickling gentle stream once again.

The water is washing away,

The energy moving,

Continuously moving.

Does this waterfall have a color or is it clear?

Is it made of all the colors?

Notice what color is sticking out in your mind,

The one you can easily visualize.

And see that waterfall in that color,

Cascading behind you,

Flowing from top to bottom.

Now imagine yourself leaning back and dipping your head underneath the waterfall.

Feel that rush of water massaging the crown of your head,

Running through your hair and over your face.

Visualize the color of that water,

Not too forceful,

A beautiful delicious massage as it cascades over you.

Imagining this water cleansing away any negative stuck thoughts,

Any clutter in the mind,

Busyness,

Worries or anything that you want to clear from the mind.

Allow this water to cleanse it away as it showers over you.

And as it cleanses the mind,

Notice how the forehead softens,

The scalp softens,

The muscles around the face and jaw eased into relaxation.

The whole head,

Neck,

Face relaxing from this massage as the waterfall cleanses the mind.

Visualize yourself leaning a little further back,

Dipping your shoulders underneath this waterfall,

Allowing that water to now massage the shoulders,

Washing over them,

Cleansing away the tension,

Washing away the weight we carry on our shoulders.

Feeling that water so deliciously massaging the body,

Releasing what we hold onto here in the shoulders.

Feeling the shoulders beginning to relax and that colorful water washing away all that we no longer need to carry and to hold here.

We lean back a little bit further so the waterfall is now washing over our chest,

Washing over the seat of our heart.

We feel the massage here of the water,

Imagining and visualizing the colorful water gently flowing over the chest,

Softening,

Relaxing the space around the heart.

That waterfall cleansing away any negative energy,

Any tension,

Any holding,

Any unforgiveness.

Feeling that magical waterfall wash it all away and feel the body soften in response.

In that softening there is that sense of opening once again.

Take a deep breath here into the heart space,

How good it feels to be sitting beneath this waterfall.

Then shifting your whole body back so that you are fully sitting below the waterfall,

The running water showering upon you,

Washing away all that no longer serves you,

All that makes you feel heavy and dull,

All that takes from your energy,

Washing it all away.

Just thinking for a moment of what is no longer serving you in this moment,

What is it you would like to release,

To let go of,

To wash away with this magical waterfall.

Imagine seeing the water running in a different color now in that stream below.

As the water washes over the body it changes as it reaches the ground and the earth where it is carried away.

Notice these changing colors,

Visualizing what is no longer serving you,

Releasing and being carried on down the stream.

Notice how there is that constant flow of energy pouring over you and through you and away from you,

That constant feeling of being cleansed and renewed,

The massaging of these waters softening,

Relaxing the tension in the body.

Only feeling clean,

We have washed away anything that is stuck in our energies,

Anything that dulls our brilliance,

Our shine.

Stepping out of the waterfall and noticing how you feel.

Take a deep breath into this new space.

Notice how your body feels,

That feeling of stepping out of the shower every day,

Feeling a little fresher,

A little lighter,

A little more ready to take on the day.

Perhaps our energy feels refreshed.

Perhaps we feel a little lighter from anything that we were carrying.

Take one more breath here and a gentle sigh.

And imagining that color once again,

That radiant color of your waterfall and imagining that same color as a soft glowing light that surrounds the whole body in warmth.

Like wrapping yourself up in a warm towel after a shower.

Feeling that warm light wrapping your whole body,

Bathing it,

Feeling like a warm loving hug and know that this light is always around you,

Supporting you in every moment.

And in that warm hug,

We're invited to stay soft and relaxed for as long as possible.

And when that towel of light falls off again and we feel ourselves layering on negative energy or debris that dulls our polish,

Sit yourself back within these waters and allow that color to wash over you once again,

Like taking an energetic bath.

Let the waters flow over you,

Washing away all that is no longer serving,

Leaving behind the feeling of lightness,

Of cleansing,

Of releasing.
