In today's session, we will spend a few sacred moments, connecting to source, whatever that means to you. For some, it means our highest self, for others, it means a higher intelligence, the universe, God, or simply presence. Whatever your 'source' image is, let us spend a few moments plugging into that. We all know how important it is to 'plug-in' our phones to recharge, but do we take the time or put a value on 'plugging into' and connecting to our source? To recharge ourselves on a spiritual level.

Welcome to Fit to Mind.

In today's session,

We're going to spend a few sacred moments connecting to Source.

Whatever that word Source might mean to you,

For some it means our highest self.

For others it means the universe,

That higher intelligence,

God.

Whatever your Source image relationship is,

We're going to spend a few moments plugging into that.

We know it's important to plug in our phones every day to make sure the battery is fully charged,

To consume the right amount of food,

Vitamins,

Minerals,

Calories,

To make sure we have enough energy for the day,

And to get enough sleep and rest so that we can go on through our day.

But do we often take time or put value in connecting to Source,

Plugging in and recharging from a spiritual level?

Whatever that means to you,

It could simply just mean presence,

A sense of being.

That's what this practice is all about,

It is just simply being.

And as we sit,

And as we open,

We listen,

We absorb,

Perhaps we might even get little moments of insight or guidance.

So let's take a moment just to make sure we are in a comfortable seat and taking any last final adjustments that you may need.

Close your eyes.

On your next breath,

Take a deep and full breath,

Feel your whole lungs filling and filling and filling,

And a gentle sigh.

And allowing the breath to settle on a natural rhythm.

And allow your mind to settle on that rhythm.

Your attention to rest on the breath.

On the rise and fall,

The ebb and flow of the breath,

Just as it is.

And as you follow this rhythm of your breath,

Can you broaden your awareness to notice and take in the sounds,

The senses,

The space that is around you,

Becoming more present to what you can hear,

What you can feel,

All that you can notice right now in this moment.

And as you observe,

Allow yourself to soften into that.

There is a sense of alertness and presence,

But it's a relaxed presence.

The body is soft,

The shoulders are dropped,

The forehead is smooth,

The jaw is at rest,

The breath is slow and deep.

Allowing ourselves to fully be right here in this moment.

Right here in this moment.

I ask you now to bring your awareness to your heart.

Feel your breath at your heart,

Sensations around the heart.

You may even bring one hand to the heart.

And at the same time,

Bring your awareness to the forehead,

To that eyebrow center.

Perhaps it is physically the touch of a hand or just the mental awareness.

Making this bridge and connection between heart and mind so that the two may work together rather than against one another.

Moving into a place that is heart-minded.

Moving into a place that is of our highest self,

When our hearts and minds are aligned.

Take a moment to visualize that connection.

Visualize it in a thread of light,

Connecting the mind with the heart,

The heart back up to the mind.

And imagine your breath here.

The breath entering into the forehead eyebrow center,

Traveling all the way down into the heart.

And then leaving the heart and following that road back up to the mind eyebrow center.

Tracing this bridge of heart-mind with the breath.

And then imagine a point above the top of your head,

In the sky,

The space above your body.

Imagine another point to build this bridge upon,

Uniting the heart,

The mind and source.

Take a moment to visualize that in a thread of light,

Connecting three points,

Heart,

Mind and source.

And trace your breath from top to bottom,

Bottom back up to top.

From source through mind to heart.

From heart to mind to source.

Imagine the breath entering in through the crown of the head,

Meeting past the third eye all the way down to the heart and releasing from heart,

Moving back up past third eye,

Out through the top of the head,

Connecting once again with source.

And then feel that breath drawing into your whole body all the way down to your sit bones,

The tailbone,

Your seat that is connected to the earth.

So your whole physical being is filled with that source energy.

Exiting and tracing the breath up and down,

From earth to sky,

Sky to earth.

Honoring each place as you pass,

Heart,

Mind and source.

Then relax your attention and just allow yourself to be,

To listen,

To open.

Perhaps even turning the palms of your hands upwards,

Let them rest on your knees or your lap if they're not there already.

They say prayer is when we talk to source,

Where we ask for guidance or help or support.

And meditation is where we listen and receive and absorb.

When you allow yourself that space,

That sacred space to open between you and source,

To receive all there is to receive today.

Having the breath to be your connection,

Your link.

And gently guiding yourself back whenever you get distracted,

Whenever you lose focus and connection.

Whenever we find ourselves unplugged,

Use your breath to re-establish that connection to plug back in.

Yourul anh with Remain being your connection with the And take your final moment here,

Opening,

Receiving,

Connected to source.

Notice how that feels.

Do you feel full?

Do you feel a sense of joy or peace?

Perhaps that's not what you're feeling at this moment and that too is okay.

Let's take one more breath here.

Maybe let it out with a big sigh.

Slowly slowly allowing the eyes to drift back open.

To blink back open.

Just start to notice the space you're in,

The colors you see.

Notice if that image of what you see,

That picture has changed.

It will be the same space and the same image but are the colors different?

Is the lens different?

Bring your hands to your heart and allow your mind to drop,

To meet the heart.

For yourself to bow into yourself,

Honoring this sacred space that you held for yourself today.

Thank you for practicing with us.

Until next time,

Namaste my friends.

Ty for such a beautiful meditation. Your voice is so sweet and comforting, and the meditation truly made me feel connected to Source. It's funny, I was longing for a heart-mind connection, but the title didn't even say that, and yet there is was...I will come back to this again and again. 💗
