Welcome to FitaMind Today's meditation is a short,

Quick meditation on the magic show that is life Inspired by the Radiant Sutra 79 It says,

Contemplate the entire universe as a magic show on the grandest scale imaginable.

Fabulous art.

An immense painting in motion.

God is a magician,

Whirling galaxies of fire,

Juggling atoms,

Planets and us.

Everything,

Everything is fleeting.

Meditating on this magic,

Great happiness rises in the heart.

Meditating on this magic,

Great happiness rises in the heart.

So I invite you to close your eyes or indeed keep them open if you are gazing out to the spectacle of nature around you.

Or perhaps just holding an image of the fabulous art that is this world in your mind's eye.

The changing leaves in autumn,

A confetti of orange and reds and yellows on the ground.

Glistening spiderwebs.

Rain blowing through the air.

The magical hues of a sunset and a sunrise.

And all the different colours of green from the trees to the grass,

The bushes,

The hedges,

The leaves,

The daisy in a field,

Birds in the sky.

The deep rich navy blue to the turquoise blue of the seas,

Contrasting with the golden sand.

The fire that burns in the centre of a volcano,

The snow that perches high on the mountaintops,

The vastness of our galaxy,

The immensity of space all around us.

Meditating on the magic that is this world,

That is this life.

Meditating on the miracles that happen all around us every day,

Every moment.

And as we meditate on this magic,

Great happiness rises in our heart.

An overflowing feeling of gratitude,

Of awe and wonder.

And sometimes we need to put the world in perspective again.

And when we feel the heaviness of our everyday tasks,

When the load of our responsibility feels too much,

Just to pause and meditate on the magic that we are living amongst.

Take the next few moments to do exactly that.

Meditating on this beauty,

This magic show on the grandest scale imaginable.

And coming back to your breath,

Slow deep breath in and an audible sigh.

And as we open our eyes and seeing the world as if for the first time with a renewed sparkle,

A renewed sense of awe and a heart full of happiness and gratitude.
