Welcome to this special meditation for mums and daughters where we'll take a journey through a beautiful forest together.

This meditation is dedicated to helping us open up our senses and drop into this beautiful moment.

So I invite you now to find a nice comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Make sure your head is supported if you're lying on the floor or your back if you're sitting on a chair or a cushion.

Take a moment to bring your awareness to your body and welcome it with kindness and curiosity.

Feel your body making contact with the floor.

Notice the outline of your body grounded and present and slowly releasing thoughts of your day and giving yourself full permission to be here right now in this precious moment.

Taking a slow breath in,

Notice your tummy rising as your lungs fill with air.

Holding it for a few moments and then very slowly letting all the air release.

Trying that one more time.

Inhaling,

Holding and releasing.

Letting your breathing return to its natural rhythm now.

I invite you to imagine now that you're standing in the heart of a magnificent forest.

Imagine yourself standing in this beautiful space and noticing your feet grounded on the forest floor.

As we journey together through this enchanted forest,

Let us remain fully present and engage our senses completely.

Starting now,

Use your sense of movement and imagine yourself slowly moving your body.

Starting now,

Use your sense of movement and imagine yourself slowly walking through the forest with gentle intentional steps.

Feel the movement of your body in this space of nature.

Moving gently side to side as you step forward.

Allow your ears to attune to the rustling leaves beneath your feet,

Each step harmonizing with the rhythm of the forest.

Each step harmonizing with the rhythm of the forest.

Using your sense of sight,

Imagine yourself looking up and noticing how the canopy of the trees puts on a mesmerizing play of light and shadow.

The vibrant emerald hues of the leaves shimmering like precious gems as sunlight cascades through them.

And notice the rich range of colors that surround you.

The wild flowers scattered all around the forest.

Using your sense of hearing,

Hear the leaves swaying in the breeze and the sounds of bird songs.

A symphony of sounds plays in your ears.

Listening carefully to each and every note,

Each and every sound.

Using your sense of smell,

Let the crisp scent of pine fill your senses.

You breathe in deeply and immerse yourself in the earthy aroma of soil.

And notice the sweet fragrance of wildflowers carried on the breeze.

Using your sense of temperature,

You close your eyes and feel the gentle warmth of the sun's rays on your skin.

Using your sense of temperature,

You close your eyes and feel the gentle warmth of the sun's rays on your skin.

And the feeling of a light breeze passing over your face.

The movement of the air soft and gentle.

And using your sense of touch,

You reach out and touch the rough bark of the ancient trees.

Each one stands tall and proud,

Their whispered tales echoing through the forest.

You feel their steadfast presence,

Reminding you of your own strength and resilience.

With each mindful step,

You begin to feel more attuned to the harmony of this sacred space.

Feeling a sense of calm,

Grounded and connected.

Spend a few moments now imagining your movement through your forest.

Picturing and sensing the elements of nature all around you.

Take a few moments now to simply be in this moment with the images of your forest.

Reminding yourself of the healing power of the presence of nature.

And the healing power of the presence of nature.

And the healing power of the presence of nature.

And the healing power of the presence of nature.

And the healing power of the presence of nature.

As you move out into the world today,

As you move out into the world today,

Take time to look up and engage your senses of the things around you.

Take time to look up and engage your senses of the things around you.

The birds in the trees.

The sun shining through the leaves.

Every day gives us so many opportunities to engage in our senses.

Every day gives us so many opportunities to engage in our senses.

Which transport us deeper into every moment.

Which transport us deeper into every moment.

Let's make the intention to try this in our days.

Let's make the intention to try this in our days.

In a moment I will ring the bell.

In a moment I will ring the bell.

And when it finishes,

You can take your time to slowly open your eyes.

And when it finishes,

You can take your time to slowly open your eyes.
