Welcome,

And we will be doing a meditation on the breath.

And this is to help us relax and calm ourselves down.

This is a five minute meditation.

Let's start by just taking a good comfortable posture,

Finding our seat.

Let's just take a few normal breaths.

Now we'll begin with some deep cleansing breaths,

Sometimes known as expelling stale air.

We're going to breathe in very deep into the belly,

And pushing the lower belly out.

And then when we breathe out,

Push the belly towards the spine.

Let's try that.

Breathing in,

Breathe out.

And again,

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

One more time,

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

And just find your normal breath,

And relax with that.

It's okay if your breath is short or deep or fluttery.

Just notice whatever arises,

And be with the breath.

Keep your attention on the breath.

Breathing in,

Breathe out.

Now just rest as we close.

Thank you.
