Have you ever wondered what your life is supposed to mean?
While you're here,
Whether you're on the right path.
Whether you're doing enough.
Sometimes the mind can become very busy trying to answer these questions.
And the more we search for the answer,
The more lost we can feel.
So,
For the next few minutes.
.
.
Let's try something different.
You don't have to figure it out.
Just notice.
Take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
Notice your body sitting here Notice the air moving through you.
Notice the sounds around you.
Right now.
There is an experience happening before you have given it meaning.
And notice how quickly the mind begins to interpret.
This is good.
This is bad.
I'm behind I'm doing well.
I should be somewhere else.
You don't have to stop these thoughts.
Just notice them as thoughts.
Stories your mind is creating to understand your experience.
And for a moment let there be a little space between what is happening and what you think it means.
You may not know the meaning of your entire life.
You don't need to.
Perhaps meaning is not one answer waiting somewhere in the future?
Perhaps it is something you experience through the way you live.
Through what you care about.
Through the people you love.
Through what you create.
Through the way you meet an ordinary day.
So instead of asking what is the meaning of my life,
Ask yourself.
What matters to me today.
Don't force an answer,
Just notice.
Just notice what comes and whatever it is,
Let that be your intention for today.
You don't have to understand your whole life to live this moment meaningfully.
Take one more breath in… and out.
And gently return to your day.
