Good morning.
You're already starting this day in a wonderful way with this peaceful moment you're giving to yourself.
Your eyes are still lightly closed as you slowly become aware of your body and your breathing.
Emerson once said,
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with threat and anxiety.
To own this day,
Start by connecting with your intention for today and name it with one word.
It could be something you want to achieve,
Something you want to learn,
Or it can simply be how you want to feel.
You can now take three deep breaths and repeat that word in your mind after each of your slow exhales.
Now let go of any expectations,
Follow my voice and feel free to use everything that your mind will offer you.
As your eyes are closed,
In the darkness behind your eyelids,
You can see far,
Far away,
Moments before the dawn of your mind.
Slowly the first light appearing in the distance is making the line of the horizon to become apparent and as the sun starts slowly rising in the distance,
You start gently floating up to a safe place directly above you,
At your own pace,
In your own time.
And as the light expands up in the sky,
You rise even higher while you experience a feeling of safety,
Freedom and comfort.
And the higher you go,
The further you can see of the landscape in the distance as it gets lit by the sun.
As you gaze at this peaceful scenery,
A beautiful place starts to manifest itself on the horizon.
And as you watch closely,
More details of this beautiful place become apparent and the more you fix your eyes on it,
The clearer you can see them.
And as you enjoy this beautiful vision,
You start connecting with the positive feelings that this wonderful place arouses within you.
And as the sun keeps slowly rising,
It starts shedding its gentle light on the further side of the strip of darkness separating you from the beautiful place on the horizon.
And as the darkness retracts,
You observe this peaceful scene from your quiet spot and you start noticing a path in the distance.
And the more the light unveils it from the shadow,
The more you get curious and interested in it,
Its shape,
Its size,
What it is made of,
How easy it is to follow.
And as you contemplate the path,
You can see how you become more aware of its details as they become visible while the light of the sun uncovers them fully.
And as you keep enjoying the view from your vantage point,
You can clearly see now the beginning of the path below you and the end of it where it reaches the beautiful place on the horizon.
And as you look at it in its entirety,
You realize now for the first time how it's shorter than it seemed before.
And this makes you feel more energized while you notice something that surprises you even more.
As you keep looking at the path,
You see how it changes to reflect how you desired it to be.
One part after the other gets instantly transformed to match your positive imagination.
And as this happens,
You start feeling more and more invigorated,
Creative and refreshed.
And now we'll give you a quiet moment to enjoy the opportunity to make any more changes you like so the path becomes perfect for you to reach the beautiful place on the horizon.
And as you contemplate this beautiful view,
I want you to take one last look before we go back down to where we started.
And as you contemplate the scenery in front of you for one last time,
You get a crystal clear vision of the great things you noticed,
You created and you learned.
And now that your path is clear before you,
You can interiorize how this experience prepared you to be successful in this new day.
With three deep breaths,
You can slowly and safely descend to the place where you started,
Feeling grounded,
Invigorated,
Full of energy and perfectly ready for the opportunities this day will bring you.
Every day is different and your mind can offer you new thoughts tomorrow or every time you need it.
Now that you are prepared to own this day,
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes and have a fantastic day.

What a lovely way to begin a new day! I enjoyed the pacing, tone, and especially the imagery here. Thank you for sharing this gift with us here. I see the light in you. π€²π»β€οΈπ€²π» UPDATE: I had to deduct a star today after engaging in this practice again. While I still very much stand by my earlier review, today I was slightly more awake when I began the practice. Consequently, the first half of the music (not the words, which remain fantastic) really became troublesome and distracting due to what sounded like a looping edit problem. There is a repeated moment that I would describe as a very pronounced musical "stutter" which often occurs during a vocal pause. That makes the "stutter" (or "hiccup" perhaps) even more noticeable. For context purposes, I have a background in years of musical performance and composition as well as a previous professional career in audio engineering which spanned live house reinforcement, monitors, stage, and recording of everything from small classroom lectures to football games to satellite broadcasted international forums and radio shows (plus some television studio audio work which isn't really relevant, though my time as an audiobook technical editor and fixing looping and splice issues like this very much IS relevant). Point simply being that I know something sounds weird when I hear it, and can often tell pretty much exactly what the issue is (or close) very quickly. Today, being more alert when this began, I found that stutter almost intolerable and overpowering the lovely visualization I was practicing. Happily, this no longer happened when the music shifted with about a minute and a half remaining, as the last view finished and we returned to our starting point. I don't normally adjust reviews down very often, but I just couldn't let five stars stand when there was - for me - such a huge auditory irritant impeding my practice overall. Again, this only reflects upon that one small section of the music. The music itself was fine (except that one spot) and the vocal track and text remain superb. π€²π»β€οΈπ€²π» UPDATE#2: Fifth star restored. You did an excellent job correcting the musical stutter; I actually listened for it and couldn't hear where it had been. Great work! I enjoyed this practice now as I have before, only amplified with the smoother listening experience. βΊοΈ Well done on every front! Thank you for taking the time to thoughtfully consider the suggestions made and for taking action on them. I am extremely happy they were so well-received. I appreciate your dedication to excellence, and look forward to more of your work. Thank you again for sharing this revised version with us all. I see you and the light within you.
