
Inspirational Dream-Led Life Meditation

What does your dream life look like? You may be on the path to it, fully immersed in it, or figuring out what that means to you. This meditation gets the creative juices flowing with two parts that are separated by intentional and mindful journaling. By the end of this meditation you will be inspired and ready to take the path or a little closer to knowing what that means to you deep inside.

This meditation is focused on connecting to our purpose,
Our passion,
Our intentional dream led life.
What does that mean to you?
And have you connect to it,
Live in it,
And feel it inside your heart,
Inside your soul.
This is a creative,
Thought-provoking,
Energy,
Intentional meditation.
Before we start,
You might want to pause this.
Please get a piece of paper and a pen or you can use your phone,
Your notes in your phone if that is helpful.
We're gonna be using this to write a little bit later.
When you're ready,
We're going to start with some stretching and moving out the stale energy that's connected to others and coming back into our own,
Removing society from us and just being intentional inside ourselves.
So from a seated or standing position,
Start shaking out your arms and your legs.
Start rolling your shoulders and moving your neck around in a circle.
Whatever you need to do to feel like you're just moving out this unnecessary,
Unwanted energy and connecting to yourself.
You might want to move your jaw,
Shake your hips,
Move those around a bit.
Now we're gonna find a seated position,
Something that's comfortable but not lying down preferably,
Something that is upright and energetic but not stiff.
Just find that position that feels right for you.
And we're gonna start this meditation by beginning the container with a focused breath.
So my count right now,
We're gonna inhale for five,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
And exhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Inhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
And exhale for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
On the exhale,
Allow your body to relax.
Let the tension just kind of drip out of you into the earth on each exhale.
Do a few on your own right now.
And focus on connecting with your breath,
Using it as that energetic life force to connect you into your body,
Into your soul.
Come back into ourselves right now.
We're giving ourselves permission to explore,
To have an adventure,
To have some fun.
On your last exhale,
Focusing your breath as it is,
As it's moving your body,
As a natural breath,
As much as it can be natural when you're focusing on it.
Feel as it moves your body up and down,
As it comes into your belly,
Fills your body with air,
As it comes into your belly,
Fills your body with air and energy and new oxygen.
It is our life force connecting us to this earth,
Connecting us to our humanness.
We're born and breathe.
And we breathe every single moment in our life until we're no longer here.
It is our passions,
Our energies,
Our connections,
Our love.
It's our compassion.
So just feel it.
Get acquainted and connected with it.
Maybe even see if you have some like love and admiration for it as you just focus on this breath.
And this breath leads us and connects us to our,
This heart space,
This space kind of that lives between our heart and our body.
It's kind of that lives between our heart,
Between our chest,
Maybe even a little lower.
Everyone's is a little different,
But this place exists.
It's a place where everything just feels right.
Where all passion lives,
Where all joy,
Where all love lives unaffected,
Untainted.
Explore that space.
See if you can find it.
You can't like force yourself to find it.
Something you kind of have to slip into.
Something your breath leads you to.
You can't think it.
All you can do is feel it.
As you feel inside your body.
It might help if you picture yourself with this deep love for a child or a dog or a family member.
That like deep love.
It kind of exists over there.
It could direct you.
Don't force it.
Just feel your body.
Feel your breath.
And maybe you'll just see or feel somewhere in that vastness,
This little area that exists.
Maybe shooting out some light or clear energy.
Where everything just feels right.
Once you find it,
Sit in there,
Explore it.
Put your focus and your intention into that space.
How does it make your body feel?
What does it feel like to you?
Explore the depths of it from end to end.
Once you're inside there,
It feels vast.
Like anything is possible.
All of the drama and the matrica of our life.
Subdues.
And here,
Our intention and our love leads the way.
And if you can't find that space right now,
That's okay.
Just come to the breath.
Notice the breath moving.
And then maybe eventually it will lead you there,
Maybe not,
And that's okay.
Because the breath is our anchor to this place and the anchor to this world.
But if you can,
And you've found this little,
Little bit vast space inside of us,
You can just sit in that,
Sit in that energy.
Feel what comes up for you.
We're going to explore it for another 30 seconds.
Allow yourself to just commit to it,
To give in to it,
To feel the beauty,
The beauty that comes from it.
And to end this container right now,
Of this part of the meditation,
We're going to take two focused breaths.
So on my count right now,
Inhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
And exhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Inhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
And exhale for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Slowly start to wiggle your toes and your fingers and allow yourself to open your eyes in this space.
And now it's time to get our paper or our phone out.
And we're going to write down in a second,
Based on this prompt,
If I could do anything this life,
If I could let go of any of the what ifs or hows or I can't do that,
If I could do anything this life,
What would it be?
If I won the lottery tomorrow,
How would I live my life?
And that was society says how we should live our life.
It doesn't have to be on the beach.
It doesn't have to be a life of no work.
But like what inside of you,
Truly deep inside of you,
Is calling you?
And write that down.
Draw it.
Write words about it.
Just let there be like a flow out of your head.
And for the next 3 minutes,
We're going to let you just write.
Whatever comes to your head,
Just write.
Let it flow.
It doesn't have to be correct.
Just let the words come out.
And don't just think.
You can think and let this thought consume you,
But also try to connect to that space that we were just in.
That space where everything is possible.
You can even put your hand on that space as you're writing to connect from that space to the paper.
And just write.
What does your intentional dream led life look like?
It might be the life you have right now.
That's great.
But intentional is an important part for that.
What are you intentionally doing?
Why are you doing it?
Why are you,
Your partner,
Your family living this life?
It brings real purpose and passion and intensity and love into your family.
Even if you are living that dream life.
If there's another life that you believe is so much more right for you,
Then focus on that.
What does that look like?
What does it feel like?
Who's involved in it?
My wife and I decide to take these steps.
It was not easy.
It's not fluffy.
It's not like,
I want to live on a beach in Hawaii.
And then you just go do it.
There's real sacrifice,
Real change that happens when you're intentional with how you want to live your life and you're true to yourself.
It might require big moves.
It might require sacrificing things to really be a part of your life.
It might require big moves.
It might require sacrificing things to really hone in on what is important to you.
You will have to break through barriers and walls holding you back from it.
But that's a different meditation.
This one is about opening ourselves to the possibilities,
Expanding ourselves past this box.
Past what we were taught,
What society told us we should be doing with our life.
Doing what we truly want to do.
Thirty more seconds of writing.
And if you're done,
You can start to close your eyes and connect to your breath.
And slowly come back into that heart space,
Into that place that we connected with,
That soulfulness where all was possible,
Where all just felt right,
Untainted by drama,
Untainted by fear.
Allow yourself to slowly melt into that space again.
Allow the breath to lead you there.
Have you had trouble or difficulty exploring that space before?
See if it exists for you there.
If not,
You can come to the heart or stay with the breath.
So now that we are in this place where all is possible,
Bring this idea,
This vision into that space.
To do so,
This thought might have to first consume your brain.
You might have to let it totally just swim around your head as a thought.
And as maybe thoughts come up against that this is not possible,
Just observe them and let them float on by.
Let this concept of this life,
This intentional dream-led life that we want to live,
Come into your head and take over your thoughts.
And when that has happened,
Slowly move those thoughts of that into your heart.
But they're not just thoughts,
It's the energy around it.
What does the energy of your life feel like when this comes to fruition or is in fruition,
Or when the path towards that life begins?
Is it a feeling of joy,
Of passion,
Of excitement,
Of bliss,
Of finally?
What does that energy embody it?
Bring that energy,
That vision,
That passion into this space.
Feel it,
Allow yourself to be immersed in it and the possibilities immersed,
The expansion of it as it goes through your entire life,
As it puts its tentacles out into your family and your friends,
These energetic tentacles of passion,
Of love,
Of coming from a place of true devotion,
Not of reaching for,
Not of hoping for,
Of grasping,
But from a place of dedication and passion,
And knowing that this is your purpose.
Knowing that this is,
Right now,
In this moment,
What you were meant to do,
The thoughts of,
Ah,
This won't work,
This won't happen,
Those may come up,
They probably will,
Let them float on,
Give yourself the permission in this space to be consumed by the energy that occurs as this life begins to unfold in front of you,
As you let go of and leave behind all that you thought you had to be,
And when desire and purpose and intention lead the way,
It's a little shift,
But it's a huge shift,
Because the grasping,
The needing for things to happen,
Subside just a little,
As the passion and the purpose lead the way.
Just explore how your body feels,
As you give yourself this feeling.
And next we're going to move a little deeper,
A little deeper into our core,
That holds lots of grounding,
Purposeful energy that lives in our core,
In our belly,
To slowly start to shift those ideas and thoughts and energy down,
Down to your core,
Into your belly,
You might feel that it's already a little different,
Held a little differently than it was in that other heart space,
It's a different tone and texture to the energy of this dream-led intentional life,
When it's held in the belly.
Here maybe it feels even a little more real,
Because this is a place of grounding,
A place where deep emotions are held,
You may also come up against deep resistance,
You can feel it and let it go.
Let your body be consumed by this permission to live in this life that you know you deserve,
Or maybe that you already have,
Be grateful for what you have in front of you,
And know that this path also exists.
The path is the life.
As we all know,
There is no end.
The path is that life,
That purpose,
That vision.
Each day,
Engaging in what we love,
In what we know,
Will bring us and our family immense joy.
It's the way of life,
It's the new way of life,
No longer are we tied and bound to how we were told we should live.
Just melt into the belly,
Into those emotions and feelings that are held there,
This purposeful intentional life that we now are allowing ourselves to lead.
We're going to have about one minute to really let ourselves just totally immerse in there,
Allow everything else to fade away,
Allow yourself to totally slip into this energy living inside your core,
This life that you know that you want to live,
That you are living,
That you're beginning to live.
And everything that's come before has led you to this point,
It has not been for waste.
It has not been a waste.
It has led you to this point,
It's all been right.
Everything that we need to move forward in this new paradigm,
This new shift,
This new life lives inside of us,
In our core,
In our belly,
In our heart center,
In our soul,
In our brain.
It's all there,
All we have to do is allow ourselves to remove society,
Everything that's been put onto us and allow ourselves to connect deeply and truly and authentically.
When you're on this path and things feel difficult,
Because they will,
They will,
Remember this energy that we cultivated.
And to close the container,
We're going to take some deep inhales and exhales on your own as feels right.
There's no rush out of this space.
As you're breathing,
You can say thank you to your body for allowing yourself to go here,
To allowing yourself to be filled with this passion,
This love,
Being enraptured in it.
On your last exhale,
Start moving your fingers and your toes.
Open your eyes slowly,
Move your jaw and your body and just allow yourself to come back here,
Connected to this earth,
This beautiful life that we've been given before I mentioned.
Think about if you won the lottery,
What would your life look like?
This is going to sound so cliche potentially,
But we won the lottery.
This earth truly is incredible.
This life that we've been given,
This life that we have inside of us,
Improbable,
Impossible that we are here,
But we are against all odds,
Against all odds.
And this is our life to live,
To take hold of,
Not to live the life that someone else wants us to live,
But to live our own.
So go on into the day,
Hopefully fill this creative passion,
But go.
Live this life.
