Welcome to this guided meditation with attention on the Muladhara or Root Chakra.
My name is Eric Schott and it's an honor to have you here today to practice with me.
We will focus on balancing and aligning this energy center to promote feelings of stability and security.
Begin by finding a quiet and comfortable place to sit or lie down.
I invite you to close your eyes and take a couple foundational breaths with me.
Inhaling through the nostrils,
Filling up the belly,
Chest and head.
Holding at the top and exhale out with a sigh.
Let's do that again.
Fully in through the nostrils,
Hold at the top and exhale out with a sigh.
Terrific.
As you continue with this breathing at your own cadence,
Bring awareness to your body and let go of any tension you may discover.
With this awareness of your body,
Notice the surface beneath you.
Feel yourself grounded,
Connected to the earth.
Take a moment to acknowledge any tension or worries you may be holding on to.
As you exhale,
Imagine releasing them into the ground beneath you.
I now invite you to picture a radiant red energy center at the base of your spine.
See it as a spinning wheel of vibrant red light.
Visualize this light growing brighter and more stable with each breath.
Continue taking slow,
Deep breaths.
Inhaling and exhaling through your nose.
As you breathe in,
Imagine drawing in a warm that nourishes your root chakra.
With each exhale,
Release any doubts or fears that may be blocking this energy center.
As you continue to take breaths through your nostrils,
Slowly and deep,
I invite you now to repeat the following mantra.
Either silently.
I am safe.
Am secure.
Am safe.
Am secure.
Repeat this mantra with intention and conviction.
Feel the words resonate within you,
Reinforcing your sense of safety and security.
I am safe.
Am secure.
As we connect,
Visualize roots extending from your root chakra,
Growing deep into the earth's core.
Imagine these roots anchoring you firmly to the earth,
Providing unwavering support.
Feel the earth's nurturing energy rising up through these roots and into your root chakra.
Continue taking slow and deep breaths through your nostrils.
With your next inhale,
I invite you to shift your focus to your physical body,
Awareness to any sensations that may be arising.
Starting at the base of your spine,
Gradually scan your body upwards.
Very slowly,
Taking notice of any areas of tension or discomfort.
With each revitalizing breath,
Send healing red energy to these areas to relax and release.
To bring your attention back to my voice,
I invite you to repeat the following affirmations.
I am grounded and secure in my being.
I trust in the process of life.
I am safe and I am protected.
I am grounded and secure in my being.
I trust in the process of life.
I am safe and I am protected.
Believe in these affirmations as you say them,
Feeling their truth within your root chakra and secure in my being.
I trust in the process of life.
I am safe and I am protected.
Now dropping in to some foundational breaths.
We'll take a breath through our nostrils,
Filling up the belly,
Chest and head.
Sitting at the top and sighing it out.
Once again,
Fully in through the nostrils and exhaling with a sigh.
Slowly bring your awareness back to this present moment.
Anchor back into your vessel and slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.
Bring gentle movements through your wrists and ankles.
Gently open your eyes.
Always remember that you can return to this meditation whenever you need to reestablish a sense of security and grounding.
My name is Eric Schott and I thank you for taking the time to nurture your root chakra today.
Namaste.
