Good morning once again,
Good afternoon,
Good evening,
Good night.
Whatever time of day it is where you are,
Welcome.
Welcome to another journey of time out.
That special time we allow for ourselves so that we can settle our body and give it peace and calmness so that it can strengthen itself and we are free for a moment from the hassles and ties of the day or night.
Today journey seven.
So remember those triggers,
That deep breath in and that long slow breath out.
Let's do three of them now.
A deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
Remember just relax into your normal breathing rhythm in between.
That's a deep breath in and a long slow breath out.
And one more time a deep breath in and this time close your eyes and a long slow breath out.
Allow yourself now to drift to that space,
That screen behind your eyes.
And as the screen opens it reveals a city street,
Just a small street with shops,
Traffic,
People and the hustle and bustle.
Moving along the street notice the shops and the lights and the traffic and the footpath beneath your feet.
The people hurrying wherever they're going and the smells.
And as we make our way along the street now you'll notice the shops have disappeared and we are walking alongside a brick wall,
Quite high.
We come to a recessed gate within the wall and we can step into the recess now and straight away you notice there is a sense of peace as the traffic and the people start to disappear.
Now hanging on the gate is a thermal jacket,
Your size perfectly light and a colour you'd really like to have.
Gloves and boots,
Waterproof,
Warm and cozy.
So put them on,
You'll need them.
Now it's time to enter.
Also touch the gate,
As it opens you find yourself in a place of absolute stillness,
Of a garden wearing a soft blanket of snow.
The trees and the shrubs and a vast expanse of snow covering a lawn.
The whiteness pure,
Untouched and peace and space.
Like a new canvas,
Soft,
White,
Still,
Quiet.
Step in,
It's safe and warm in your cozy outfit.
Feel the soft snow under your feet.
Each soft footstep bringing you a sense of peace and stillness and silence.
The air crisp and cool across your face.
Feel the peace with each step.
Look at the snow on the trees and the leaves and the grass.
Look back and you can see your footprints following the path you've already made.
And ahead,
Clear,
Clean,
White.
This sense of space and quietness,
Softness.
I'd like you now to lie down in the snow,
Out flat on your back.
Feel it is soft,
Supportive and you are warm and cozy and safe.
Watch the snowflakes fall,
Delicate,
Tiny,
One at a time.
Six arms or sides,
Symmetrical,
Ice crystals,
Each one different,
Each one perfect.
Catch the sunlight on them.
Feel them gently touch your face.
One,
Two,
Three,
Covering you gently in a soft,
Light blanket.
You feel warm and safe.
Lying on the soft snow,
That cleansing,
Clearing,
Crispness all around you.
The stillness as you look up into the sky,
Soft,
White,
Space.
Just relax there now and just let your thoughts just drift and come and go.
And today you can choose in your place,
In this new space of whiteness,
Cleanness,
Untouched.
Like a new page or a new canvas.
Today you can choose,
As I choose.
Today I choose.
I choose to let go of the memories that have been weighing me down.
I watch them rise from me and drift back on the stream of time.
Back to where they came from.
I feel so much lighter.
Today I choose.
I choose to let go of self-limiting thoughts,
Those thoughts that have been weighing me down.
I allow them to drift like clouds,
Higher and higher until they are gone.
I focus on the thoughts that sustain me.
I feel so much lighter.
Today I choose.
I choose to let go of fear.
To let go of all the negative emotion that has been weighing me down.
From this place of calmness and clarity,
I see it all in a new light.
I watch it become weaker and weaker.
I feel so much lighter.
Today I choose.
I choose to let go of the me I don't want to be.
The me of the past who is shackled,
Not free.
The me with the memories,
The thoughts and the fears that have been weighing me down for so many years.
I let go of that me.
I feel so much lighter.
Today I choose.
I choose to step into my future.
I choose to be free.
I feel so much lighter.
Lighter like the lightest of snowflakes.
Let's stand now and look ahead,
Stepping into your new future at the beautiful unblemished path ahead of us.
Blanket in a soft cover of snow,
Waiting for us to move forward.
Remember it there now.
Hold it there in your mind.
It's time to come back.
Bring it with you,
That memory,
As we retrace our path back to the gate.
A path already clean and free,
Filled with snow.
The steps that we made,
Removed.
Back to the gate.
Back to the recess.
Remember to take off your coat,
Your boots,
Your gloves,
And leave them there for the next time.
And with this blanket of softness and peace wrapped around you,
Make your way back down the busy street.
So calm.
So peaceful.
So light.
Ready to walk on the path of your future.
To make your first footprint,
Your first mark on that blank canvas,
That blank page.
As you bring yourself back now.
Back.
Back to this time in your place and your space.
Thank you for journeying with me and for taking time out.
Remember to carry that sense of space and calmness and whiteness with you,
Especially the lightness.
And I'll see you next time for journey eight.
