Welcome.
Yeah,
Welcome to your day's meditation.
They say that if you don't have five minutes to meditate during the day,
You should meditate for ten minutes.
This is definitely a priority.
We see that when we even meditate for ten minutes,
The rest of our life,
The quality of what we do in our daily life dramatically increases.
We're dramatically more present,
More conscious.
So I'm sitting in an ashram.
There might be sounds of little birds around in the background.
Just inviting those sounds in.
Everything can be a part of our meditation today,
The natural world around us.
So let's take a few deep breaths to really,
Really arrive into the practice.
If you want,
You can place a little pillow under your hips so that your hips come above your knees.
It makes the psoas muscles,
Our hip flexors,
Just relax a little bit and allow us to get a bit deeper into meditation.
Allow circulation to flow through our body.
Notice from where you're arriving today.
Maybe your mind's a bit scattered.
Maybe you're super calm.
Wherever you are,
Just honoring that space.
No need to change.
Just accepting yourself as you are.
You are welcome as you are.
Always welcome.
Today we'll be enjoying this meditation from our heart space.
So I want you to imagine a little heart,
Sorry,
A little door at the back of the heart.
In between the shoulder blades,
Like opening this little door and walking inside and finding that warm heart space and settling into that space.
Drawing energy up from the earth into that space,
Into this beautiful,
Spacious heart.
And rippling the love and compassion from our heart down to our fingertips,
To our toes.
Every inhale we gather support into the heart.
As we exhale,
We disperse into the body.
Feeling the fluidity of this heart,
The compassion and abundance that we hold within this heart.
And as we ripple through the body,
We notice any tension dissolving.
The river of breath flows in and out,
Expanding the stomach,
Expanding the chest,
Filling the lungs,
Filling the heart.
Really releasing.
As if time is moving slower,
As if we have this bubble around us that pauses time for us to indulge in the present moment.
Let's take a deep inhale.
As we exhale,
We release the practice.
I want you now to imagine,
Imagine yourself laying in a beautiful grass field.
Feeling your entire body surrender to the palm of the earth,
To the landscape of this being beneath us.
Feeling held in the hands of the planet.
Feeling breeze come by.
Feeling a gentle,
Gentle release in the body as you feel this energetic connection of the earth beneath us.
Very slowly we find our body getting lighter and lighter and lighter as we start to rise up into the blue sky,
This cloudless sky.
We get higher and higher and we see these beautiful mountains beneath us,
This beautiful valley that we were laying in,
This vibrant creature,
This planet.
As we get higher and higher past the atmosphere,
We find ourselves into this beautiful night sky,
This galaxy that surrounds our earth like a womb.
As if our earth was a fetus in the womb,
Held,
Suspended in animation.
And as we arrive to the outskirts of our planet's field of gravity and we see the solar system around us,
We can see in the distance what looks like a gas station floating around this universal gas station.
Curiously,
We slowly move our way floating over to this gas station,
This petrol station.
And we start to observe that instead of petrol at this station,
We have different attributes,
Different characteristics,
And they're free and unlimited.
So we turn the dial to compassion.
We lift the nozzle and start pouring this compassion into our hands,
Noticing the hands fill up with warm sensations of compassion.
And as it starts to overflow into our hands,
It seeps into our wrists,
Our forearms,
Elbows and shoulders,
All the way into our mind,
Into our heart,
Down to our feet,
This overwhelming river of compassion,
Creating a little bubble around us.
Once it's filled up our body,
We can place the nozzle back and turn the dial to love.
We take the nozzle and start pouring on our head like a waterfall of love dripping down the body,
Seeping into all of the pores,
The blood vessels,
The blood,
Feeling love in every nook and cranny of the body pouring down like paint,
A protective shield of love.
And once that fills all the way,
Dripping down to the toes,
One more time,
We place the nozzle back and turn the dial to serenity.
And we started our feet,
We can feel this blanket of serenity,
Serene energy,
Of peacefulness,
Quietness,
Covering the body in this blanket.
A deep peacefulness caresses the body.
And we place the nozzle back with these three powerful attributes,
These three tools and guides,
Protecting us for the day,
For the week,
For the year,
For our life.
Remembering that this petrol station is always accessible,
Is always present.
We'll give a little nod and thank you to this space that welcomed us.
And with a deep inhale and exhale with no attachment,
We'll release the practice.
Sitting in a subtle awareness and just noticing any changes to the body or the mind,
Any sounds,
Close or far,
Just observing.
Enjoying this subtle inner awareness and peace that we've cultivated.
Remembering that this peace is always present.
It's just a frequency.
We can place our hands at heart center if we'd like.
We're just bowing gently in gratitude for this practice,
For our teachers,
For those who teach us,
For the experiences that we have in our life,
This crazy,
Crazy beautiful life.
And just remembering I'm safe.
I'm loved and everything will be okay.
Thank you for joining me on this journey,
For trusting me.
It's been an honor to share with you.
The enlightened,
The serene,
The love,
The compassionate in me.
Sees the love,
The joyous,
The oneness in you.
Namaste.
