Let yourself settle back into the chair or bed or surface you were on,
Making yourself fully comfortable and allow your eyes to softly close.
Let yourself land,
Let yourself fully set in,
And let this be a time just for you putting aside all worries,
Concerns,
And thoughts of the day.
Now bring your attention to the sensation of your breath,
Not trying to change or manipulate it in any way,
But simply witnessing the moment unfolding.
Notice how your breath feels and where it is in your body.
Relax your jaw and allow your tongue to rest comfortably.
Notice the space between your eyebrows.
Feel the physical sensations,
The rising and falling of your belly.
Now inhale slowly and deeply through your nose,
Sending the air as low down as you can.
And as you inhale,
Let your belly expand out like a balloon.
And as you exhale,
Let your belly soften back towards your spine.
With each in-breath,
Breathe in oxygen,
Vitality,
Energy,
Compassion,
And regeneration.
And with every exhale,
Exhale slowly,
Releasing all that you do not need to hold on to.
Allow it to be a letting go of all that is stuck inside.
Allow your edges to soften,
And whatever isn't serving you in your life right now,
Let it out through your nose or even out through your mouth for a deeper sensation.
Allow the release of tension from your body to take place.
And if you notice any pain,
Physical or emotional,
Acknowledge it and any thoughts or emotions that accompany it and gently breathe through it.
If you notice any uncomfortable sensations,
Focus your attention on those areas.
Breathe into those areas,
Sending them healing energy,
And then visualize the tension leaving your body through your breath and evaporating into the air.
I invite you now to place one hand on your chest and one hand on your abdomen.
And let's go ahead and inhale to the count of four.
Inhale two,
Three,
Four.
Hold your breath.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Hold.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Breath in two,
Three,
Four.
Hold your breath.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven.
Good.
And now gently withdrawing our awareness away from our thoughts,
Let's come back to the physical breath in our abdomen.
Just being mindful to breathe in and breathe out.
As we begin to end our meditation,
Let's take these next few moments to practice gratitude for the time we took out of our day and put into our health and wellbeing.
You have everything inside of you that you need to live a rich life full of joy and abundance.
Namaste.
The light in me sees and honors the light in you.
