Hi and welcome to this practice.
Before we begin today's meditation,
I invite you just to spend a few moments setting the scene of your space so that it feels supportive and nourishing for you in this moment.
Perhaps choosing whether you'd like to sit,
Stand,
Lay down,
Making yourself comfortable,
Taking any little adjustments and just doing whatever you need to do to signal to yourself that you have arrived here.
Maybe if it feels okay closing down the eyes,
Softening the shoulders,
Letting the jaw relax and that space between the eyebrows soften.
Taking in a deep breath and opening the mouth to exhale.
You have arrived.
Just taking a couple more breaths like that,
Perhaps affirming that same affirmation to yourself.
You have arrived and just giving yourself full permission to fully land here exactly as you are.
Before we enter into this affirmation practice,
Just taking a moment to honor yourself for coming into this space as you are,
Holding this space for yourself and honoring whatever is arising for you in this present moment.
Taking a moment to acknowledge that whatever is arising is safe here.
There's no way that you need to be.
There's nothing that you need to achieve.
There's nothing that you need to leave this space with.
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to heal.
All we're simply doing here is creating space to be as you are,
To sit with whatever is arising and to fully witness yourself fully without feeling like you need to hide.
Full permission for the full self to arrive in this space.
And if it feels aligned for you,
Perhaps bringing a hand or both hands to the heart space and just starting to pay attention to the breath as it flows in and out of this center.
And just noticing how this space is feeling for you today and just knowing that whatever is arising is safe to be here.
With every inhale,
Feeling that heart open and expand with full acceptance of yourself in this moment.
And with every exhale,
Just releasing any voice,
Any thought,
Any niggle.
Just trying to prevent that full permission of your full self from being in this space.
Continuing with that inhale,
Open,
Allowing.
And that exhale,
Releasing.
Continuing with this breath as I begin to introduce some affirmations to guide you into arriving here,
Being present within this moment,
Honoring your full self in this space.
And you can either repeat these after me in your head or out loud.
Or just draw in an inhale and an exhale afterwards just to fully cement that into you,
Into your body.
So continuing with that inhale and exhale into the heart space.
I have arrived.
It is safe for me to be here.
My whole self is welcome in this space.
There is no other way I need to be.
I honor whatever is arising for me with love and compassion.
I know that I do not need to fix any part of me.
Everything I feel is welcome in this space.
I am exactly as I need to be in this moment.
I am grateful for how I hold myself in every capacity.
I welcome my full self into this space.
I'm no longer hiding.
I trust in the way I am able to hold myself.
I have arrived.
And just taking another one of those cleansing breaths into the heart space,
Filling that chest,
Opening,
Expanding,
Opening the mouth,
Exhaling,
Just letting it all go.
Honoring yourself,
Forgiving this space for whatever arises.
All sides of you,
All expressions,
All feelings,
Knowing that there is no right and wrong.
There is no brokenness.
There is nothing that needs fixing.
Letting that whole self arrive,
Full trust that it's going to be held here.
You can stay here for as long as you need.
