Hi,
And welcome to this softening into surrender practice.
As you arrive here,
I invite you to do exactly that.
Soften into this space,
Rolling the shoulders back away from the ears,
Grounding into the floor beneath you,
Relaxing the space between the eyebrows,
Releasing the jaw,
Noticing any other areas of tension in the body,
And just giving them permission to soften,
To surrender as you fully allow yourself to be in this space.
Softening to the natural rhythm of your breath,
Surrendering to your environment,
Feeling what it feels like just to allow yourself to be fully in this moment.
Even when we find it hard to surrender,
What we're really saying is that we find it hard to trust.
We're living in fear,
Holding on to what we need to let go of,
And not allowing ourselves to step in for what is meant for us.
You're safe here to loosen your grip.
Space is simply being cleared for the right path to appear.
Right now,
None of it might make much sense,
But one day you will see why this all had to happen.
I know right now you might want to resist it,
To avoid the pain,
The discomfort,
The unknown.
This is where trust will save you.
Trust doesn't need it to make sense,
Doesn't need it to solve itself right away,
Or for anything to be other than what it is right now.
Trust knows that it's all happening for you,
Not to you.
Think of all the twists and turns that have existed in your life,
Every bit of joy,
Love,
And wonder that you've ever experienced was brought to you through redirection.
Something had to fall away for that to be invited in.
What if that's exactly what's happening right now?
What if you let go of the fight?
What if you allowed it to not make sense?
What if you gave the discomfort space to be here?
What if you softened into surrender,
Knowing that you will never miss what is meant for you?
On your next inhale,
Just breathing in deep,
Filling your body with that air,
Opening and expanding.
And then as you exhale,
Open the mouth,
Sigh it out,
Surrender.
Staying here for as long as you need to,
Returning to these words every time you feel that grip tighten and you want to surrender to what is.
Thank you so much for being here.
